That whole CD of the red devils - "king king" is fantastic you can't listen to it without sitting still Quarter to twelve = pure soul melting harmonica playing Better cut it out = where does he get the air from... This cd is a must have
Thank you for sharing this blues riff lesson. I really enjoyed it and you did a good job on working it through. It’s been some time since you did this but this old piece really deserves to be kept alive.
Will hello, how are you? I'm from Brazil and I really like your videos and how you transmits his teachings, thank you! I also like Lester Butler, he was great harmonica player, do not you think? ... He had a lot of good music, when you can teach a few more of them I and all who follow you on youtube would greatly appreciate it. Big hug my friend and all the best for you! J.Francisco ps: sorry if the translation is not good ... I used the google translator.
wow!!....was just listening to RED DEVILS "KING KING" the other week and thinkin how good it would be if u did tutorial!!!!!......and there it is......excellent!!!!......still would like to hear GOIN UP COUNTRY flute intro translated!!......cheers Will1
What key is the song "Night" played in. The youtube video is titled Lester Butler's last gig, tract 1 live at Moulin. Would love to know how to play the main lick that is repeated throughout the song. Thanks
Pspisripoff I'm not sure what you mean by that. I use standard diatonic harmonicas. The terms "Straight harp" and "Cross harp" just refer to what position you are playing it in (Straight being 1st position, and cross being 2nd position)
yeah, but for Lee oskars there are actualy sets of harps,,, straight harps and cross harps, which got me confused in shop, i bought straight harp in key of A and i couldnt bend -2 and -3 well, i filled like whole lungs with air for bend to sound, meybe its just supposed to be that way with low tone harmonikas, or it just was not the best brand to buy.. I have my suzuki blues master C, its air tigh. I asume if they are making "straight harps" and "cross harps" then they are kinda adjusting them more for bends or something...?
