This was a sooo good! Only critique, after hearing about Oswald and Oswi (I thought they were father and son not brothers lol) and Oswi killing Penda then marrying Edwins daughter is a real life romance...there should be merch on this!! And on Abbess Hild too. I'd join English heritage if they did this. Anglo-Saxon history rules! Why is it so hidden!??

No problem Rob! I’d definitely recommend a visit, it’s a beautiful place to have a wander around, but Whitby’s a great place in itself. Amazing fish and chips there!

While visiting Whitby Abbey in 2016, I took a massive shit in the on-site public toilets. It was such monster, that I lifted it out of the toilet bowl, and after waiting until the coast was clear, I carefully 'displayed' it in one of the hand washing basins, then wrote a note on a piece of shit paper, that said, "Look at my lovely Mr. Whippy", and lovingly placed it next to the shit.

The home of Dracula is not in Whitby, sorry guys.
The home of Dracula is in Romania 🇷🇴 exactly in Castle Bran.👏👍Here was just the person who wrote the book of Dracula.

      Yes, and no.
In short; the character, Count Dracula, and the person he was based on (Vlad Dracul) called Transylvania, Romania their home; but Whitby is the home of 'Dracula' the story.
