in play it would be actually pretty funny to play "an offer you can't refuse" and actually have an opponent go "well, you say that, but I'mma refuse it anyway". your idea is fun in flavor, but the other is fun in play. I think both are pretty good tbh

I pulled one at prerelease and put it into the Jinnie Fey deck I was planning on building anyways. All lands tap to either make treasure, create a 2/2 cat with haste or a 3/1 dog with vigilance.. I’m loving it
When I pulled Bootlegger’s Stash from a prerelease kit I showed it to my friend and he immediately helped me put it into my sea monsters landfall deck so I’m not surprised that it made this list (my friend is a veteran player so if he made me put it into my deck it must be good)
Everyone forgets about the Izzet elder dragon from strixhaven, you can tap artifacts or treasures to play your big sorcery spells. Big burn spell go boom

Am I the only person who doesn't like bootleggers stash? It's a 6 drop artifact in mono green, the color with the best ramping to begin with. And there is so much removal in the format that it's going to be gotten rid of almost immediately. You'll get some treasures out of it sure, but you're immediately the arch enemy and everyone will focus you down. You basically paid 6 mana for a massive target on your head. Also, I dont think it's a bad card. It's incredible. I just think it's overhyped and very pushed.
It's not an autoinclude in every green deck, but the decks that want it really want it. Don't think of it as making treasure, think of it as "Lands you control have T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Draw a card and put a +1/+1 counter on your commander." :P
It definitely has a place in decks that care about sacing permanents or artifacts either one it will put in some serious work if you can keep it around.
True, but there are plenty of cards out there that automatically put a target on your back the second you play it. Hell there are commanders that make you enemy number one before you draw your first card.
It’s going to permanently annoy me that Seize the Spotlight has players “choose” instead of “vote” when it otherwise plays like a council’s dilemma card and it’s in the same set as Tivit.
I do agree that Bootlegger's is a little overhyped; but I also feel like it has a comfortable home in my Korvold deck. Though i'm a bit afraid it's kind of a "win more" card considering its mana cost. I'll find out as I put it into practice!
On its own its Meh however if you manage to untap w8th it you should win with any setup its in green so chatterfang/kovold any double token effects/ academy manufacturer

If korvold had hit some1 be4 so 6 damage minimum then you untapped with this all it takes is 8 lands and nothing else and he kills the guy he already hit once
Really hope they start pushing the design with lands similar to the syndicate land cycle in future sets. I think there’s a need for a good mid-tier fetch land esque effect in Commander, something that’s budget friendly but isn’t completely outclassed by the fetch cycle. Maybe grabbing & playing an untapped basic? Or a tapped 2-type land?
I will say for Smuggler's Share, my cousin played it and it saw 0 impact against the other precon decks, I didn't draw any of the green ramp spells, only artifact ramp. Against a normal deck, it seems solid, better than the Monologue Tax from last year
Slip Through the Back works wonders with Marchesa, The Black Rose. Cast her, tap 1 to phase her out , she returns with her +1/+1 counter. Simple, ideal 👌🏿
The only time I played swan song was when it first came out in standard. I couldn't draw an answer for the 2/2 bird, which singlehandedly dealt 20 damage to me over the course of the game and killed me. In the pack I received for playing that game, the rare was Swan Song with the 2/2 bird token. I know its a good card, but won't play it out of spite.
Those new sac-lands combo with Bootlegger’s Stash, since you can play the land, put its ability on the stack, then tap for a treasure, then fetch. Same thing with Urborg or Yavimaya
In my opinion, Prosperous Partnership is going to be a bit of a sleeper. Three mana to get 2 bodies is already kinda okay but put in that it gives you a payoff for all those guys in token decks that aren't able to attack yet? Can see it being extra silly with some untap effects to generate infinite treasures. I myself used it with Saryth, the Viper's Fang to turn chump blockers into trades while netting treasures.
Bennie Bracks is a really good card for token heavy decks. It's noteworthy that it's not included in any of the precons. Long term I suspect Bennie will be a more valuable card than smuggler's share which I don't think is going to play that well.
I’m a newer player, I guess I am surprised white sounds like it needs helped. A solid 70% of the decks I play against are white or white green, lifegain decks with counters all over the place.
Question for the 'Diet Evolving Wilds' could you legally use Obscura Storefront in a Dimir deck? I'm not sure if the card qualifies as being in the commander's color identity since they don't actually use any mana symbols.

Bought 4 copies from "an offer you can't refuse". some people are not sure about that card, but come on. You are probably countering something with mana value 3 or greater anyway, so giving 2 temporary mana back is a small cost in return.
Yeah, I'm on board with the folks who think Smuggler's Stash is probably over hyped. It's powerful, yeah, but it's an effect that is arguably at-rate. It's no Great Henge, that's for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if the price falls a fair amount as people realize that it is hardly a "I play this and I win" card in the vast majority of decks. And y'all slept on Unlicensed Hearse? Repeatable GY hate? Colorless? Becomes a big beater potentially? C'mon.
Smugglers Share looks like just another Monologue Tax. Way overhyped but not very good. Cards like Smothering Tithe and Rhystic Study and Esper Sentinel are good because your opponents HAVE to play spells and draw cards. They don't have to draw extra cards or play extra lands in a turn. Way to easy for them to dance around this card's effect!

Bootleggers Stash looks bad to me. Unless you are playing token doublers like Parallel Lives or Anoited Procession it's going to be just a six mana Chromatic Lantern. Unless you specifically have treasure synergies, play pattern will be: Tap out for 6, do nothing else since it has such a high cost, maybe save up one treasure. Next turn, tap out and store your mana, either use or save it. Next turn, now finally you start getting some mana advantage from what you saved up. Ugh, that sounds AWFUL!
@@coreyhattaway8461 for sure some specific cards are great with this, but unless you have one of those out this is pretty bad. I usually want cards in my deck especially at 6 cmc or greater to have an immediate impact and be pretty good on their own.

I recommend trying smugglers share with monarch, as you can seriously reap the benefits of someone taking the crown from you.

Sometimes I’ll Arcane Denial my own spell to draw 3 cards. Mostly when I free-cast it with Mizzix’s Mastery or the like

You're kind of ignoring that discouraging people from playing ramp and draw spells is still worthwhile. Especially in mono white.

Best for me is definitely Lethal Scheme. 0 mana to kill a creature or planeswalker, draw and discard 4 times, and distribute +1/+1 counters? Good lord

White isn’t great at Card draw, but it is literally the best at ramping. Only green has more land ramp available. White does not need more land ramp.
