Agate and Chalcedony Rockhounding Elko Nevada

Agate, Chalcedony and it's finally not snowing! We head out to hunt through juniper covered hills for the best that Elko County has to offer.

Rock candy, yum! Beautiful location too. That one red piece looks almost like it has a pair of lips on it. That giant boulder is astounding! It would make a very cool yard rock

@rockworkfrogs I wish I was local! Elko has amazing opportunities. Found some cool fossils in the oil shale diggings south of town.But I only found small agates out there on Bullion, 3-4 miles out. Maybe I didn't go far enough?
