- It's been a TON of work in a short amount of time but it's safe to say that: I'm exhausted and the finish line is finally in sight.
Welcome to episode 4 of the series where I attempt to rebuild "The Dutchman's Den", the perfect space solely dedicated to my love for cycling.
In this episode we get all the walls completely done. I start by sheeting the framed walls with OSB. Next after a few steps in the wrong direction, we get the walls completely painted. After the paint dried I was able to get all the barn wood planking installed on the accent wall. Then I installed both doors and completed the trim. Lastly I installed a few more lights to finish all the goals I set for episode 4.

Majorly jealous! The wall looks fantastic - nice work JT! Can't wait to see the finished product 😎
Clearly lots of work, but worth it, it turned out great.
Looks great!
Dude the den is looking steezy mcsteezerson!!! Love the look
Looking great! Super inspiring.
When you’re done that there a few things my wife would like done around the house. Haha! Looks awesome!!!
Looking amazing
Looks great JT. Pulling for you brotha! I can't wait to see the final product.
looks awesome!
You remind me of Josh from Daily Mountain Bike Rider, which is a great thing
Amazing JT! Money and time well spent; it's gorgeous! Love the SR Suntour T-Shirt cameo...great for doing projects and then for cleaning bikes!
As soon as you said $4,800 I was tracking with your sendoff-- "that's another bike, man" -- I think of any expense in bike increments now. 2-3 bike projects are the worst.
It looks awesome!
You could have bought SRAM AXS for all those bikes!
Where did you get the prestained planks?
Did you use a primer on the OSB before you put your final color down? I’ve heard OSB can be very absorbent. I’m working on a shop and I have not got to paint yet. Just curious.
