Holy shit, Larry is back at fighting weight. Looking good!
Well that does make sense, Larry alongside Chuck Norris is part of Americas strategic deterrent!
He looks like he can rejoin the Unit & kick some ass!
I thought the same thing, he's dropped a ton of weight and looking great. Well done Larry!
People were calling him fat, he called them out on it. He said he was gonna do something about it and he did.
@Tony01013.....I have a newfound respect for Mr. Vickers.
He did what a man is supposed to do. Not only did he acknowledge there was a problem, he said he'd address it, then followed through. That's what this country needs.
I absolutely adore Sellier & Bellot. They really do make fantastic ammo.
fawk yeah they do. my mosin and ak love it.
Nothing but quality when it comes to S&B. I have stuff from the 50's and still cycles perfectly.
Some of the cleanest and most consistent practice ammo in .45. acp and .38 sp and .380 I've used. Good quality ammunition.
Did he mention they make 3 million rounds a day of rifle and pistol?
I don't believe they did.
@1:41
...I don't think so. How many a day?
@@roggie77777 Are you sure?
;)
Yup, twice
Have used S&B fmj at the range for years and years without a single issue and often in my Czech-made CZ 75b. Excellent stuff.
Love how they didn’t show anything being made.
was prob part of the deal, considering its specific to their business
Cci shows everything .
Maybe you do not want to show all the details of the process, cuz competition...
why i disliked it. i was excited to watch it and felt let down. the federal plant video is much better
Found one of theirs semi detailed explanation.
ruclips.net/video/inhhyU_TOYI/видео.html
Great video Larry very nice ammo plant very modern.👍👍👍
I love it! I love S&B ammunition, Larry's accent comes from Pittsburgh area where I am from, and he's visiting Mike in the Czech Republic near where my family's from, outstanding!
My favorite brand of ammo
Smoothest stuff I’ve ever used, and it’s like candy when you handle it. Very smooth and refined
I love this format Larry...more tour like that! 👍🏻
Yeah I like the videos to be more around 10 minutes rather than 3-4 minutes by the way.
Spider agreed!
Waste of a trip if you ask me, literally saw nothing happen.
Waste of time!
Huge thank you! I've actually always wondered about these guys.
Constantly bringing high quality videos to all of us Larry, Thank you for your commitment to the firearms community!
I shoot tons of S&B here in Wisconsin and love the ammo very consistent with almost no failures. 9mm, 45 ACP and there 300 Blackout are excellent. S&B sub sonic 209 grain for the 300 black out is one of the best I have found when using it with my suppressor.
Thanks for doing this! I had no idea S&B was on this level of operation. Very cool!
Mike seems like a really cool guy. Sheds a whole new light on S&B for me. Keep the prices and quality in check and they will come.
Lmao they didn’t show anything.the “loading” segment didn’t show any loading just standing by some green machines and then it went to shipping..I’m not sure what the point of this was over than promo for s&b
trade secrets, people who work in the industry have keen eyes and can gleam important information, so its best to keep such information out of the private domain.
CCI did a much more involved video with 22 plinkster
@@blchfnby You can go to Sierra's facility for a tour and they will show you every step in detail, from raw material to shaping, loading, testing, inspecting, and packaging.
I'm pretty sure LAV got to see that part. He just couldn't FILM it.
@@blchfnby So what was the point in making this video then?
Looking good Larry. You look fit and healthy. I’m saving up for one of your classes. Nice video keep up the good work!!
Love their stuff, been using it for decades and never have a problem as long as I’m using S&B!
I cannot speak for anyone other than myself but I've fired a fair number of calibers, both rifle and pistols, using S&B ammo and can state without hesitation that I would NEVER feel undergunned or lacking when using S&B ammo or products. It's just that good.
Now this isn't to say that I prefer them over any other ammo manufacturer but bullet to bullet in any select caliber, S&B makes a large group of FINE products!
LAV, thank you for giving us an inside look at their facilities.
I could have watched this for about 8 hours! No kidding. What a fascinating plant! Thank you both.
Mr. Vickers, I wanted to mention an off topic. As you have served in a calling that takes physical abilities very soon, and weight being the result. So you are an endless encouragement, as even being broken and injured, you have figured out how to exercise and become peak shape looking. I saw your workout video, and the why I am fat clip. Yet nothing stands too high for you to achieve. Keep it up, and congratulations for the payoff of relentless persistence.
I bought a few boxes of 308 S&B at the range about a year ago and was really impressed.
I love their ammo! I use their 10mm stock. Great stuff. Thanks for the tour.
Love S&B ammo. Been shooting the 9mm 115gr in IDPA for about 10 years now with never a failure and now added the 45acp to that mix. Also have had great luck with the 12 ga. shotgun shells. Just a great product at a reasonable price.
Love seeing a vertically integrated company making every aspect of the product!
I’ve been shooting S&B for decades; it’s really excellent, top-quality ammunition. Thanks for this video, which I greatly enjoyed.
I love these factory tour videos! Nice to learn a little about the manufacturers of the products that we all use. I've never had any problems with their ammo and have shot quite a bit of it. Also don't mind supporting a company from the Czech republic. Good people!
I've been a hard core S&B fan since the early 90s; it's hard to beat. I reload most of what I shoot, but if I'm shooting something I don't reload for S&B is always my go-to ammo. Fantastic 12 gauge buckshot and slugs as well.
Dig it~ I’ve been buying their ammo since the early/mid 90’s. Loved their 8X57mm loads for my K98 and vz24
Thanks for the great tour LAV! Love these types of behind the scenes looks. ✌
I love these guys because they make ammo for every caliber I shoot, it's high quality and the price can't be beat.
I always thought this is a french or belgian business. Interestingly it was founded by a german of french origins in the czech republic.
And owned by CBC(Brazil) since 2009.
...and it´s biggest and oldest ammo factory in the world.
Why putting a comment, when you are clearly not familiar with the subject? Seriously, why?
The name does indeed suggest it's French.
I always pronounced it like [say-yare bell-o] lol. I was thinking thats a bit too fancy for an ammo company and turns out I was wrong its seller and belot
S&B is some of the best ammo I’ve ever seen or shot I use there .45 about 90% of the time and it is some of the cleanest ammo ever. I love it
Of all the Ammo brands I have shot over the years S&B is my favourite, Thanks for the video.
When I’m too lazy to hand load S&B 10mm has become a staple for me . Great stuff. Nice to see a factory coexisting with natural spaces.
Light on the details...
Proprietary methods probably prevent any close-ups or disclosures. I wondered the same thing... they spent 30 seconds in the production room!!!
@@paulthecpa2717 I'm not so sure about that. I've taken more than one tour of the Sierra bullet manufacturer plant and can tell you, even with "state of the art" machinery, there's PLENTY they could have shown in this video. Light on the details is an understatement. I was really excited when I clicked on this video, but by the time they made it into the packing facility I was super disappointed and just quit watching it.
@@paulthecpa2717 Wouldn't surprise me, around my area factory tours usually require signing an NDA.
Yea I was expecting a look at their reload press and how they measure/drop powder. How many total steps to create a specific round, etc.
@@FirearmTutorials it's time consuming but if you search of youtube "ammo manufacturing", "ammo crank press", etc and watch all those videos with just 600 views, etc you'll get a good idea. The individual steps can also be seen on Google Patents. If you look for ammo manufacture you'll see patents for how casings are made. Hell, there's the Olin patent for Black Talons on Google Patents.
S and B is all I use. I have shot well over 10,000 rounds of this stuff and never had a malfunction. It simply works. I enjoyed Larrys tour, and would like to visit Prague one day. Keep up the good work my friends, as I will continue to stack your products deep.
This video makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 🥰. I love you sellier & bellot and so does my wallet!😚
Big fan from Czech Republic here!
Yung Shai also a big fan from Canada and of CZ and the Czech Republic great gun makers craftsmen
I shoot their rounds, really like the product. This was a great 'story telling' video and those were great questions Larry.
Love these factory tours. More please.
@VickersTactical Larry, brother, looking great sir! Thank you for your service and the history lesson of this facility.
Great video I've been buying S&B 9mm and 5.56 whenever possible partly do to its being higher than average velocity and ft pounds of energy. Also out of all the 1,000+ rounds I've fired of their 9mm and 5.56 never once did i have a feeding, ejecting or misfire problem ! Awesome company !
Their 124 grain 9mm is really solid. I use it for competition and it is some of the most consistent ammunition I have ever shot.
I really enjoyed this Larry, I’d love to see more tour videos of various manufacturers!
I enjoy shooting S&B! I’d like
to see them load a 16 pellet #1 Buckshot in 12 gauge. Their 12 pellet #1 Buckshot is great but I miss those 4 extra .30cals doing damage.
Thanks Larry.
This place is beautiful...i love their brand
Top notch, thanks fellas. God Bless.
I would love to see a visit to Lapua of Finland. Extremely good ammo.
Finland for centrefire, Germany for rimfire.
I like the factory has a dedicated ground for wildlife to roam. Definitey would be a nice place to relax after listening to machines all day long, little bit of peace and quiet to finish your day
This was cool to see. A lot of these overseas mfrs have been kind of mysterious. I'd love to see a face to the name so to speak for a number of places, I.e. FB Radom, Arsenal Bulgaria, Cugir, Zastava, etc.
Great ammo love S&B. Thank you for picking up 6.5CM.
What do you run it in? So far all 6.5cm I've tried from them is GARBAGE
@@BossinDawson253 That's funny. What do you run it in?
Aero Precision M5 platforms, every kind they make, runs great with plenty of ammo types but never s&b
@@BossinDawson253 S&B 6.5cm shoots just sub MOA from my AIAX and Krieger barreled custom.
My Ruger Predator consistently prints sub MOA and they’re cases seem to hold up well with reloads at least for 6.5
Love the tour, I didn't realize they produced so many rounds per day.
Beautiful facility! I use a lot of S&B primers and shoot a lot of their ammo! Great quality all around!
You look so good, its so amazing to see your hard work paid off!
I'm a great fan of your products, particularly your shotshells, I can't make my own as well as what you folks make!! I really enjoyed this presentation!!
Looking good LAV!! Thanks for the tour.
Cool to see that side of s&b...Iv really been enjoying their budget 140gr 6.5 creed ammo. Fairly priced, and consistent for plinking.
Interesting video! Thanks Larry!
Nice thanks for sharing this with us.
That was really cool to see. I always wanted to see what goes into making my guns go boom.
I’ve used a lot of your primers and love them, never a misfire. I wish I could find some!
Some of the best ammo around.. Its super reliable and clean burning 👍
Thanks for showing, very interesting. They also make some very good ammo
Great video. Thanks Larry. Looking fit man!!!
S&B and Fiocchi are the two brands I look for first
Here in Italy Fiocchi supports gun control.
@@GhG76562 Wow, not cool
Canada also makes Fiocchi ammo, so you might buy lots that were assembled there.
@@Dake21 It doesn't really matter, it's a question of principles. When the EU was discussing the directive 477 (Eu gun ban) many gun rights group tried to contact Fiocchi, Beretta, Benelli, Pedersoli, Chiappa and all of them either sided with the directive or they didn't even bother replying to emails. After the gun ban passed people started to make groups like "I won't buy Italian guns and ammo ever again" so they got scared and released statements trying to calm people. It doesn't matter what Fiocchi USA or other Italian companies says, they will gladly do the opposite to gain market share. (Both in the US and especially here in the EU a complete "assault weapon" ban would make their market share grow exponentially.
Weirdly enough you don't see it on shelves anymore... I used to find it everywhere... Now i think about it I've only seen shotshell on shelves... Wanna bite the hand that feeds you then Fuck ya.
Looking good Larry. I'm trying to trim up myself. Great tour also.
Great and educational. Thanks for this
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing this tour!!
Holy shit, Larry looks great !
Awesome !!!
Lookin good Larry, keep up the great content!
I managed to visit the factory in November. What a setup
Love this ammo for Garand Food ..S&B factory thank you for your Awesome ammo. Merry Christmas to you
*LARRY YOU LOOK GREAT BUDDY! Tons of respect! Loved this tour*
Looking Great, Larry!
Thank you I’ve always wanted to see a video of this factory. I shoot a lot of their ammo.
I bought some Sellier & Bellot spce for my 7mm mag. I love it!
I have been shooting their 9mm 124gr FMJ Bulk Ammo (2000rd box with 8 x 250rd packages) for years. Very reliable, consistent and relatively clean shooting ammo for a decent price.
Thanks for the tour Larry! Congrats on your weight loss!!! You look healthy!
Wow that looks state of the art!!
that was an awsome video, A+
Bought a case of their 9 mm, and it is very high quality
Looks like a beautiful piece of art.
Very good video. Really liked how it's done
Interesting stuff. Thanks for the video!
thanks!!
Love this video! Great presentation Larry!!
Would love to see more factory tours. Would be really cool if you could take tours at some of the historic factories.
Came here from a daily ammo deal page at Ammoland! Enjoyed this video and I plan on buying Sellier & Bellot in bulk from now on... S&B has some really clean-firing ammo!!
Damn Larry looking good brother!
Great video. I hope to see more
Outstanding video as usual! S&B is a great company. The end section about the game preserve is most interesting.
One of the few manufacturers that makes a decent affordable round for the Garand! Thanks SNB!
Larry that was GREAT, younger I would shoot 1,000 rounds a weekend with my friends from our S.R.T./SWAT. I always shot S&B and never had a problem in any rifle or pistol I used in any weather condition .
Thank you for a excellent review of this plant.
Your friend in OREGON 🤠
Recently chronoed S&B 7.62 x 39 fmj ammo. Holy crap 2500+ fps and almost 1 moa from my AR15 build.
Bigbore what barrel length
Awesome video Larry, and looking good dude you look like you could get back in the game with Delta!
LAV living the dream! Thanks brother.
Very interesting. Thank you.
