Correct me if I’m wrong, but this stitch is a little more than just 5 individual dc stitches with each dc finished before going to the next dc in the same stitch. That would actually be a shell stitch if I understand and remember the stitch correctly. The bobble stitch doesn't completely follow through with the last part of the stitch, and instead goes on to create all 5 dc which technically I guess that would be a half double crochet because you don't completely finish out the last step until then 5th dc when you finish off all five at once!

Similar look, but easier to do. Not sure why anybody would popcorn stitch if they know how to bobble.
