I discovered them for the first time about 6 months ago when they opened for Two Door Cinema Club and my mind was blown. I didn't even care about Two Door after that. They've been my favorite band since.
Peach Pit is so insanely underrated. I vividly remember the first time I'd heard their music. The first song of theirs I'd ever heard was Being So Normal. I still cherish that memory. It's been almost 2 years and it's still one of my favourite songs ever.
The First time that I heard PPit I was taking my first and only whippet. The effect of the nitrous oxide went to my brain right as the beginning crescendo of black licorice was happening. It was amazing
God I wish I could still get stoned, if I could this band would definitely be at the top of my playlist, would be amazing to watch these guys while being baked lmao.
Peach pit is the perfect mood, makes you feel blessed when you're happy. Makes you feel that it's okay to be sad sometimes too. Easily the best soundtrack for life
My brother went to this concert with his friends (u can see him briefly in a turquoise cap on the left) and he actually lined up for dumplings with Pete the bass player and had a conversation with him, as well as watched them intro for a kids magic act that apparently not a lot of other people knew about so they got a picture with the band. No matter how old I get I will never not envy him for getting to have that experience.
I have such a vivid memory involving my first time hearing peach pit. someone had tommy's party on a house playlist for a party, and I remember the rest of the room falling away, and only being able to hear it.
