Resourceful Defense is way better than I thought when I made this video. I thought it soaked up counters and re-distributed them like The Ozolith, but it actually just transfers them from permanent-to-permanent, and you can manually activate it to move counters without waiting for a permanent to be destroyed.
I bought the obscura deck. So far I've played four games with it, and every single time I had a blast. I've consistently been able to give tivit doublestrike and faced decks without many fliers so I'm making at least 4 treasures and a bunch of clues every combat. Writ of return is my favorite card of the whole deck, I've gotten TONS of utility from it.
I normally don't comment on most of the videos I watch but I just had to say you are doing a great job with these videos I have been looking for a while for someone who is great at explaining these new commander decks and you did it perfectly to AT keep up the good work
im getting the Anhelo deck. Im adding Talrand sky summoner and Guttersnipe (imagine having mutiple Guttersnipes and then cast your spells) to the deck for sure! and that mono black creature from midnight hunt that gives you a free 2/2 zombie with decayed
@@AffinityforMTG do you know if these commanders will be a one and done printing? Midnight hunt and crimson vow we’re on shelves for months. Then Kamigawa came and it was a one and done. Did wizards change things up? With the promo packs I feel like there can’t be second waves like draft and set. Thanks!
Thank you I've been looking for this kind of review none of the other top youtubers Gave any relevant information except The cost of the cards which is useless cause I actually intend to play with them
Yeah, and a lot of times spell-doubling decks can be a little janky, but since Casualty is built into the commander it should be much more consistent. :)
Honestly I’m interested in play and building with almost all of them. Maybe a little less with the first deck, politics is fun and all, but at some point ya need to be able to win.
@@landongolds I might be biased by my commander group. But I’m just worried that mound of buffed tokens is just going to get wiped by a board clear before they get a turn to swing.
2 Cards that should have not been part of the commander decks - Declaration in stone - Sever the Bloodline Both exiles a creature plus cards with the same name :/ like really? and they're both Rares!!!

Nice! The deck definitely looks fun! :D

Great vid! I picked up the bant and jund, wasn't too sure about how the others worked. Thanks for saving us some time!
Glad I could help!
Love the video! I'm looking at Obscura Command and Riveteers Rampage.
Those are my 2 favorite, actually! I almost want to try a similar blitz deck in Standard after seeing the Riveteer deck.

I got Bedecked Brokers and Maestros Massacre as gifts 🥰🥰🥰
Have fun with Maestros, it's by far my favorite Commander deck.
You’re making me wanna get the double double double deck lmao this sounds like it will annoy my friends lmfao

Very strong, probably insane to keep track of everything.
Let me tell you, casting Army of the Damned and Clone Legion multiple times in a single game is insane.
I bought the Maestros deck and added a few things to it (like 4 extra turn spells >.> and some better token generators)
Wow, yeah, extra turn spells seem super powerful with that commander!
i will not be buying any of these, but i do appreciate your insight regarding these decks.
Great reviews
this was really helpful!!
Good to hear!
Keep up the good work man
Great video
Thanks, will do!
Great video dude!
Thanks!

I'd say that a board full of buffed tokens would do a pretty good job of winning

@@bryanarms788 Sad, but true
Great video
Thanks!
Kit kanto; I'm the token themed precon anhelo; are you sure about that?
But can Anhelo's deck double spells?
As it turns out, YES! :P

It’s very hard to support your local game store when all of their prices are so high
Great video! Now to find people to play with 🥲
That's the hard part! 🤔
