The reason I love these cooking shows is because you get to see all of the contestants genuinely appreciative of each other. There's no hair-pulling, back-biting American reality TV antics. Obviously I love Reynold here, but his co-contestant with the wings was incredibly graceful and obviously talented as well. Great job to everybody here. Like musicians appreciating one another-we all know who is truly talented in the various categories!!
I’ve never seen the other contestants watch their opponent with smiles and excitement like they do with this guy.
That seems to be Masterchef Australia's trademarks. Contestants are actually supportive with each other, very rarely you see them sniping at each other. The judges themselves always say, at the end of every episode, 'be nice to each other'. The camaraderie is awesome.

Got eliminated because of overcooked fish what a stupid show
He was trained by industry professionals. His brother is a judge on master chef Indonesia. He knew how to play the system to try and win the pay off.
He did the same thing that Heston gave in his season finale. Season 7 was botrytis cineria, which needed a sugar ball blown. So he did that to prove his improvement since season 7. Reynold is a legend.
His desserts are like perfect fusion of Eastern and Western foods, in a magic harmony. This man feels like someone beyond the title of King, and seems to create sweet treasures through the hands of God.

- I'm sorry, my grammar was so bad, so just correct me if I'm wrong
He’s a culinary innovator! I’ve never seen anyone else blowing sugar bubbles like this! He has created incredible desserts that nobody has ever made before!
That's just because you have never seen anybody work with sugar and not because it's that rare... Don't get me wrong, his dessert was gorgous but let's not pretend he invented the method on the spot.
I like Raynold's work! But this is not something new in here. The finale episode of MasterChef Australia season 7 in which Billy wins over Chef Heston's challenge with same glass dome.
Watch TopChef France you'll see :D
Nah, Sugar blowing is actually invented by the Chinese, and they are still using it in the streets these days, they blow all types of shapes, including dragons, shrimps, and etc. They also have another method of using a big ladle to make creative pieces using brown sugar. Honestly, I was surprised this was even that shocking to westerners. Lmao.
Reynold is the kind of guy who makes me believe that superpowers are not just things comic book characters have.
He’s like the asian kid whose parents want him to study sciences but he loves cooking so he do both!
😂😂
He's a lil bro of master chef Indonesia's judges
Ngl had me in the first half 😂
Actually, his brother is chef and his mom chef too
Yeah of course! Initially her mother is not very supportive of his culinary journey because she knew how hard the job was. That’s why in his audition it was the more special that the one who gave him the apron was her mother. It does not mean that if your family are chefs they would automatically encourage you to go get the same job. Sometimes, it’s not the case.
When your passion is art but your parents force you to be a chef
Actually his mom, also a chef, didn't want him to be a chef until he joined MC

Joshua in the end it wasn’t just about the taste but the whole experience. That extra touch of beauty is what makes the dish twice as expensive at a restaurant because it also needs that much more care, technique, and precision to pull it off.
She brought a knife to a sword fight. That dish does not look MasterChef worthy by any means. Not to mention the store bought beer and plain veggies. That's a homecooked meal, not a dish that's meant to showcase skill and finesse.
