I decided to make a cheap intake to replace the restrictive and ugly airbox. A butt dyno says I gained power but I will get a real dyno done later on and we can compare.
I did my dyi intake almost the exact same way, and I definitely notice some extra power especially around the 3k to 4k rpm range. Also for the noise I only hear it during i would say 75% to 100% throttle action.
I will be taking the car to the dyno once I decat it in a future video. I do want to see if the torque curve has changed from stock. Thanks for watching the video too :)

Where did you get the plastic adapter piece ??

Are you going to heat wrap the headers?
I was going to but doing some research, I found out that heat wrapping can lead to the headers corroding quicker.
