    For the Stray Kids Maniac video......at the time it was choreographed, I believe Felix was dealing with a back injury and could not do some of the moves. So they choreo'd him in some parts, and out of other parts for that song. That's why you see him sometimes, and then he's walking out of view or standing to the side.
    In later performances after his back was healed, he could do the moves.

    Hi, Good reaction, ty. BTS practices 12-16 hrs per day choreo. Now that they have been doing this 10 yrs within a week or less they learn it all. The choreographer or a choreo team creates the choreo. Sometimes the members create it with staff sometimes the members add a part or change it. Jhope learns choreo in minutes while the others need an hour or more. JHope, Jimin, Jk, and V all have made or contributed to the choreo. Jin also made choreo for Spine breaker MV which u can see. Snorts. There are behind the scenes so u can see how BTS learned and grew. It was really hard in the beginning. There are bloopers for Dynamite. If u watch the other MVs. And i think Jimin messes up the choreo for the dance practice maybe for an award show. Can't remember it's been a while since i watched those.
    Super is great. Love the choreo. They practice for hours. This is really complicated. I suggest u try to watch a reaction by a choreographer. That is were u learn more. Hoshi and Dino make many of the choreography for the team with staff's help. If u watched the super long guide u would see short clips of this. So they have behind the scenes too that show that. I think they had 250 dancers in all. Wild.
    Can't Stop me is great song. Good group. Do u know that many of the boy bands know the girl group choreo too. Like there are vids of BTS members doing girl group choreo spot on. And Shinee member Key can slay too.
    Maniac choreo was cool. Lot's of parts were interesting and unique. Still not a fan of the song though. Not my vibe. For the MV they cut a lot of choreo out so u actually don't see it in full. U really have to watch the dance practice or a performance video to see more details.
    Shut Down is a good song. Nice choreo too. All the girls have been trainees and performing for years so they know what to do. And the other groups have performance videos for some of their songs too. U should watch those. Hugs. - -2019 ARMY NY USA 💜

    Honestly when blackpink were rookies, their choreo was a bit more intense. But as the years have gone by, they lean more towards the performance aspect rather than dance. So yeah some of their choreo isn’t difficult BUT it’s the attitude, swag, and charisma that sells it and makes it impossible to replicate by others

  • @spicykimbap99

      the theory that onces (twice fandom) have about them having separation anxiety it makes sense cuz they're always together, and when people spend so much time with someone they tend to start mirroring each other; start being synchronized
      edit; idk if my wording was correct, I'm having difficulties writing in english all of a sudden😭😭💀 but what I meant was for example when I spend let's say 3 consecutive days with my bsf we start acting as one person; say the same thing, move the same and even think the same to the point where we get freaked out and joke about the one copying the other

    So, for BTS- They have an in house choreographer named Son Sungdeuk, who now actually overseas all groups under HYBE - meaning he helps our here and there with everyone. But, when BTS were trainees he was still only a background dancer, he worked with Hobie/J-Hope and the two have been in charge of choreography for BTS since day one. J-hope will help choose, or be present when Mr. Son comes up with choreography, then J-Hope will help the other members learn it and he's changed certain parts if they end up being too risky, or are too much on everyone's bodies. And in some cases- Jin has actually taken part in choreographing 2-3 songs. One being Spine Breaker, he also helped with some choreo for go go, and I believe the third one was either Anpanman or Am I wrong. I think it was one of those two, he might have helped with others but these are the only ones I remember Jin saying he did help come up with choreo.
    Jimin has also taken part in some choreography choices but he's expressed his preference for having a professional/ Hobi do it. I look forward to the day Jimin does an entire routine himself. He has the talent, that's not a question. Hobi is the one who handles most of it, and he has done his own choreography before... after all J-hope is their Dance captain/leader/ performance leader for a reason.
    There are videos of J-Hope teaching/helping them with choreo. But Dance Practices are more for fans to just enjoy their idols or artists doing a run through of a full routine- usually once they have it all down.

    • @marshmallo1316

      lmao a whole lotta misinformation in this comment, none of the bts dance has ever been choreographed by jhope and songdeuk too has just credits 2 3 choreos. bts choreos are made by famous professional choreographers to whom the songs are sent and they present two to three different choreos for a single song and then they choose which one they want to take or combine them. songdeuk was just the performer director for bts.

    • @ARMYnotArmy
      @ARMYnotArmy Год назад +1

      First off, never said it was ONLY J-Hope and Mr. Son who choreographed. I think you skim read, which is okay. It's not a bit deal. But to clear that up- Jhope has even said in interviews that he will change the choreography, he also came up with Yoongi's choreo for one song on his tour, and as I mentioned Jimin has had input on choreo too, and Jin came up with choreo for two songs. I never said they don't use outside choreographers. They do, it's a well known fact that they do. But you just saw the bits about Jhope and Mr. Son and Jimin and Jin and thought- 'Nah, I'm going to claim this is all kinds of wrong.'
      Let me guess, you're the kind of fan who still thinks Tae gave up his spot as a rapper so Hobi could be a rapper, huh? lol.
      As for Mr. Son, he has choreographed a handful of songs. I never once said he choreographed all of them. Never, but you took it that way apparently. I'm sorry you misunderstood. Maybe English isn't your first language, I'm sorry I couldn't make it more clear for you.
      I'm also sorry if this comes off bitchy, it's really early in the morning and my filter is kind of off.
      I do appreciate your opinions, but no. I didn't misinform. Thanks again though 💜

    • @boohangyu_sunshine
      @boohangyu_sunshine Год назад +1

      Please don't spread misinformation, he does not oversee ALL groups under HYBE. Pledis (especially Seventeen) have their own team/choreographers, including the members themselves. And Hybe Japan (home to &TEAM) also have their own (Eg: Sakura Inoue).
      Him choreographing for BTS and maybe TXT (mainly bighit artists) does not equal him choreographing for ALL Hybe groups.

    • @ARMYnotArmy
      @ARMYnotArmy Год назад

      @@boohangyu_sunshine He does work with them. He's not the one giving them choreo - especially for seventeen, Hoshi and others come with their choreo right? Or was I misled there? I'm still new to seventeen so I'm not 100% on who they've worked with/who their performance director is.
      I should have worded that better, when I say he oversees, it doesn't mean he is the main guy who does everyone's choreo. Think like a supporting overall performance directior. It's why he's the one who gets chosen to judge and critique new groups. He's the main guy. If any choreo/performance director in any of the labels need help- he's the dude they go to. Maybe I should have worded it that way. He checks in with others, critiques when needed or wanted. Right now his focus is on the Geffen x HYBE group.
      Oversee does not mean in direct charge of. Think of it like.. He's each groups performance director's boss, so he's their boss's boss. Like that. I'll try to reword it from now on since some people seem to get confused. I thought it was explained well enough but I guess the word oversee throws people off. Sorry about that.
      Thank you for bringing it to my attention 💜

    • @boohangyu_sunshine
      @boohangyu_sunshine Год назад

      I am not entirely disagreeing with you, because I do not know what he does for the other artists and groups under HYBE. But for Seventeen (Pledis artist as a whole) and &TEAM he is not their choreographer or performance director. He literally has zero say in these group's choreography and performance.
      I am VERY familiar with Seventeen (been their fan since predebut) and Seventeen does in fact have their own choreographers (the main ones being Hoshi, Dino, and Choi Youngjun) and their own performance director (Yoon Hyelim). Son Sungdeuk has literally NEVER choreographed for Seventeen or any Pledis artists, he has never worked with them at all. Surprisingly enough, despite being a judge on &AUDITION (the show that &TEAM was formed from), he has not choreographed for &TEAM either, or even oversees their performances, that responsibility is left to Sakura Inoue (the group's performance director). Sakura was also the one who actually choreographed the performances you see on &.AUDITION, in which Son Sungdeuk took no part in, as he was just simply a judge on the show.
      @@ARMYnotArmy
      [EDIT] - Son Sungdeuk is also not their boss (as in the 'head performance director' of ALL performance directors in HYBE or associated with HYBE) these sub-labels of Hybe literally work independently (or at least are meant to according to HYBE). Yes, they may share staffs sometimes, or even producers, but for the most part, each label has its own bosses, each label has its own CEOs, their own in-house music producers, and also their own performance directors who oversee the artists' performances under a specific label. Sometimes, even the groups themselves will have their own designated performance director, like, for instance, both Seventeen and Fromis_9 have their own performance directors signed to them. Seventeen's is Yoon Hyelim while Fromis_9 is Min Kyung-Shin. Also, I just searched it up, and Son Sungdeuk isn't even BTS's only performance Director, there is also someone by name of Lee Byung Eun.
      To simply put it (please keep in mind each label in meant to work independently from each other), each label have their own designated and assigned choreographers and performance directors, who work separately and independently from other choreographers and performance directors in other labels.
      [BIGHIT]
      Son Sungdeuk - BTS's Choreographer & Performance Director
      Lee Byung Eun - BTS's other Performance Director
      [Pledis]
      YOON Hyelim - Seventeen's MAIN Performance Director (She is also the head of Pledis's Performance Directing team, everything is overseen by her and she doesn't answer to anyone else but the Pledis CEO of course)
      Choi Youngjun - Seventeen's go-to Choreographer and has worked with many other VERY popular groups, but Seventeen is his main group.
      Hoshi & Dino - Both were very involved and in-charged of making choreography for the group earlier in the group's career.
      Min Kyung Shjnv - She is Fromis_9 Performance director.
      [HYBE Labels Japan]
      Sakura Inoue - &TEAM's Performance Director who sometimes choreographs for the group (but &TEAM uses outside choreographers, especially for their latest comeback)
      [Source Music]
      Park Soyeon 'Amy' - Le Sserafim's main Performance Director (but just like &TEAM, the group uses outside choreographers (like Todd Williams) to make their choreography)
      [ADOR]
      Kim Eun-ju - NewJean's Main Performance Director and choreographer, and she was actually originally Source Music's head Performance Director (basically she was originally in the same position as Yoon Hyelim is for Pledis but for Source Music) and oversaw Gfriend's performances.
      [KOZ]
      I couldn't find anything in particular, but for Boynextdoor's latest comeback they worked with Block B's Performance Director Kim Hyeong-Hun.

    Yeah, a quick thing to learn is that in Kpop, "dance practice" actually just means watching the full choreo in their dance room. Sometimes they're casual like they had actually been practicing before that, but most of the time they're pretty produced (like clothes are coordinated and makeup is done).
    It used to be the video they filmed after a day of practicing the dance, and just decided to release to the public. But over the years, the "dance practice video" concept got hugely popular and became this instead. Videos of groups actually practicing won't be labelled "dance practice" but would come out in a vlog of some sort.

    For kpop in general it's a group of hired choreographers who prepare the choreo, then come to teach the group. But with BTS it's a bit different, everything comes through Son Sungdeuk - their dance teacher, choreographer and performance director who grew with them from broke bighit and staying one of their closest people for 12 years he became a millionaire. And also Hoseok - j-hope contribute a lot, especially with directing

    Before even to debut as an artist or kpop group. They had to train for 3- 5 years as a teenager straight 6-8 hrs a day + school 8 hours. So 16 hours they are basically not home.on average as a teenager, hence why its easy for them to pick up on dancing and being in sync. They train for so long when they were kids by the agency. Even if they are born talent singers, they still need to learn how to also dance. Singing talent alone isn’t enough to become one

    Blackpink literally have a camera that no one else in the world has because their dance videos and music videos are something else. Also, their shut down dance video looks even more high quality because it’s titled performance video. They tend to go all out with quality and camera effects on these. They don’t always release “performance videos” for every song. For example, they just released a regular dance practice for their song Pink Venom

    Blackpink always gets backlash on their “easy choreo” but that’s just the chorus part. There’s a reason why their songs also go viral on tiktok because even the grandmas can dance the chorus. They just won choreography of the year in VMAs for that reason. Their choreo is for everyone.

    If you guys want to see the bloopers behind the dance practice videos I recommend looking at their "Behind the Scenes" content for dance videos! Dance practices in Kpop usually refers just to the Final Cut of their choreography without errors, meanwhile the behind the scenes of these practices show them learning the dance, making errors, and getting tired.

  • @armygang1304
    @armygang1304 Год назад +1

    The point of the dance practice videos are for you to get a better look at the dance itself. Something you can’t really get from the MVs or concerts because of all of the cuts. However if you want to see the mistakes and behind the scenes type things, there are different videos for that. For bts, you can see some of those things in their Bangtan bomb videos.

    They don't have many videos of them "learning" the dances. There are some making of MV's or behind the scenes that show them practicing more and learning some. You also watched one of the easiest choreographies BTS has done. You really need to react to their dance practice for, Blood Sweat and Tears, Fake Love, Danger, Boy In Love, Black Swan, and Fire, just for starters, lol. This practice does not come close to their talent and hard work. And contrary to what other are saying, BTS are the kings of synchronization and uniqueness. They have paved the way for the others to look up to or strive to compare with. And that has been said or shown by these other groups themselves. Just like when BTS first started they wanted to be as good or popular as some of the groups before them. And, in my opinion, other groups do not have the same difficulty, closeness, or originality in their songs or dances. Again I said in my opinion, so people can just not bother to jump my shit, lol 💜💜💜

    Why do people always pick butter or dynamite and not even the dance break version? like these are so chill (obviously they're still good) and they don't do their talents justice unlike on, mic drop, fire, blood sweat and tears, not today, run bts, dionysus and btw there are videos of learning the choreo .
    As for Felix I believe he was injured so he wasn't participating as much.
    And for shut down, it looks nice because it's a dance performance not a practice. Those always look more nice because, well it's a performance. It even says in the title.

He has given shout outs to many reactors in multiple livestreams before, unfortunately he stopped his weekly livestream for the meantime. But in a message platform, he recently has told stays that he watched social path reactions and he almost cried bc how stays relate to the song lyrics, he wrote the song based on his personal experience.
    Felix was injured when they were promoting maniac that's why he didn't dance much. You definitely should check out more dance practice videos, usually they do more than one version, the normal one then a special version for fun.
