I just bought this bad boy and it arrived yesterday! I cleaned my shower last night at 10 pm, had to see how well it worked! Never had more fun cleaning my shower! This thing is a beast!
I found your channel after searching this steamer and thoroughly enjoyed your review! I just received this steamer and was stressed thinking I had to put it together and let it sit for a day in the box while I searched for reviews. Thanks for this very helpful review. I'm ready to get to work with steaming now!
I just had this delivered! I’m so glad to see a video showing me how to use it! I have pet parrots so I can not use chemicals. This is such a great way to know I’m killing germs!
I just stumbled onto your channel while I was looking for reviews for cleaning products and tools. Finally, someone who uses products the way I will use the product and provides a detailed review of everything. I can't stand the formula, QVC type reviews. Will be watching many more reviews on your channel.
So glad that crayon came up easily. I’m excited to get one of these. We’re working on a new house that’s bigger than I’m used to cleaning and I’m gonna need something like this to keep up with it.
Thanks for this. I just bought the step up from this one and all the reviews I can find are for car detailing, which is great, but not my primary purchase reason. Very excited to get it and use it now.
I came across on my feed a survey that said does this name of my channel offend you, of course I SAID NO, THEN I SUBSCRIBED THANKS FOR DEMONSTRATING THIS.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I appreciate you showing the home uses for this machine. I was on the fence of just buying a Bissel floor steamer or this. I was afraid it would be bulky and hard to move around but with the cord and hose length you can reach a lot of area before having to move it. Also I can clean so much with it!
Thank, I think I am going to pick this one over the Bissell! I have both, but have to return one. Your vid made my choice educationally informed and easy!
Seems like this little machine is really good, and does everything. I love steam machine. I may have to get one of these, I have had smaller ones they didn’t last long at all, waste of money. This one can do so many things. Love it, thanks for demo for us.👍👍👍
If in a place like Germany where the water turns white or anywhere in America if that is a thing there...make sure you only use distilled water else you will be back tracking to clean up the white splotches left from the steam
Thank you, I'm new to the steam cleaners and recently got one, but I so far only know the grout attachment is for and doesn't know how and when to use the rest of the attachments. This has been so helpful!
Thank you soo much for making this video. I just bought the same steamer & needed to know how to properly use it. I wish it came with a carpet glider attachment though.
I noticed early on that you get a lot of water dripping every time you pull your trigger. You should have only steam coming out of the nozzle. There must be an issue with that model because my Wagner doesn’t drip like that.
@Clean Freak and Germaphobe. Thank you so much for this wonderful video. You are such a gracious helpful woman. I think I'm going to buy the unit you have. I have a double lung condition and my husband has one also. ♥️
I watched the whole video twice and maybe I've missed it twice but I don't recall you mentioning if it really does have the 90 minutes of continuous treatment.
That’s correct, it can break them. They have formulas that won’t clog up the machine. Put the vinegar on the surface and then use the machine to clean it.
They need to make pads for the larger attachments to clean with!!, i see so many adding a cloth with a rubber band because they dont offer the cloth that fits the square steamer attachments or the triangle one.
Does the machine need to have the water removed after use? Did you get 90 minutes of use after all? Do you get credit if we buy this through your channel. Thanks
Edit: went with the Dupray. Now, I'm having problems with dupray. Weak steam. Idk if it doesn't heat up water properly anymore because despite button showing water is heated, I get water mixed with steam. Would not recommend. It's only been a year. I've used this machine once every 2 months. Original: This or the Dupray? Trying to decide which is better (power and durability) Will use throughout the house. Which do you recommend more?
I wonder if any of the McCulloch products could be used for mattresses or couches? Could anyone speak to a steamer that could do this? This seems like for everything hard surface.
Our home is older. The previous home owners didn't seal the grout or travertine unfortunately. No matter how much we clean them (which is often) they don't stay clean. We are debating putting in different flooring verses a professional cleaning and sealing. Both are a lot of $$$
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe ~ Gurl! I SO feel you on this! Ours is the same. They did not seal the grout when they put the floor in. I don't know why. SMH. Honestly, I was glad to see you don't have a picture perfect house, but a well lived in and well loved one....like so many of us.
Thank you so much for this very thorough review! Although I'm still researching this type of machine, right now this one is the winner thanks to your review. I'm wondering if you can use this on a carpet, to disinfect it, with any of the attachments? P.S. I subscribed to your channel. 😍 Happy Holidays! 🍁🍂⛄🎄❄
I bought it specifically for pet stains (puppies). Although it works well on tile and flat surfaces, on carpeting/rugs it only seems to make the stain grow.
Great question. Try testing it first on a small area first. Don't get too close because the steam can burn fabric. Or use a cloth over the triangle tool because it will spread out the steam.
This unit does not come with a squeegee. If that is a deal breaker for you, here's a link to our review of the Dupray Neat steam cleaner. It is a terrific unit and does have a squeegee
Hello, can you attach the extensions to a small brush head to clean grout lines? I have a bad back and legs and can’t get on my hands & knees on the floor . TY
It can help clean it but overall it’s not great for stains. I’ve also tried a carpet cleaner. It does get dirt off and the water was dirty but most of the stains remained. We have mattress cleaning videos and that worked on almost everything. There are some stains that never came out which is why we always recommend a waterproof mattress protector. Or a new mattress.
I spilled coffee on my feather mattress topper and that's what I need it for too wonder if it would work. No dry cleaning stores left in our city so I'm stuck.
@Beast Mode My Neat does not drip. If you stop using steamer for a few minutes, condensation builds up in the hose. When I resume cleaning with it, I hold nozzle in bucket or on towel and spray to release the build up water until steam comes out. Only takes few seconds. But my Dupray Neat does not drip, that would drive me crazy. Ha
Hi, I have steam cleaner about 3 years, I have an issue no steam coming out, I waited to cool down the temperature, a lot of calcium coming out , what should I do please, any suggestions
Only thing stopping me from buying it is the plug? I live in england and our plugs and sockets and outputs are different? Any ideas on how i could get round this dont want a fire thanks

works nicely when you put in the 48 oz water and add 1/4 oz of rinseless car solution too.
What happens when ur using it and runs out of water ,or if u just need to add more water. Do you need to wait til is cool down or how do u know
It looks like there is no clothes steam head included. This unit seems like the Jack of all trades and I was surprised it was not included.

any updates on this machine?
Thanks mom :) I got four kids and they make a mess

Do you like the McCullough or the Bissell hand held better????
Love this product demo! Thank you !
For bathroom limescale cleaning, did you put vinegar into the machine together with water?
Usually you are not supposed to put anything else than water in those tanks.
That’s correct, it can break them. They have formulas that won’t clog up the machine. Put the vinegar on the surface and then use the machine to clean it.
Excellent! Very clear👍 what about uphostery and area rugs? Did you try with clorox?
Do you have the hand held bissel steam cleaner as well or will this one suffice? Can you use this to clean carpets?
What about cleaning the attachments after use?
Do you label toilet attachment? Counter? Etc
I have the bigger version of this and love it but HATE the fact that there isn’t a water level indicator

The unit has a locking mechanism. So no, you don't have keep pressing the trigger.
Can you still remove wallpaper with it?
Can this be used on fabric? Like a chair?

Why is there water constantly dripping? 13:19
And does the Dupray Neat do the same?
@Beast Mode My Neat does not drip. If you stop using steamer for a few minutes, condensation builds up in the hose. When I resume cleaning with it, I hold nozzle in bucket or on towel and spray to release the build up water until steam comes out. Only takes few seconds. But my Dupray Neat does not drip, that would drive me crazy. Ha

The other is a regular steam cleaner, and there may be more moisture when your clean.
Does the 1385 have the lock button feature
I have yet to see a video showing it clean stains off an area rug.
Would you recommend the McCulloch 1385 or the Dupray Neat better? I’m so torn!

Could you please also share that how we figure out, that there is not water left in the machine. Is there any sing for this .
Unfortunately there is not a water level indicator line, I wish it did. You basically know the water is out when it stops producing steam.

👍steam disinfects helps odors and no chemicals! It’s the temperature heat that kills germs so it should clean it😁
will this work for bed bugs
I believe it does..😊they hate heat so I’m 99.99%itwill..
But does it clean carpet stains?
The heat from the steam might be damaging to the fibers or glue. It would depend on the carpet.

If u can is there a way to turn the heat down so u dont damage the wood floors?
Not sure if this helps but I've seen people wrap a cloth around the steamer with a rubber band to clean sensitive materials like wood floors, the inner roof of your car, etc. 😊
