  • We are very excited to bring you this tutorial series! You can have so much fun with the Rooster, Hen and Chick projects. There are limitless possibilities on the fiber colors and textures that you can incorporate into these critters. This is not for beginners--the armatures and wrapping of the legs makes this an intermediate project. At this time we do not have a Rooster, Hen and Chick Supply Pack. We anticipate having Rooster Locks available. Visit www.sarafinafiberart.com for all of your needlefelting supplies.

Your mentioning of the chicken armature looking like a dinosaur made me remember a fun fact. A chicken is related (sharing a lot of common DNA markers) to a Tyrannosaurus Rex. I like to astound kids with this fact on the museum tours I give. Love your videos btw!

Just alittle info: A rooster's spur isn't a toe. It's a horn on the side of their leg.
