The reason the farm maps look so different is there was a generic fog that was omni present in the far distance throughout the map. This restricted your sight line and you weren't able to see clear across the map. If you were looking from one side of shack, past it, it would be smoggy and you couldn't see what was happening. They seem to have REMOVED this entire effect on these maps, which means you can now see across the ENTIRE map without a fog blocking you. So it feels very very different despite nothing actually really being changed.
I'm not a hug fan of the change, in some instances you can see edge props pop in and out that would've been hidden from the fog and overall makes the lighting a little too flat for my liking.

I'm still sad that his addons either affect zombies or eventually loose their effect due to there be no more Supply cases or you already at your max mutation. Even new licker's tonhue has maximum of 8 uses, and it'sa honestly sucks. I want more consistant effects for his tentacle
I wish they reworked his power with the Zombies too. If a Contaminated survivor dies, their corpse becomes a Zombie, adding more pressure to the remaining survivors.
Honestly I really think the hindered effect should apply to zombies as well. It feels really terrible having survivors exploit your own power to get a free speed boost with nearly no downside. Especially in end game which is really where Nemesis should be shining the most. This is a good step in the right direction for sure though.

the real issue isnt that Lickers tongue is gonna be like so good you absolutely have to use it.... its that the rest of his addons are still so utterly USELESS, that marvins blood and licker tongue are the only ones now that will consistently do anything at all. Tier 2 in 2 hits is insane, so marvins blood definitely needed. Lickers tongue just does more than any of his other addons. What on earth posessed them to not change the rest of his addons too, i have no clue. Like, all the zombie ones need to honestly be made partial basekit, zombies should at least be fast enough theyre annoying despite their AI and pathing being trash, and flashlights should not freakin work on them... they said they dont want flashlights working on killer powers(Wraith), so why tf Nemi hasnt been changed idk. Nemi was weak because he took so long to get going and had such a weak start to games. These changes make him so much more consistent, which is great... but I would prefer more viability to different kinds of builds and playstyles, rather than just forced to use two addons. They made knight not add-on dependent, and now made Nemi dependent on two specific addons. like... why can they not ever just do good change without a bad change at the same time?
Partially agree with most youve said here,whilst Marvin blood and lickers tongue are arguably his best,you can still play nemesis with a few different fun builds,but I agree, if what you're looking for is efficiency and consistency you will most likely be using these 2 addons I personally love to use zombie builds,or mess a little bit with undetectable(new gen mechanic wirh trail of torment works really nice with the undetectable addon)that being said,zombies definitely require some tweaking like the line of sight for zombie addons are totally useless,you're better going with perks that trigger loud notification and pair it with zombie movement speed if you wanna have any kind of consistency with them,but those together guarantee you'll get good value every single game with your zombie,I don't think I ever get matches with no hits,and they're always harassing people off of generators

Trapper, Myers, and Freddy are never going to see buffs and that's just the end of the story. Trapper is considered the first killer you'll ever play in DBD and they want trapper to be simple and effective against newer players since that's where he's going to see the most use. Myers & Freddy are introductory killers. Big names in horror that will draw players in. It's in BHVR's best interest to keep those 3 killers new player friendly by having easy and simple powers. The problem with easy & simple powers is that you can't have them be strong because then it'd be insanely oppressive in the hands of an actual skilled player. I'm also of the opinion that not every killer has to be viable at the highest level. It's perfectly okay for some killers to be much stronger than others by having their powers require mechanical mastery and those 3 killers have no mechanical mastery outside of basic killer mechanics (moon-walking for example).

Ive heard alot of discussion on this buff, saying that these changes arnt enough. I say that Behavior should add a limited time mode where they have a killer that is buffed with all the insane additions and see how that goes. 3X length tenticle whip, why not. just stupid things like that.
Nemesis is my first killer I learned to play when I bought the RE Collaboration bundle on steam, its fun killer to play and big RE fan so Im glad about the buff, they should buff the zombies as well and some of the addons.
1:08 Honestly, I really like the new Coldwind lighting (and the new lighting on the PTB in general). It makes Coldwind look less lovely, and less like it's a nice, sunny day. Makes it look more like dawn. Also, about the Nemi QoL updates (and the Singularity one a few weeks ago), BHVR has kinda been killin' it lately with these QoL things. I mean, it's what we've been asking for for a while, just little tweaks here and there to make the experience better. First with Billy, then Huntress (which tbh she didn't need AT ALL), then Singu, and now Dredge and Nemi. It's really nice to see them touching up on these killers that just needed a little bit of love to be in a good state.
Video idea. Don't know if it's been used in a while. Don't drop the soap legion. Basically my idea is drop their items with franklins demise. Get that new perk from vecna, weave attunement. Run an overwhelming presence to ensure they want to drop their items. Bartenders choice on the 4th perk. Heck with legion you can use the addon that acts as a franklins and sub for a different perk. Weave attunement will be wack and I'm pretty sure there is another perk that really hurts items while on the ground.
lol i had the same reaction going to the farm aswell, the uh house version is that thompson house? that one feels normal, a bit brighter, but MID WHICH HOLY LEE CARP i love it, there is stuff in the halls, like new junk in the middle and PALLETS, sometimes its downstairs and sometimes its up stairs a little bit too, my first impression was that the bottom hallways got loaded, and little change upstairs, but another match i had thought i was down stairs bc of the lay out of the hall, but ended up seeing a little less on the bottom ON THAT side of the map..so the RNG is real and amazing...a few other maps have a small change here and there too
They upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 not too long ago, which provides them with some pretty groundbreaking tools for overall graphic fidelity. I imagine they're tinkering around with these new tools to gradually upgrade the visuals.
12:28 Trapperrr Id say the jaws addons needs to be basekit so does trapper gloves and that addon where he can walk over his own traps. I think having him kinda op makes him way better to play and can finally compete with higher tier killers
I wish they'd have made his cooldown animation after destroying a pallet in t3 a little lower, these are good changes but it just feels like in chase they get a sizable amount of distance on you when trying to destroy a pallet.
I consider myself a nemmie main, tho I play multiple killers regularly. The only add-ons I feel are useful, are those that buff zombie speed and detection radius. Yes it can be nice to have mutation a little earlier, but once you've hit tier 3, it's useless. And it's not hard to reach tier 3 at base anyway. Extra hinder, potentially,, but honestly I would rather have extra free info around the map, which provides pressure, and potential damage. But to each their own of course.

Wish nemesis had a running power where if frabbed you with his tentacle he could punch you for 1 damage state and then hed throw them away so the survivor can still get away while neme goes through a lengthy animation as he roars, but keep his tentacle whip just swap the zombies for the sprint so he has more power which is the whole appral to me atleast to neme
Since their nerfing midwich for my Blight games I might try to main nemesis with these new buffs they took Blight hug techs and moon rushes away so I can’t meme around with Blight so going back to Nemesis sounds fun.

I'm not gonna call these buffs game changing for him HOWEVER I will say that I'm very happy with them. Just great base kit changes that are, hopefully, the start of good things for Nemesis. I'd love to see some changes to his addons. The only ones that are worth running (prior to the changes) are just generic buffs or nice but not exciting which kinda go hand in hand. Give us more zombies (with better AI), give him an RPG just for the heck of it, give him a Forth Tier that makes his Tentacle insta down after a lot of hits, just give us things that are exciting.

Nemesis is one of the funnest killers to play against mechanically - I'm glad they're making him stronger so he's not just in a slog of being stuck in first mutation for half the match if he has a bad start. Other killers can snowball way more, for way less.
actually ya know something i would like to see, thats not exactly COUNTERplay for the survivors but allows them to make some form of play that counters nemo,,,and I am a Nemo main umong a few others. if Nemesis had a very slow degradation of his power, meaning he would have to hit a zombie every once and a while when he cant find a survivor long enough so he doesnt drop down a stage in power...this should be pretty slow but also constant, otw a big cool down b4 it drops a little faster after a tentacle hit.. additionally this would force BHVR to give him one more zombie since he now needs to consume them a little bit. also long ago when the singularity was added in, I thought to my self how fucking useful it would be if wesker and Nemo boxes had a VERY slow regen timer TIED TO THE ITEM not removing the item from the chest, but once that item gets used up, i dunno 4 minutes later that one box regens, i think i found it most fair to have a SINGLE box at a time be able to regen, but if there are NO items remaining it causes issue, either one box starts going really fast(preferable the longest timer), but if its moments from completion it would be a little bad, so maybe every box has a really slow regen like i said, but when no items remain then ONE box is randomly chosen to become super fast regen and that way the remaining boxes timers are not messed with at all. now remember i am a nemo main and i WANT to face that, most games b4 this update, i found it almost to easy to get T3 and wreck teams, not to say i havent been demolished on more than a few occasions. but ive witnessed one player gobble all the syringes or sprays and just make it a total waste... lmfao once i remember on swamp some girl took the very first hit and dipped thru a window so i chased the other person down, b4 i even hooked them she used an item, i found her again, hit her, left, she used another, i downed someone else, and found her aGAIN just to leave and right away cured her self...all 3 ppl got off hook and started to rat her out...idr how many times i let her wiggle just to chase her down again...but her team did the final gens and were also being trolls to both of us the whole time with like body blocking her then flashliight saving...lmfao a great game i only killed her and forced them all out thru slugs as she took her final stage of hooks

I feel like it’s been way too strong that the antidotes don’t respawn even a single time, or just that there aren’t enough antidotes. If I play it right and one or two survivors play it wrong, I can get them all coughing easily and they have no way to fix it.
My only gripes with him now is zombie infects should give nemesis infect points and make infenction give a reason to get rid of outside of his m2 (i would say sum like 25% healing debuff or repair speed)

The fact Neme has only received 2 real changes since his initial release is criminal. 1. Basekit was buffed, so while holding T3 Tentacle, he moves from 3.8m/s to 4.0m/s 2. The changes made now in the PTB

I only wonder, did they buff brutal strength? Is there a reason why the choice to use it on nemesis? He’s already the best pallet breaker in the game with whip, so at best you save like a fraction of a tenth of a second on pallets. But as for gens, idk you still only save like 0.3 seconds or something like that per kick. So after 10-20 kicks you’re at best getting like 3-6 seconds back. Whereas you could just throw on eruption, overcharge, etc. to get much more value per gen kick.

@10:00 because, BHVR are wise and see that a perk being run 90% of the time meant it was OP so it needed to be nerfed....instead of....maybe critical thinking and realising that that indicated a lack of other perks.
I say this a near-nemi main who rarely, if ever, ran that perk :'D
I ran into a nemesis yesterday for the first time in my 5 days of playing, and the way he walks is kinda intimidating so i want to try him out at some point when i got a bit of cash to spare and now that he gets a little buff is lowkey nice timing for me
Imagine a addon that makes nemesis the freight train he is in the movie and game. Just allows him to walk through breakables but you get slowed momentarily
Wish nemesis had a running power where if frabbed you with his tentacle he could punch you for 1 damage state and then hed throw them away so the survivor can still get away while neme goes through a lengthy animation as he roars, but keep his tentacle whip just swap the zombies for the sprint so he has more power which is the whole appral to me atleast to neme
7 years later and I'm still waiting for Mikey to get buffed.

Since their nerfing midwich for my Blight games I might try to main nemesis with these new buffs they took Blight hug techs and moon rushes away so I can’t meme around with Blight so going back to Nemesis sounds fun.
As a Nemesis main I can admit this wasn't even necessary but I'll take it
Major W with the lighting change on Coldwind. It no longer feels like I'm staring directly into the sun.
An idea to buff oppression even more (not that it needs it now I hope) is to make it proc gen kicking perks like overcharge and call of brine, etc
Nemy finally got some love. Faster tier up was necessary, and woo Marvin's blood is finally good. The tongue, eh, at least it does something now, the previous version was an insult.
I dont see much of the hindered when it comes to base kit but these changes are much needed for this week killer

I'm not gonna call these buffs game changing for him HOWEVER I will say that I'm very happy with them. Just great base kit changes that are, hopefully, the start of good things for Nemesis. I'd love to see some changes to his addons. The only ones that are worth running (prior to the changes) are just generic buffs or nice but not exciting which kinda go hand in hand. Give us more zombies (with better AI), give him an RPG just for the heck of it, give him a Forth Tier that makes his Tentacle insta down after a lot of hits, just give us things that are exciting.

Nemesis is one of the funnest killers to play against mechanically - I'm glad they're making him stronger so he's not just in a slog of being stuck in first mutation for half the match if he has a bad start. Other killers can snowball way more, for way less.

I don't see this buff changing the fact that Marvin's blood is still like his best addon 2 hits on the same survivor to get tier 2 is amazing.
actually ya know something i would like to see, thats not exactly COUNTERplay for the survivors but allows them to make some form of play that counters nemo,,,and I am a Nemo main umong a few others.
if Nemesis had a very slow degradation of his power, meaning he would have to hit a zombie every once and a while when he cant find a survivor long enough so he doesnt drop down a stage in power...this should be pretty slow but also constant, otw a big cool down b4 it drops a little faster after a tentacle hit..
additionally this would force BHVR to give him one more zombie since he now needs to consume them a little bit. Kevin, Meg, aaaaand hmm Clark or Hughie?
also long ago when the singularity was added in, I thought to my self how fucking useful it would be if wesker and Nemo boxes had a VERY slow regen timer TIED TO THE ITEM not removing the item from the chest, but once that item gets used up, i dunno 4 minutes later that one box regens,
i think i found it most fair to have a SINGLE box at a time be able to regen, but if there are NO items remaining it causes issue, either one box starts going really fast(preferable the longest timer), but if its moments from completion it would be a little bad, so maybe every box has a really slow regen like i said, but when no items remain then ONE box is randomly chosen to become super fast regen and that way the remaining boxes timers are not messed with at all.
now remember i am a nemo main and i WANT to face that, most games b4 this update, i found it almost to easy to get T3 and wreck teams, not to say i havent been demolished on more than a few occasions. but ive witnessed one player gobble all the syringes or sprays and just make it a total waste...
lmfao once i remember on swamp some girl took the very first hit and dipped thru a window so i chased the other person down, b4 i even hooked them she used an item, i found her again, hit her, left, she used another, i downed someone else, and found her aGAIN just to leave and right away cured her self...all 3 ppl got off hook and started to rat her out...idr how many times i let her wiggle just to chase her down again...but her team did the final gens and were also being trolls to both of us the whole time with like body blocking her then flashliight saving...lmfao a great game i only killed her and forced them all out thru slugs as she took her final stage of hooks

Does anyone know If the hinder effect is on every whip, or just whips that originally contaminate ? Wasn’t sure if this incentivizes leaving yourself contaminated or not

now everyone can use the licker tongue decently. its not the best add on but coming from straight dumpster to usable is pretty good.
I feel like it’s been way too strong that the antidotes don’t respawn even a single time, or just that there aren’t enough antidotes. If I play it right and one or two survivors play it wrong, I can get them all coughing easily and they have no way to fix it.
Devs said that they are planning to add more day cycles to existing maps so mabye its a slight test?
My only gripes with him now is zombie infects should give nemesis infect points and make infenction give a reason to get rid of outside of his m2 (i would say sum like 25% healing debuff or repair speed)

The fact Neme has only received 2 real changes since his initial release is criminal.
1. Basekit was buffed, so while holding T3 Tentacle, he moves from 3.8m/s to 4.0m/s
2. The changes made now in the PTB

I only wonder, did they buff brutal strength? Is there a reason why the choice to use it on nemesis?
He’s already the best pallet breaker in the game with whip, so at best you save like a fraction of a tenth of a second on pallets. But as for gens, idk you still only save like 0.3 seconds or something like that per kick. So after 10-20 kicks you’re at best getting like 3-6 seconds back. Whereas you could just throw on eruption, overcharge, etc. to get much more value per gen kick.
