Hi, I have learned so much from your channel! Thank you for creating these videos and teaching Korean! I appreciate and enjoy how positive and entertaining you are in how you teach! It makes learning a lot easier and it makes me feel comforted in knowing that there are positive and good people like you out in the world. You make the world a better place thru these videos and who you are! You are an Awesome teacher and person! 😊
Thank you K.U. for always making such special videos for us to learn the Korean language. Fun fact we always play Kpop during the lessons and for most of our students it has been the first time they heard Kpop and after a few weeks they start singing along to the songs 😅, anyways wish you an amazing lunar new year all the way from Katy, Texas.
Whilst I am far beyond this lesson now, there was a time where your lessons shaped the foundations of my Korean. This video reminded me just how brilliant your skills as a true teacher are, and it is a shame that you don't make more frequent lessons. Thanks for this one :) I am sure it will help many people understand batchim and sound rules.
Unnie, I need help with the difference in writing and spelling! Why does a character is pronounced as another one? And when does it happen? By the way, thanks for your videos, they're truly helpful ♡♡♡
I think there are many pronunciation rules in Korean that help things sound better or are easier to pronounce, at least that's what I've heard people say. But trying to memorize them all seems very daunting, so hopefully they just become natural for us all to know how to use them after hearing them used a lot.
Because of the way Korean grammar works it’s much harder for native English speakers as the grammar is so different. But Korean has one of the most simplest inconsistent alphabets, although there are exceptions. It’s more consistent in pronunciation in English.
But everything is easy once you learn it, right??!! I think Korean is difficult, but Sohyun does make it more fun to learn and helps it seem easy. I think she is really good at helping people believe they can learn it, no matter what level they are at at the time, and things like how she does the little story about the letters moving and the cute voice she uses help make it fun!
Another term for this or related for this topic is called 받침(batchim), which means Support or final consonant. 받침 originates from the word 받치다, which also means support. 받침 영상 주셔서 고맙습니다 한국 언니!

And I thought Korean was supposed to be easy😭
The easiest of the Asian languages, but no language is truly easy to learn
