Having watched your channel since SOI standard you have DEFINITELY been doing some of your best work ever imo Dev. This spoiler season has been incredible and this and the sleepers vid were easily the best ones ever in my opinion. I laughed and lot and was extremely engaged beginning to end!

That FLASH Brutal Cathar is insane
Sadly lacks tribal synergy with Azorius Soldiers and White Humans, which are the only decks in Standard and Pioneer respectively that run Brutal Cathar.
Though I imagine, some Azorius Control decks might want to run it. Or possibly some sort of Knight Tribal, since we had tribal support in MotM.

Totally looking forward to B/x decks main boarding two shellys but running 2-3 of the tutor and just using blood tokens for the bargain effect. Yes im still salty they didnt ban the most broken four drop since questing beast

Having an ossification on field and then just copying the shit out of it and exiling all your opponent’s creatures and planeswalkers when they don’t see it coming is really fun!

I wonder if some kind of Abzan list is possible, stapling in Eriette too. Keep cloning Ossification over and over and then wham - opponent loses 5, you gain 5, and oof.

Dev love the top 25 and really has changed my mind about this set. I was feeling pretty mid about this set in my initial glance through the list. Now that i watched this video my brewer brain is getting pretty amped up.
26:46 genuinely loathe beseech. Like sheoldred and black control needing more consistency to find their toolbox pieces. Mono black 3 years in a row, very fun.
Surprisingly there's not much I disagree with. Only the order of the cards I guess.
Charming Scoundrel, I'm definitely not that high on. I wouldn't have it in my top 10 tbh. It's versatile and a fine creature but I just find it a tad boring. :) I mean it's just rummage, willy goblin or Feldon boredom. 😅 All ok-ish modes but nothing exciting imo.
I am a bit surprised you didn't include Shrouded Shepherd. We know how incredibly strong and format warping Goblin Chainwhirler was, and this is easier to splash. And if they don't play creatures then you can just run it out on turn 2 and pump your 1 drop to deal 4 damage.
A big part of Chainwhirlers strength came from the fact it was a first striking 3 attack body in a deck that played burn, shepherd doesn't seem bad but it's design inherently isnt as explosive or pushed, the advantage in combat goes away and the -1/-1 has to get skipped in order for the buff to hit early and be at its most relevant I think the chainwhirler comparison just doesn't hold up power level wise
Lord Skitter's Blessing seems interesting for my Braids deck. I don't have a lot of Auras to enable it (just the back half of Lantern Bearer), but it's nice that the Blessing sticks around to reduce the cost on my Geistlight Snares before eventually getting sacced to a Braids trigger.
I love Kellan, Fey Blooded for Commander (and he's showing up elsewhere) - you can put a tutor in the command zone! The adventure is Open the Armory but you can then maybe cast the 2/2 double strike creature after.

Hearth Elemental - Plunge into Winter - Sugar Rush and Quick Study the only cards that interests me in this new set :)

VERY surprised Three Blind Mice made the cut, and above Twining Twins at that. I don't see how that card is playable outside of limited.

Very good list definitely agree with most of these, however I would have tried to sneak in Cheeky House-Mouse, I think it is gonna be great card for an already strong mono white.

I think the red 2 drop you put at 11 and the black green 3/2 that comes back from graveyard are both my best picks in set.
I think that the adventure mechanic is just cracked.
The thing I like about Werefox bodygaurd is, besides being a removal spell at instant speed , is you can also use it to dodge board wipes or just standard removal spell. By being the target you exile the creature dodges most removal and if it was a board wipe then comes back immediately
That’s why it’s bodyguard. White aggro will rarely use it that way though. Nice to have the option anyway

I think Mosswood dreadknight has all the potential. I like him better than tenacious underdog because you can just spend the 2 mana to get him into an adventure and hold up or spend the rest on something else. Underdog always costs 4 for the upside of not having a window.

Dude, I'm right there with you in Hearth Elemental. Not only does this slot into my favorite jank deck ever (Dragon's Approach) it goes into any reanimator playing red. Hearth is my number one outside of standard card this set aside from the irengrag for commander.
Hearth Elemental could see play in modern burn. You can pay 2 and get more gas, then pay 1 for a 4/5. Insane!
Scalding Viper, now we can have 12 eidolon effects in modern burn. Hilarious 😂 😂😂

Hopeing beseech the mirror can be a shot in the arm for doom foretold in historic or pioneer, I really love the Dynamics of the card but the numbers on it just aren't good enough to reliably compete these days, it's not unplayable the deck will have its moments currently but it's not the most pleasant to lose a lot of games from not getting your synergy pieces, a lot of other cards from the set boost doom foretold so it's not just besiege but i think thats the big difference Maker
Three blind Mice is interedting in Anikthea, it can copy itself if you've exiled it with her etb. And it could in theory keep copying itself every turn. A mice token every turn and a buff to your army every other turn.

I already made a vintage storm deck with 4 beseech the mirror and 4 mizzix's mastery and 1 tendrils of agony. It requires a young pyromancer in play but seems fun

Cards like the Elf Archivist tell me that Wizards need something more.
Current cards either have "once each turn" and then they are unplayable or they don't have it and often are unprintable. Just imagine the elf with something like Dockside Extortionist....
We need something like "this ability can trigger at most 3 times in a turn".

Twining Twins really wants to live in Standard with Prototype creatures. not only does it un-prototype the creatures, but when Arcane Proxy casts the Adventure out of the graveyard, the Twining Twins go back to adventure exile to be cast again as creatures.
You cannot choose to cast the Adventure side Instant/Sorceries with effects like Arcane Proxy's ability, sadly. In the graveyard they're just Creatures (or whatever permanent they are).
I think Charming Scoundrel may be the best card printed for Big Red in the past decade.

I’m excited for this set. Idk if it’ll shake up like, top tier standard meta thaat much but maybe a couple add ins like lord ginger, beseech, scoundrel, black virtue etc.
Aside from that there’s nothing that looks super annoying to play against (except maybe sweeper and the reanimate everything card lol) which is a relief.
But lots of decent/good cards that will be fun build-arounds for tier 2-3 decks and yeah just lots of good but not OP cards.
Adventures so fun, limited draft at LGS will be fun, love bunnicorn and skitter.
