There is a big difference between criticism and critical thinking. Critical thinking with God's help will make you prove all things but criticism can make a person more aware of himself a his idiology.

1. Seeking pleasure among those who don't fear God
2. Marrying an unbeliever
3. Tampering with things that you ought to denounce/reject
4. Reading infidel authors without critical evaluation and prayer
5. Intemperance (could be grouped together)
6. Indulgence of appetite (could be grouped together)
7. Sensual indulgence (could be grouped together)
8. Excusing selfishness, evil thinking or evil speaking
9. Cherishing evil
10. Unkind criticism
When grouping any or all of 5-7 you may get 8. 6 and 7 could all go under 5.
So it could be 8 ways or 10 ways.

Very good post my brethren. However i think what EG White was referring to concerning criticism is the actual NITPICKING of every little thing someone does as if you are judging them for not being absolutely/blemishlessly perfect. What we are seeing in our church are blatant departures from our foundational beliefs. And pastors are blatantly and openly indulging in these things yet most abdicate are silent.

I see what you mean by nitpicking. By dwelling on the faults of others we often develop those same faults within ourselves over time. By beholding we become changed.
@PastorFeagan i know some good pastors too . We all do. EG white also warns that we have more to fear from within than without. If yhats the case we oughto be on our guards from those within that are doing wrong and leading the flock and changing by theie actions the complexion of that church. Enough of them are in the church for us to be concerned and alarmed

Ellen white was not the one who said to spit out the seeds of error. It was Doug bachelor. SOP says don't read error period. To go to a worldly college is to go on Satan's ground.
The sda church is in apostasy. SOP says it so many times in so many ways. And you should really read Ezekiel chapter 8,9 and what Ellen white says. Only those that sigh and cry against the abomination in the church will receive the seal of God. Only!! She also calls the sda church the sister of babylon. You need to read more

😮 The SDA church condones adultery within church... I refused to have an affair with a married man with 2 kids from overseas... Now he is getting a divorce, he considers himself single and it's fine to have sex before marriage... The elders stated that he is a good man and are backing him up.
The SDA church does NOT condone adultery. Unrepentant adulterers are subject to church discipline and loss of membership. Its NOT acceptable to have sex BEFORE marriage. Elders should NOT support a person who is in active rebellion to God's commandments.

Just because a member of a certain church commits sin does not mean that the whole entire church condones it. People have struggles.
And we are to go to God with those struggles and ask for forgiveness and repent and through a relationship with Christ be cleansed from all unrighteousness. It's only through his power that we can overcome
What must a person do to be saved?
Invite Jesus into your life and build a relationship with him. Read His word and Pray for guidance and forgiveness of sin.
Ask Him to give you the desire to do His will. ❤

@Hebrews_412_KJV Satan is a believer, but he's not a follower. He doesn't submit/surrender to Christ Jesus.
We should have the Holy Spitit. We should have the fruits of the spirit, and if we have the Holy Spirit, out lives will look different. A relationship with God will naturally begin to sanctify you and you'll want to share the gospel with others.

@Hebrews_412_KJV you're trying to make me say something I don't mean, but from my understanding from more than just one verse, faith in Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit has a transformative work in our lives and if you don't see the fruits of the spirit in your life, and you aren't taking time to build a relationship with God, and you're not wanting to share the good news with others, there's something wrong.
Ultimately God is Judge and we will all stand before His throne and if we're not fully covered by the blood of Jesus, we will have to answer to every sin and idle thought.
Does Ellen White teach that Satan the Antichrist shows up first as Paul teaches in second Thessalonians 2 1 through 4 common that the whole world follows Satan Revelation 13:3 and verse 8.
Did Satan rides a white horse in Revelation 6:2 with a bow in his head bow is 5115 in the Greek a toxic Shekinah Glory rainbow only written one time so you know it's Satan.
Satan comes at the 6th Trump Revelation 6:12 and Revelation 13:18 Jesus Christ comes at the 7th Trump Revelation 19:11.
I went to 9 years of Seventh-day Adventist school and was not taught this then I went to many years of church and was not taught this when you read the word of God in the KJV Bible and study it with a strong concordance you can look up the words back in Greek in the new Testament and Hebrew and Aramaic in the Old Testament.
We're not supposed to read man's or woman's teachings in Traditions.

We are not living in the last days. What did Jesus say?
He said the END would come when the gospel is preached to all nations.
That's not happening, just the usual godless chaos of history.. There is a gospel about Christ that the devil endorses, and the vast majority of professing Christianity embraces, as the gospel.
Just ask what the gospel is, and you will get a lengthy, complicated need for a savior gospel, instead of the gospel Jesus said the gospel is.
If Mark 1:14-15, is not the gospel, even though he said gospel, the devil is a success.

You could not be farther from the truth. Jesus will return when his church reflects his character. He's waiting for us to have a relationship with him and to trust Him Through a daily surrendered , walk with him. @Cheryl-c3x Small problem. Has the end come, and Christ returned? You are correct, that a gospel has been preached, it's everywhere, and overwhelming, however, it's not the gospel Jesus taught, as the gospel.
You never noticed Jesus preached the gospel, before the teaching of salvation?
That's the slight, but Satan influenced error.
Paul, gospel. Acts 28:31. Gospel exactly as Christ, gospel first, matters concerning Christ secondary. The secondary has been replaced as primary, in the face of the sure word of Christ, as to the gospel. It's not splitting hairs, it's what's happened to the gospel. The simple, pushed aside in favor of the lengthy, complicated need for a savior gospel, which while true, is another gospel. A curse.

@@PastorFeagan I do understand some of SDA follow Jesus, but why when Jesus said he came to fulfilled the law, SDA create new law ? True faith we are saved . Why changing or adding things that are different from what Jesus was teaching ? I know some SDA that focus so much on going to church on Saturday, but the rest of the week they are manipulating, greedy and power craving people. Jesus is a Lord of the Sabbath, if he is our Lord so is not just on the Sabbath but everyday. Bible says , " Sabbath rest " in new testament not Sabbath day anymore. Rest in Jesus Christ each and every second of your life. Not just on the Sabbath day / Saturday. So if people focus on following the new law , they think is just by ticking the boxes they will be saved. God looks at the heart not at outside good deeds. ( they are important too, but they come naturally from the love that God put in us , from the peace that he gave us ,, so we automatically want to share that love buy being fruitful and sharing the gospel. )
It would be great if people stop following people who had dreams ,and actually focus on the word of God our Jesus Christ , and stop adding and creating new laws to follow. What food to eat , and all this things . Not what you put in your mouth but what comes out from your heart ,, Bible says . Read Bible everyday to hear God's word , encourage believers to read Bible , our daily bread so we don't go astray. Is not what Bible says ?? Many just pick verses but don't read from the beginning to the end ,and they so easily manipulated to belive in any new law that is created by people. That is not what Bible teaches . No! Respectfully, you are in error. NO one states that her books are holy. She is simply a messenger. People of her time were not reading the word of God and God raised her up to point people BACK to the word of God. She is the lesser light. Just like prophets of old...Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, John the Baptist...all pointed the people BACK to Jesus Christ.

Because what they will prophesied will not come to pass! What God says All will come to pass. So SDA how was is created ?? Roots are from Millerites right ? What was the prophecy ?? That Jesus will come in October 22 ,1844. And when it didn't happen SDA called it great disappointment. How then this is a true prophecy. Red flag from the beginning. And now E White point to Jesus , but people created church based on her " truth " not God's truth. Are we saved by Grace or by work ??? Law or by faith ? And all is now in the Bible ,available to all. So find the truth there,not in E. White and dont build church on her views . Or on "great disappointment ". Not having SDA or others churches, I'm happy people coming to get to know Jesus, but please don't change things or add things in the Bible. Seems like you are canonizing Ellen Whites writings. There is no truth in any 501 (c) 3 registered creature of the state. Take all cognitive dissonance out the path and learn that drinking from the living waters from the rock at Mount Horeb is the only way to salvation. Mount Sinai with all of its legal man made laws is sin and death. Of course like Yeshua Messiah we should be ready to answer any questions, he never ignored or walked away from any thing without an answer. In love.
