im finally ready to do my first customer in windshield chip repair. i really wish i had taken your course instead of the months of figuring it out myself. you give a phenomenal deal.
Christopher good info..have few questions. 1st..what if customer insurance doesn't cover rc?.2nd...whats the average insurance company pay to have these rc repair 3rd ...on average how long it take to get payed by the insurance company...thanks .have a wonderful day
If their insurance doesn’t cover WSR then usually they will just pay out of pocket. 60-100$ don’t hurt the bank compared to a windshield replacement. Usually insurance pays $60-$75 and it takes a couple weeks normally to get paid. But if you keep them consistent then it doesn’t make too much of a difference
@@salaschristopher Wait! I just added comprehensive to my new policy and my windshield most definitely needs to be replaced. I have to pay $200 more/mo for this. I think my deductible is the lowest I could get but I don’t really recall. How much is it to replace a broken windshield? I’m wondering if it’s really worth it or does it make more sense to pay out of pocket for replacing my windshield for a 2009 Mazda CX-7? Along with the broken windshield, I have dents and a smashed tail light.I had literally just drove my black , sexy, beautiful new car, home. I hadn’t even registered it yet . It is the first nice car I’d ever been able to afford and I was so proud. For less than 10 hours, I owned a beautiful car that I wasn’t going to be ashamed to drive. Before that, the most could possibly afford to spend on a car was less than $1000! I’d just gotten it home, parked it in the lot behind my apartment building, woke up the next day to find my brand new car had been vandalized by people in my home, because I didn’t see it I couldn’t prove it. My car looks like I’m a damn drunk driving around banging into everything. Comprehensive does cover vandalism so if I could get the body work done, it’s definitely worth keeping it for a while. This video actually helps me a lot as a customer because I didn’t know the process for initiating this process for the repair. I also like how you told us why we always get hooked up with Safelite or one of those other glass. companies. Being a small business owner, I would rather give my business to a struggling small business and then a huge glomerate that doesn’t work work. I’m actually gonna do a search for a local privately owned glass company to fix my windshield. Thanks for that.
My dad runs his own windshield business so I have all the tools and I have done stone ships for over three years now working with them, now I’m trying to do them on my own in a college town is a pop up tent with a banner a good plan of action?
Yea that perfect setup. Make sure code enforcer doesn't have issue with you setting up business like that. Some cities require permits and other stuff as well. Best to use business cards and car logo as well. What city are you trying for?
Thank god . Yeah I don’t mind doing a chip repair for that amount. I’m talking about windshield installation. Any idea how much they paying for those in FL? My idea was once I have everything set up that I could go and negotiate a flat rate for installations at $110 each. For insurance companies. If I’m not mistaken I used to work for a company and all they had was insurance jobs and the rate was set at $110 for installations

Hey what about autoglass replacement is it the same thing ? Instead of a chip repair?
I believe it’s similar but I don’t do replacements!
I’ve been waiting for this! Thank you!
Hope it helps bro!

What do you think about a third party CRM to handle the billing for you?
So I have to register with the TPAs and accept the rate they wanna set? Or can I just negotiate a flat rate with the insurance companies directly?
They pay what they pay. All are different but you dont negotiate price. Usually its $60-$80.
@@salaschristopher for installation or chip repair ?

What percentage of your jobs are insurance?
Most are out of pocket customers
This is not the case in FL, we get free windshields
Nothing is free. You are paying for those windshields with higher premiums whether you need one or not.
U charge more than when doing an insurance job
Yes, I charge $95 per chip
Gerber is no longer.
