This thing sounds amazing. If it turns out to be reliable, this will be outstanding news for anyone owning guns within that family...it sure beats paying beaucoup bucks for a PSG-1 or MSG-90 trigger pack!
In all honesty, it already feels much nicer than a PSG1 trigger.....PSG1 trigger is kinda mushy in comparison but one item to note is that I do like the PSG1 wide trigger pad as opposed to this thinner profile trigger.....shooting will dictate further love or hate!!!! :)
I just got one of these HeckFire triggers for my SP5. Amazing trigger like you said it reminds me of my AR 2 stage trigger. When I first pulled the trigger I thought I had a binary trigger being so used to the normal SP5 trigger I shot 2 rounds multiple times until I got used to it lol. ITs a really nice trigger. the safety is going to take some getting used to being so easy to move I sometimes hit wrong and move straight up and down like you are removing it, my SP5 safety is very stiff and really only moves in 2 positions unless really trying. I installed in a spare trigger housing so I could move around easy between a couple guns.
I've been going crazy looking for an alternative trigger option for my ptr91 msg90 clone build, and this seems like the perfect option! I can't believe I'm just now hearing about them.
@@HKShootingwithDerekG Thanks. I'm debating between this and the MK3Firearms single-stage trigger job. Seems like the Timney and Springfield ones have a few issues here and there.
I saw your timney trigger video. Apparently you can’t use the T trigger in the SP5 lower (fbi grip) so people have to get the Magpul one. Will this Heckfire work in the factory SP5?
I have stuck with my goto trigger I’ve used for 10 years and am used to …..my teammates have been using the triggers to the tune of thousands and thousands of rounds without hiccup
Information about this trigger seems to have been removed from their website is what I meant. I would definitely be interested if it was available for purchase. I'm running their trigger in my Tavor, and it's amazing!
The upper receiver is the serialized part on a MP5 variant. You can swap the trigger housings to SEF or Navy pictogram if you desire. MP5K versions are different from MP5 and G3 housings. You’ll probably need a clipped and pinned version also.
The stock trigger is an excellent military trigger but a horrendous competition trigger. While there is much that can be done to reduce pull and reset, it is still nice to have options coming to market
Derek is the man!!! One day ill see him compete live and get an auto. Love the vids brother. Thank you for all you do in the HK world.
Thanks for the kind words
Trying to decide between this and the timney trigger
Looks like a good upgrade to Swedish and other G3s pressed into a DMR role (with Spuhr stock, etc).

I have 1000 rounds through mine. No hiccups of any kind.
@@HKShootingwithDerekG I bought this trigger with the intention of installing the psg1 boot on it.. if it doesn't fit I will FORCE IT XD

How did this end up running after the last year? I've been waiting to see more info and there still isn't much so I thought I'd ask for an update.

2 years later .... still loving this? Does it work with an SP5?
best after mkt trigger available

So.the heckfire is not working in my SD. Seems to be be catching on the hammer

Heckfire works in all housings…SF, SEF, Navy, Ambi etc
Hi Derek, cannot wait to try this. I presume from your comments that it will drop into my PTR 9R Rifle-PTR 608. Paul49
Yes it will
Would it fit the Ap5?
I am having trouble figuring out if this will work on my Century Arms AP5-M (MKE). I don't know if the lower would fit it. Can someone help?
Hey Derek-are you still enjoying these triggers?
Great trigger , yes
So if i Have a SEF lower or magpul lower...will this fit?
Yes
How does this compare to a bill Springfield trigger job?
from my direct experience, Bill's work can vary so that complicates things....this is a different animal....they are 2 different things entirely
FA version in the works?
Update on how this trigger is holding up?

Derek, what do you think is the best trigger pack or drop in trigger for the sP5K-pdw ?
Registered Pack!
@@HKShootingwithDerekG well yeah… besides that 🤣
Has anyone tried this trigger assembly in a SR9TC?
Shootingsight seems to have gone dark with this product, any insight on the situation?
My impression differs from yours

What is the registered/serialized part(s) on an MP5 clone?

Another Walmart advertisement.
Why mess w perfection on the mp5 by changing the trigger..ill keep mine as it is..
