A lot of the comments on this video are centred towards that. A good example is Idles. They sure as hell aren't working class but does this fact therefore take away from the message they're trying to portray? I dont think so.
Don't understand how he doesn't have a dublin accent when he's not singing and does when he is. Loved the band up until this interview posh frauds. Hes British for all you irish fans out there.
They sound like they couldn't be arsed to be there and hungover, also nice to see an all male band with an actual good singer for once oh wait he sounds horrendous, male entitlement is a great talent in itself. They went to the same music school as me and they were so unfriendly and completely up themselves, if you said hi to them, they'd just avoid you. I can't understand their appeal at all, people's taste levels nowadays are very questionable. An all female band would never get away with such little vocal prowess and charm! Maybe stick to poetry if you have 0 talent as a singer, my poor ears plus at least try and look engaged in an interview!
It seems you are not familiar with Post-Punk. Their sound is quite representative of that genre in a good way. Anyway, if you can't stand this band,. I can already assume that you don't like or don't know who Joy Division is. An influential band of their time, in which this band took inspiration from. And what the hell is this male entitlement BS? Have you heard of the band called Warpaint? An all female band with a vocal prowess that matched to this band and they are quite successful doing it as well. Also, Courtney Barnett, whose vocal prowess is very similar to this guy and yet she is also successful. Heck, Patti Smith. A living legend whose vocal prowess is also on the same vein as this guy.
