The versatility of granny squares *20 free patterns* (for beginners & intermediate)

I’m always shocked when people say that they don’t like granny squares so I thought I’d prove to you all how versatile they truly are. There are so many reasons why I love them; they’re great for using scraps, projects are usually very quick to complete, great for when you’re on the go, there are infinite colour combos and aesthetics and they just give me a massive serotonin boost. So hopefully I can change your mind if you don’t usually like granny squares and give some inspo to all those who already love making them! 💖✨

Making a large crochet project for night festival wear. I was thinking of an open cardigan with a hood and maybe scarf extension ? What kind of yarn would you suggest?
