I swear you watch one episode of master chef and youtube throws a whole season at you lol
that too of all masterChef shows around the world 😂
Yeah😂😂
Its just like kitchen nightmares 😂😂
And then you watch those too
Ikr?
Marco is like that distant successful uncle we all wanna impress
Literally the best description i've seen
Only you think he looks disappointed, but gives you the best advice.
Sooooo true
Well said
That's because Marco is a ***true*** master chef. He knows he's damn good. He **doesn't** need a pat on the back. He **doesn't** need a half dozen shows to brag. He **doesn't** have to prove himself to anyone but himself. That's how the master chefs of Europe work, the traditional/authentic master chefs.
Gordon in comparison is insecure. He lacks confidence. He has a half dozen shows to brag about his skills. In shows, he's screaming at junior chefs. Yes. It happens in kitchens. Gord is excessive, there are times others in the background turn to look at his disrespectful conduct. But then is there a better way to elevate his "expertise" than make others look incompetent?
This episode proves how awesome Marco is as a human being and as a teacher. That's why Chef's all around the world loves to learn under his wings. Marco will literary make the best version of yourself with his teachings.
Yes and yet it's the harshest too
It's quite easy when all you have to do is have someone put in some Knorr stock pots.
@@laur9251 old tired joke
These stockpot jokes are getting so old now...
You haven’t seen the old Marco huh?
Marco definitely has an aura of authority, more so than Ramsay and it scares me
He is literally Ramsay's teacher
He was one of Ramsay's mentors xd
Ramsay just insults people. That's not the definition of authority, or leadership.
By the way, he trained Ramsay.
@@CooManTunes thats literally only in hells kitchen... And his tv persona.
In master chef, he never insults excessively.
It is so weird you say something and marco looks at you like he just killed you and all your ancestors and the next moment he gives you the advise and words you need
Advice
@Jaime Dale So, the main difference between advice vs advise is that “advise” (with an S) is a verb that to recommend, or to give information to someone. On the other hand, “advice” (with a C) is a noun: an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action.
In this situation advice is the proper word.
This feels so much more genuine than the American version, lol.
The mentors are competing with the participants, so humbly
Lol i agree.
Everything is more genuine than anything American
Anti-American trash
@@Daniel-mq3nf ew, Americans
“Good Cooks, cooks for others” the one true purpose of being a Cook
There are others who only cook for themselves
Now Marco only cook for himself, he even return every michelin star he have
Freigeist because he didn’t agree with the fact that people who can’t cook rate your dishes and put an immense amount of stress on the chef and staff. To earn Michelin stars, everything has to be exaggerated, even the scenery, taking away the focal point, which is the food.
@Freigeist The journey to 3 stars is very exciting. But once you've won 3 stars, keeping them becomes very boring.
He's working 90 hours a week and not getting to enjoy life.
He's being judged by people who know less.
He could have continued doing what he was doing, retain his status, but be miserable.
He could live a lie. Pretend to cook when he doesn't. Retain his position but question his integrity because he believes the chef should be behind his stove.
Or he could leave it all. Lose his status, but be free to do whatever he wants.
Right after Shannon says he hasn't been able to check on Georgia. His mind as a cook was obviously pure.
Macro Pierre when time is running out:
"Chicken skin ... ... ... ... ... Are you not gonna use it? ... ... ... ... Can I give you one little piece of advise?"
Exactly lol.
Knorr Chicken Stock Cubes :p
Add a knorr stockpot with a liddle bitta olivol
I laughed at this lmaooooo
4:02 - 4:07 that 5 second stare can scare the hell out of anyone. Definitely scared me
''I know that whatever Shannon has done is going to look amazing, so I really need to put some time and some detail into what I'm planning on." Hearing this type of humbleness is quite refreshing to me, usually in the American one all I hear is ''Compared to my dish theirs looks like [insert typical insult]".
That's why MCAU is the best version of the show. Everyone is nice and usually humble. They are also much better cooks from the outset than the US contestants.
@@sl3966 And for the audience it is more fun as well because they show a lot more with Masterclasses stuck in between the competition elements. Now given the fact that the contestants of MC USA also show a lot of progress i'm going to guess they get masterclasses as well BUT... ''we'' the audience don't get to see those, probably because those masterclasses aren't even being recorded.
MC AU also has theme-weeks. Week with Marco.. week with Heston. it is all very laid back and relaxed and it seems they almost forget they are in a competition
Of course, Shannon is professional and once worked for Marco. Georgia knows his capacity very well.
@@sl3966 mashallah tbark allah alhamdulillah inshallah better astaghfirullah
@@lunasilvermoon2283 mashallah tbark allah alhamdulillah inshallah better astaghfirullah
I love Marco's approach. He is honest, fair, and inspiring. He does not rely on humiliation. He instils passion for cooking. Yes, he is faster, and strict, but what do you expect from a three star Michelin chef with years of experience? Marco has perfected the art of culinary delight. It is wonderful that he passes this great gift on by inspiring others to develop and reach for the stars as he did himself. Bravo Marco.
He doesn't hold any Michelin stars anymore, he gave them all back.
Great analysis
He realised he was better then those judging his food, so he walked away.
@@thelazyworkersandwich4169Once a Michelin star chef, always a Michelin star chef. He never lost his stars, he gave them back willingly, because he did not want his culinary expertise judged by a bunch of amateurs compared to his skill level in cooking.
What makes Marco such a great teacher is that he allows the chefs to make their own mistakes. He knows what they should do but makes sure its their choice. You learn so much more from your mistakes
Forget the mistake, remember the lesson.
Love MC Australia the Judges and contestants are just so fun to watch
Too bad the newer seasons got a total revamp
@@Zenocius what did they change?
@@___echo___ all new judges.
Because they are kind to each other
Marco is a good educator. instead of uselessly yelling at people for small mistakes that aren't totally ruinous in and of itself, he constructively helps to improve chefs skills which empowers them!
I like this wiser much more gentler version of Marco. I swear if we ever saw how he was to Gordon Ramsay, we will all be saying "Yes Marco" on the other side of the screen
I want him unleashed on Masterchef USA 🤣
Love how many of the non-American MC versions don't rely on all that drama and screaming and animosity. This is so harmonious
MC India, they just make the contestants panic but never insult.
Well, it's a British show. America does the usual - gets a licence and cranks everything up to 11.
@@boskee yes absolutely disgusting
@@v.krishnankaushik9812 yeah lol, going from the drama and Joe Bastisch to MC India is a world of difference, you'd think Ranveer would be the Ramsay/Joe of the show but he's far more like Marco.
Not to mention he'll never throw ANY dish in the trash (unlike Joe 🤮)
Lol when the mentor becomes the competitor and guest judge becomes the mentor 🙈
At first, I thought Marco was one of the most evil villains amongst chefs, but after watching a few episodes, I've come to realize he is one of the most humble chefs I've ever seen.
Shannon Bennett is an amazingly nurturing guy.
Marco > Gordon in terms of being an educator, personality and humility, without question.
gordon was the student of marco so don't compare them :)
Duhhh
Both of them are really good. I think Marco is like you said. more of an original but as also traditional master chef and Gordon is more of an intense fiery passion chef. Both are incredible in their own masterful arts.
@@thomasgrabowski2202 I agree, both are fantastic chefs. However I definitely would prefer to be mentored by someone like Marco if I was a chef. Do you often get told you look like a young version of the actor "Tobias Menzies"?
I like watching Ramsay with the little kids in MC Junior, he scolds them, but there’s so much love and motivation towards them
Marco shows himself to be a great teacher. He really inspires and gives you advice, even of he is intimidating. Ten times greater than Ramsay. Marco has dignity and poise. Not that he won't be harsh, but it's different.
Gordon cooked under Marco in his early years
@@prateekchaudhari7203 He also learned a lot of his yelling from him, too. Lol.
I love how people in 2020 still mention Marco was one of Ramsays mentors like they are breaking news 😂
Jim 83 because a lot of people in 2020 still post comments that Marco is a Gordon ripoff.
ChuckRazor No one with a brain cell says that.
4:01
"Should I put it in some butter in the pan?"
Marco: (stares into her soul)
"Should I... ??"
"It's upto you"
Still provided more motivation than people speaking in great details.
the australia version of topchef is very nice, no toxic pressure, giving advice to help candidate to give their best. really nice to watch
These are old videos though, aired years ago. But the group of contestants were fantastic in this season.
For me,best season ever
@@mohdjamilitemin9715 same
I agree
4:07 marco should said his signature catchphrase " again , its ur choice " . if you watch his knorr videos you get me
Marco is like a sith lord that practices in the dark side of the force and Ramsay is his aprentice that just slashes everyone with words
Georgia's face gets me everytime 😅. It's like she would start to cry any second.. Lol
Marco`s stare is so beyond intimidating!
Even the judges are so humble! They respond to praise so humbly and aren't arrogant or braggish. They stand there to receive their criticism like any contestant would. What a fun group of people!
5:36 It's been so long since i heard someone will talk like that.. all those chefs i worked with are just crazy without a proper knowledge of cooking while acting like they are pro in the kitchen. Chef Marco Pierre is the best.. Very Strict and Straight to the Point while teaching. Respect.
Season 7, really brought the most creative and impressive challenges and surprises to the contestants, never thought Shannon steps down from his mentor role to personally challenge the cook for the immunity pin
5:42
was not expecting something like that from Marco. Full of surprises
Wow, it's like Ahsoka competing against pre-Vader Anakin being judged by Kenobi.
On point man👌👌
damn, too real! great analogy rofl
But who has the high ground?:)
Shannon really is very experimental when he cooks it’s actually entertaining
The food critic pants wtf lol
Yeah its not rare to see him wear those clown trousers🤣
hahahahahha honestly
Looks good on him tho😁
@@athingbaijam2609 You're sick in the eyes and in the mind. Matt Preston dresses like a showroom dummy because he's the only one on the staff who's not a proper chef. That's his little signature.
@@AlanHope2013 I know he's not a proper chef. I know it's his little signature.
Matt Preston's pants reminded me Of Joey from friends on Thanksgiving when he had to eat a whole Turkey 😂
"Those are my Thanksgiving pants."
I already watched all seasons
Masterchef Australia will never be the same without this joyful trio
they are so respectable to each other. this is nice to see.
Wow, I wish the American chef shows were like this... Ramsay for instance has a ton of talent but the later seasons (Hell's kitchen, kitchen nightmares) focus so much on edited drama rather than the core of the show: a renowned chef mentoring and critiquing newer chefs in a competitive setting. 5:40, White actually helps her here. All the clips from American food shows I see are all about the drama and not the positive culinary focus present in this video.
that's definitely more of the editor+the show-runners fault that care more about views from drama than just culinary skills imo
It’s a casualty of American television. All those edits and drama. His shows outside of America are a lot more chill
Do you not watch the Food Network or something? It’s mostly Fox that does the drama because, well, it’s Fox. I don’t think enough people understand that Ramsay’s shows are pretty atypical for most American food shows.
That's not Gordon Ramsay fault, he's like that too, the editors only show when he's angry.
@@invisible8334 Poor Gordon Ramsay doesn't even have control of how he's portrayed on his own show apparently xD
MC Aus is the best one by far.
Those judges are the best, makes me want to get in the kitchen and help my wife.
Do it!
Last your 2019 was the last year with those judge's this year 3 new one's

Gannicus did amazing. How he went from the arena to cooking is beyond me

The music towards the end of the cooking time is what you hear when the hero is on his/her way to the final showdown in movies/video games.
I see where Chef Ramsay learned to be stern yet sweet to females.
Australian MasterChef always makes me feel happy. So genuine and positive. The best globally. Thank you from a jealous pom.
Marco quietly staring you down is far more terrifying than Gordon screaming at you.
Marco is simply the best ever.
Marco is that person who's very intimidating indeed but when you look at him you know deep down all his words, advice, and criticisms are meant to bring the best in you. The most inspirational man I've ever seen.
Marco looks like the proud father during judging.
This feels so much more wholesome than the other versions :D
MC Aus and Can are the best
It started yesterday with Reynold's moss dessert which was followed by binging every single Reynold moment, followed by binging MC Aus. I've fallen down the MC Aus rabbit hole and I'm loving it. Getting quite hungry though...
Shannon is using the strainer, and Marco starts hit it with a spoon, wich is his tasting spoon, but it is his choice
Marco’s spit is where the flavour is at.
@@carluy7351 ew
yeah but he didnt tasted with it. they change spoon after tasting a thing
Marco is that one teacher who everyone respects and loves because deep down everyone knows they're a sweetheart

Marco the rockstar!! Love it
Hooray for RUclips they miss out on anything thank you so much for showing the full season if Master Chef as I missed out on so much if it here at home when they cut it out on our Television 😀😀👍👍🌹🌹❤️❤️
Marco is like movie super villan that eventually comes out as a good guy
Australia really is upside down. Even their countdown timer is counterclockwise.
Billie looks like a supermodel.
She is glorious
humanity exist. no hate just love. it's good to watch this.
Dude I just get clips and seeing a person that can be happy taking the L us real respect that composure to congratulate and hug them tell them you won means something. Regardless of how you felt she's a true sport and that's what I like to see. That's a real woman.
That is such a good show, I’m impressed
2:03-2:27 I wonder today if Shannon knows the value of that moment.
I was touched by MPW's remarks at 8.45.
Marco reminds me of Gordon Ramsay, just more calmer by the way he just stares instead of screaming "ITS F****** RAW!"
Marco proves thst he is the best chef, by encouraging these chefs to see what they cannot see..
In the kitchen, nothing escapes Marco’s senses.. nothing gets by him…
Shenen is one of my fevourite chef 🙂🥰....He's so humble and friendly...he's one of the best 💙
Marco has this monster reputation but all I’m seeing here is a mentor with high standards who knows they can live up to those standards.
in fairness, his monster reputation is as a chef running service, not as a presenter/teacher on a game show.
Marco is a great mentor and a great human being
Marco's stare alone could melt a diamond.
wow.. curry leaves? one of the most core herbs of Indian cooking..
4:03 that stare.. It's the stare that can literally see through your soul
Marco, your are absolutely noble!!!
When Marco starts eating your food before the time you know it’s flavored
Shannon Bennett is a very nice and humble person
Marco: Can I give you one little piece of advice?
Georgia: Yes Marco
Marco: George, Matt, and Gary all love Knorr stock pods. _turns towards the cameras_ Knorr stock pots are actually my favourite way of seasoning meat and sauces, that is why I always use them when I cook - but it's your choice really"
The greatest masterchef competition for me is australia’s season 7
Did Any one else hear Marco's soft wow when he saw Georgia's dish?
At one point, the knorr stockpot disses get old and silly. Come on guys. Let’s see MPW in the right way.
Again, it's your choice
Marco is a good man. He teaches them as they do missions? Thats legit. Ill have to watch master chef Australia now.
I'm feeling second hand nervousness just from watching this.
I’m not even there but when he stares at you I feel uneasy😂
No one:
Marco chilling around holding a spoon
This is not a show..its a family 👪 ❤
MARCO doesn't shout but his starring is enough to make anyone forget everything
I want to see ultra master chef where it's the most famous chefs battling it out. So basically all the judges.
Just looking at his style i like this guy already.
I absolutely love chef Marco
Gotta love the pro tip from Marco!
Chef Marco is the teacher of Chef Gordon. Both amazing chefs
Shannon Bennet, gordon ramsay, mario batali and curtis stone worked for marco. 😂
don't forget Heston Blumenthal as well
Marco loves waving that spoon
