I’m going to be honest, whenever I recommend NCT127, I always tell them to listen to their music with an open mind because they’re different, I fell in love with them because of that.
In the Fire Truck MV they seem to be protecting and watching over this girl throughout her whole life as she grows up and eventually it looks like they’re watching over her child(ren) and grandchild(ren) as well
My favorite part of watching anyone react to Firetruck is the reactor being like “why are they bullying this little girl? What’s happening??” and NCTzens being like “THEYRE HER GUARDIAN ANGELS!!!!”

When she grew up and as a company employee, she was in danger of leaking secrets, etc. Every time the girl encounters danger, NCT 127 will appear to solve the danger.
Honestly, I see what you think about releasing more low-key song as title track because the songs deserve it but the reason why they keep on releasing the hype songs it’s def because of the performance aspect of it, it’s what makes 127 DNA of them . They cares music to ather level . I like the art references like Mona Lisa & fact check like they infinite they can do any thing . I love nct 127 Batman signal & mitavers like doctor strange . The production team go insane. I enjoy this song much ❤

Their debut single is Get a guitar, yall should check them out as well as their other projects (Siren, memories). Also side note, in Superhuman you mentioned their voices together… on the Killing Voice video they’re singing a good range of their songs live and you can really see their talent and how well they can blend their voices together and harmonize. It’s super impressive! Plus you get to hear a lot of their songs you wouldn’t normally get to bc they don’t have music videos. It’s definitely worth the watch!

In "Firetruck" they are that girl's guardian angels "putting out fires" throughout her life that were trying to hurt or explode her life. If you go back to the middle of the song and look again at the retakes of when they sprayed water, you see what they were protecting her from. sabangcha means firetruck -the sandcastle had suddenly started to catch fire (maybe because of extreme heat idk) -in middle school they saved her from a fire/explosion that almost started in her chemistry class -in high school a jerk paid another guy to date her and probably dump her break her heart -at work in her office another co-worker was trying to either still her ideas or "plant" something on her computer. -at home with her husband and child they are putting an electrical fire that had started in a wall outlet behind her child -And in the end you see she became an older women who lived a long life and her guardian angels go on to proect her grandchild.

Jaehyun is the vocal you like. He is 127's lower tone vocal, but oddly he can also hit the highest note. Their main vocalists Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Haechan are off the charts amazing. No other group except other NCT unit vocalists can touch their vocals. And their lead vocalists, Jungwoo and Yuta would be main vocalists in any other kpop group. They're mad talented and their dance choreography is the hardest in their company - SM, and the performance is amazing and completely sychronized and sharp. The main rappers are Mark Lee and Taeyong. Johnny is a lead rapper, lead dancer, and sub vocalist.
Props the diversity of their discography but at the same time still sticking to the root of the noise sound for all of their title tracks. Not just new listener but even some of nctzen keep whining about how crazy and unlistenable their tt is. But NCT 127 arrogantly releasing even crazier then the previous. The slap of "You listen to me. I don't listen to you!" it's just 💯
I figured since you guys like skz so much you would enjoy 127 too. they don’t have much of a similar sound per se, but it’s common to see stays who like nct too (me included!) I think both groups have their own very distinct sound, some of the most unique and original groups in the industry.

nct has one of the most experimentally nice discography ! but if you want r&b funk goodness, i recommend reacting to nct dojaejung. theyre a vocal trio with a more classy feel than other nct units. theyre based of three members from nct 127 and their title track is 'perfume'. harmony goodness basically
NCT 127 are one of my all time faves group! They’re amazing. Some songs are def experimental but their vocals and raps are solid as hell. They’re so good. They also have another unit called NCT U, you should check out some of their songs, I think you’d def like them. There’s a song called 90s love and then another called Yestoday. Honestly anything NCT or WAYV is so good.

Thanks for reacting to 127 - my favorite group! They're so talented and their b-sides can be very different from the title tracks. That floppy disc scene was someone stealing something from the young woman's computer, trying to frame her at work, so 127 came and put out the fire (problem) for her. Nct 127 music is pretty different, experimental. They have a vibe specific to them just like skz. Nct as a whole has this experimental concept. The main group itself is nct and nct127 is one of their permanent subunit. They have currently 5 subunits in nct that's nct127,nct dream, nct u, wayv and nct dojaejung. Its a pretty big group. I hope you'll be able to check thème all out later. They're really good songs
NCT is from a company called SM. They are part of the BIG 3/4, which is what the fans in Korea call the biggest music companies in Korea. SM, JYP, YG, and now, HYBE (formally Big Hit). Each company concentrates on something, for SM its vocals and dancing. They have really good rappers, but it's not something they focus on to much. Now NCT as a whole is the largest boy group in k pop. All together there is 26 members with 5 sub units. Those sub units are NCT127, NCT U, NCT DREAM, WayV, and Riize (pronounced, Rise.) I know it's a lot to take in. And may I suggest you check out a guide. Not only will u get to know the members but they will explain the break down for each group. But for a quick explanation: NCT127; This is a fixed group with 9 members. They stay mainly with hip hop with experimenting with different sounds. NCT U; This is an ever changing group. Can have as little as 2 members (which they have, song is called "Baby Don't Stop" to all of the members, check out "Black on Black." They do stay mainly between 5 and 7 member however. They also have a new song called "Baggy Jeans." NCT Dream; this is also a fixed unit of 7 members. They are all the youngest. And they debuted with what I call Bubblegum music, which is why at first I couldn't listen to Dream. But over the years all have grown up and have changed their sound to be hip hop centric. Now Way V; this will be a fixed unit of also 7 (now at 6) members. All are from China, Thailand, and one is from Germany, but is still of Chinese descent. They are the Chinese members of NCT. They can't use the NCT letters due to copyright or something along those lines in China. Riize is brand new, debuted September 4th of this year with the song "Get a Guitar," This is also a fixed group with 7 members, seeing a pattern yet? However, in this group all are Korean except one, Shataro, who is from Japan and Anton, of Korean descent, but born and raised in the U.S. I know this can be very overwhelming at first, but trust me, it worth listening to each group. And getting to know each groups music, and members. May I suggest, go slow. Pick one group at a time and do what you did in this video, select several of their videos and you will get to see their progress. NCT is worth the time. I promise. But if it's overwhelming and you're not sure, no one will hate you...we get it. There is a hell of a lot of them. It took me 2 years to learn all of them, and I still don't know the whole of Riize yet. I hope some of this helped you out in one way or another. I apologize for such a long post. NCT Let me help out a bit. NCT (which stands for Neo Culture Technology) is a guy group under SM Entertainment which debuted in 2016. The thought behind the creation of the group is that they can be a group with potentially an unlimited number of members or units. There are currently 5 subunits of NCT and 27 members. The first unit to debut in April 2016 was NCT U with their song “7th Sense”. NCT U is the subunit which has a rotational roster, where the number of members and the members themselves depend on what the song calls for. For example, ‘7th Sense’ had 6 members on the song: Taeyong, Taeil, Jaehyun, Mark, Ten, and Doyoung. But other NCT U tracks include ‘Baby Don’t Stop’ which only has Taeyong and Ten and ‘Boss’ which had Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, WinWin, Jungwoo and Lucas. Any NCT member can be tapped for an NCT U song. As such, every NCT member is automatically a member of the subunit. With me so far? You don’t have to remember names, I’m just getting you familiar with them. In July 2016, NCT 127 debuted as the first fixed roster unit. There were 7 members at the time: Taeyong (the leader of 127 but also a big fixture in all NCT and SM along with ➡️), Mark, Jaehyun, Haechan, Yuta, Taeil and WinWin. Their debut song was ‘Firetruck’. In August 2016, NCT Dream debuted with the song ‘Chewing Gum’. They had the younger members, with an average age of 15. The members are Mark (yes from 127), Haechan (yes from 127), Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle, Jeno, and Renjun. In 2018 NCT released their first project for the entire group including all members, titled NCT 2018 Empathy. They also debuted 3 new members: Jungwoo, Lucas and Kun. The album included new NCT U tracks, NCT Dream tracks and NCT 127 tracks. The roster was 18 members. You can see them all together in the track NCT 2018: Black on Black. In later 2018 three new members were debuted in NCT: Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. Also in the last few months of the year, Jungwoo was added to NCT 127 and WinWin was removed to prepare for the debuting of a new subunit. The last day of 2018, WayV was announced as the newest fixed roster subunit, who would be operating from China. The members are Kun (the leader), WinWin, Ten (who was in the very first song but since was on hold. Ten is one of the top dancers in kpop. He was kept busy), Xiaojun, Hendery, Yangyang, and Lucas. They debuted in the middle of January 2019 with a Chinese version of 127’s ‘Regular’ and their song ‘Take Off’. October 2019, 4 members of NCT also became members of the supergroup SuperM which consists of members of NCT, EXO, and Taemin. They debuted in the US. And consist of Taemin, Taeyong, Mark, Lucas, Ten, Kai, and Baekhyun. In 2020, NCT once again came together to release a full group album, entitled ‘NCT 2020: Resonance’. The two-part album includes songs from all units and many NCT U songs, most notably ‘Make A Wish’, ‘90’s Love’ ‘From Home’ and ‘Work It’. Two new members were added to the roster, bringing the total to 23: Shotaro and Sungchan. They have not yet been placed in a subunit. NCT released a third full group album called NCT 2021 Universe: The 3rd Group Album. The song featuring all of NCT was “Beautiful”, however Lucas and WinWin did not take place in the song, video or the album. In 2022, we were told there were 3 more potential NCT members for a future unit that would have Sungchan and Shotaro but this isn’t definite. In May 2023, Lucas formally left WayV and NCT. Two weeks later, Shotaro and Sungchan left NCT to be in the group RIIZE. So there are now 20 members. In 2023, it was announced NCT would quit expanding with a final subunit which is created through the tv show NCT: LASTART. The confirmed members are Sion, Yushi, Riku, Sakuya, Daeyoung, and Ryo. This brings the end total of members to 26. Yes, they added more members. They started with 7 members then went to 9 then ten and back to 9. WinWin moved to NCT's Chinese unit, NCT WayV. That's a whole story and concept we can explain later. But as talented as they are they are equally funny, chaotic, entertaining, and hilarious. You should watch some of their content on NCT 127 RUclips account.

NCT is the biggest K-pop group, as in they have the most members(26). They’re split into a few different subunits. Altogether though they are NCT or NCT 2023(it’s NCT plus whatever year it is). Their subunits are NCT 127 with 9 members ranging from 23-29 years old, NCT Dream with 7 members ranging from 21-24(2 of which are also in NCT 127), WayV which is their Chinese subunit with 6 members ranging from 23-27, and their newest subunit NCT New Team or NCT Tokyo which is their Japanese subunit with 6 members ranging from 15-21 and this subunit hasn’t debuted yet but about to. Over all it’s 26 members. lol in most groups with subunits, the group as a whole such as Stray Kids is their main group and the subunits aren’t. But in NCT, the subunits are the main groups. They’re with their individual subunits way more than they’re with everyone else.

If you go back to the middle of the song and look again at the retakes of when they sprayed water, you see what they were protecting her from. sabangcha means firetruck
-the sandcastle had suddenly started to catch fire (maybe because of extreme heat idk)
-in middle school they saved her from a fire/explosion that almost started in her chemistry class
-in high school a jerk paid another guy to date her and probably dump her break her heart
-at work in her office another co-worker was trying to either still her ideas or "plant" something on her computer.
-at home with her husband and child they are putting an electrical fire that had started in a wall outlet behind her child
-And in the end you see she became an older women who lived a long life and her guardian angels go on to proect her grandchild.

Nobody is doing music like NCT and that's what I love about them. They're different and iconic!
Jaehyun is the vocal you like. He is 127's lower tone vocal, but oddly he can also hit the highest note. Their main vocalists Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Haechan are off the charts amazing. No other group except other NCT unit vocalists can touch their vocals. And their lead vocalists, Jungwoo and Yuta would be main vocalists in any other kpop group. They're mad talented and their dance choreography is the hardest in their company - SM, and the performance is amazing and completely sychronized and sharp. The main rappers are Mark Lee and Taeyong. Johnny is a lead rapper, lead dancer, and sub vocalist.

I figured since you guys like skz so much you would enjoy 127 too. they don’t have much of a similar sound per se, but it’s common to see stays who like nct too (me included!) I think both groups have their own very distinct sound, some of the most unique and original groups in the industry.
true, i love skz and nct. And their music. so unique. It’s sad how much hate they get for their music. Just because when music is more on the louder and experimental side, people find it bad. It’s sad, they have such good song. And people with boring taste hate them for it.
nct has one of the most experimentally nice discography ! but if you want r&b funk goodness, i recommend reacting to nct dojaejung. theyre a vocal trio with a more classy feel than other nct units. theyre based of three members from nct 127 and their title track is 'perfume'. harmony goodness basically
NCT 127 are one of my all time faves group! They’re amazing. Some songs are def experimental but their vocals and raps are solid as hell. They’re so good. They also have another unit called NCT U, you should check out some of their songs, I think you’d def like them. There’s a song called 90s love and then another called Yestoday. Honestly anything NCT or WAYV is so good.

Nct 127 music is pretty different, experimental. They have a vibe specific to them just like skz. Nct as a whole has this experimental concept. The main group itself is nct and nct127 is one of their permanent subunit. They have currently 5 subunits in nct that's nct127,nct dream, nct u, wayv and nct dojaejung. Its a pretty big group. I hope you'll be able to check thème all out later. They're really good songs
NCT is from a company called SM. They are part of the BIG 3/4, which is what the fans in Korea call the biggest music companies in Korea. SM, JYP, YG, and now, HYBE (formally Big Hit). Each company concentrates on something, for SM its vocals and dancing. They have really good rappers, but it's not something they focus on to much.
Now NCT as a whole is the largest boy group in k pop. All together there is 26 members with 5 sub units. Those sub units are NCT127, NCT U, NCT DREAM, WayV, and Riize (pronounced, Rise.)
I know it's a lot to take in. And may I suggest you check out a guide. Not only will u get to know the members but they will explain the break down for each group.
But for a quick explanation:
NCT127; This is a fixed group with 9 members. They stay mainly with hip hop with experimenting with different sounds.
NCT U; This is an ever changing group. Can have as little as 2 members (which they have, song is called "Baby Don't Stop" to all of the members, check out "Black on Black." They do stay mainly between 5 and 7 member however. They also have a new song called "Baggy Jeans."
NCT Dream; this is also a fixed unit of 7 members. They are all the youngest. And they debuted with what I call Bubblegum music, which is why at first I couldn't listen to Dream. But over the years all have grown up and have changed their sound to be hip hop centric.
Now Way V; this will be a fixed unit of also 7 (now at 6) members. All are from China, Thailand, and one is from Germany, but is still of Chinese descent. They are the Chinese members of NCT. They can't use the NCT letters due to copyright or something along those lines in China.
Riize is brand new, debuted September 4th of this year with the song "Get a Guitar," This is also a fixed group with 7 members, seeing a pattern yet? However, in this group all are Korean except one, Shataro, who is from Japan and Anton, of Korean descent, but born and raised in the U.S.
I know this can be very overwhelming at first, but trust me, it worth listening to each group. And getting to know each groups music, and members. May I suggest, go slow. Pick one group at a time and do what you did in this video, select several of their videos and you will get to see their progress. NCT is worth the time. I promise. But if it's overwhelming and you're not sure, no one will hate you...we get it. There is a hell of a lot of them. It took me 2 years to learn all of them, and I still don't know the whole of Riize yet.

Let me help out a bit.
NCT (which stands for Neo Culture Technology) is a guy group under SM Entertainment which debuted in 2016. The thought behind the creation of the group is that they can be a group with potentially an unlimited number of members or units. There are currently 5 subunits of NCT and 27 members. The first unit to debut in April 2016 was NCT U with their song “7th Sense”. NCT U is the subunit which has a rotational roster, where the number of members and the members themselves depend on what the song calls for. For example, ‘7th Sense’ had 6 members on the song: Taeyong, Taeil, Jaehyun, Mark, Ten, and Doyoung. But other NCT U tracks include ‘Baby Don’t Stop’ which only has Taeyong and Ten and ‘Boss’ which had Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, WinWin, Jungwoo and Lucas. Any NCT member can be tapped for an NCT U song. As such, every NCT member is automatically a member of the subunit.
With me so far? You don’t have to remember names, I’m just getting you familiar with them.
In July 2016, NCT 127 debuted as the first fixed roster unit. There were 7 members at the time: Taeyong (the leader of 127 but also a big fixture in all NCT and SM along with ➡️), Mark, Jaehyun, Haechan, Yuta, Taeil and WinWin. Their debut song was ‘Firetruck’.
In August 2016, NCT Dream debuted with the song ‘Chewing Gum’. They had the younger members, with an average age of 15. The members are Mark (yes from 127), Haechan (yes from 127), Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle, Jeno, and Renjun.
In 2018 NCT released their first project for the entire group including all members, titled NCT 2018 Empathy. They also debuted 3 new members: Jungwoo, Lucas and Kun. The album included new NCT U tracks, NCT Dream tracks and NCT 127 tracks. The roster was 18 members. You can see them all together in the track NCT 2018: Black on Black.
In later 2018 three new members were debuted in NCT: Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. Also in the last few months of the year, Jungwoo was added to NCT 127 and WinWin was removed to prepare for the debuting of a new subunit.
The last day of 2018, WayV was announced as the newest fixed roster subunit, who would be operating from China. The members are Kun (the leader), WinWin, Ten (who was in the very first song but since was on hold. Ten is one of the top dancers in kpop. He was kept busy), Xiaojun, Hendery, Yangyang, and Lucas. They debuted in the middle of January 2019 with a Chinese version of 127’s ‘Regular’ and their song ‘Take Off’.
October 2019, 4 members of NCT also became members of the supergroup SuperM which consists of members of NCT, EXO, and Taemin. They debuted in the US. And consist of Taemin, Taeyong, Mark, Lucas, Ten, Kai, and Baekhyun.
In 2020, NCT once again came together to release a full group album, entitled ‘NCT 2020: Resonance’. The two-part album includes songs from all units and many NCT U songs, most notably ‘Make A Wish’, ‘90’s Love’ ‘From Home’ and ‘Work It’. Two new members were added to the roster, bringing the total to 23: Shotaro and Sungchan. They have not yet been placed in a subunit. NCT released a third full group album called NCT 2021 Universe: The 3rd Group Album. The song featuring all of NCT was “Beautiful”, however Lucas and WinWin did not take place in the song, video or the album. In 2022, we were told there were 3 more potential NCT members for a future unit that would have Sungchan and Shotaro but this isn’t definite. In May 2023, Lucas formally left WayV and NCT. Two weeks later, Shotaro and Sungchan left NCT to be in the group RIIZE. So there are now 20 members. In 2023, it was announced NCT would quit expanding with a final subunit which is created through the tv show NCT: LASTART. The confirmed members are Sion, Yushi, Riku, Sakuya, Daeyoung, and Ryo. This brings the end total of members to 26.
So to sum up the current situation:
NCT - 5 subunits
NCT U: all 26 members
NCT 127: 9 members (Taeyong (leader), Mark, Johnny, Taeil, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Yuta, Jungwoo, and Haechan)

Yes, they added more members. They started with 7 members then went to 9 then ten and back to 9. WinWin moved to NCT's Chinese unit, NCT WayV. That's a whole story and concept we can explain later.

Their subunits are NCT 127 with 9 members ranging from 23-29 years old, NCT Dream with 7 members ranging from 21-24(2 of which are also in NCT 127), WayV which is their Chinese subunit with 6 members ranging from 23-27, and their newest subunit NCT New Team or NCT Tokyo which is their Japanese subunit with 6 members ranging from 15-21 and this subunit hasn’t debuted yet but about to.
Over all it’s 26 members. lol in most groups with subunits, the group as a whole such as Stray Kids is their main group and the subunits aren’t. But in NCT, the subunits are the main groups. They’re with their individual subunits way more than they’re with everyone else.
