I'm a Teri Garr fan. Especially her work in Star Trek and Frankenstein. I don't know if she's reading fan mail anymore, but I've been trying to find out how to get a letter to her. Had no luck with old agents of hers. Or her social media fan clubs. I keep forgetting she had issues with obsessive fans or something like that years ago. That's probably the obstacle. Awesome lady, no matter what. Would be nice to thank her for her work and how she had a positive impact on my relatiosnhip with my Mom. If I never get the letter out, I will trust she has faith in the spirit of the work she's done. True artist.
I was very taken with Teri Garr during the Letterman years, and realize now much more so what a delightful, witty, and beautiful soul she is- so charming! She played the ditz in all things, including interviews, but was far from that.
I cannot believe she is in her early 40s here. She looks so young. The 2 movies John mentioned were billed in 85/86.. She was born 1944. The year now is 2024.. boy she was very yummy
Even though it wouldn’t be until 2002 that Teri would finally disclose her MS diagnosis, it’s pretty clear in this interview that she was already having symptoms. 😔😔
Johnny Carson seems particularly hostile in this video. What is it about Teri Garr that got him on edge? You know how Carson met his wife. A woman walked down onto his private beach and paraded around in her swimsuit until he came down and chatted with her. The rest they say is history.
@@gastronomist Why would she get a Letterman video if she did not die? That is what the channel does. A celebrity dies, and they release a video from the show of that celebrity.

That will be tough. A friend of mine married a very famous comedian and she pretty much acts like I'm dead. Famous people tend to be paranoid.
She has MS -- for MANY years. She basically quit working as an actress.
I just love Teri Garr. She's so charming.
lovely. why can't we all just stay young?
She was great in After Hours Martin Scorsese film

This poor women was always getting hit on by every talk show host. lol
They don't make them like Teri Garr and Johnny Carson anymore.
Coy, sultry and naughty. Normally I'm a brunette man, but Teri was special.

As if his wife didn’t know where she was.
Do you have any more Teri Garr appearances?
This is all I have for now.

Did Teri Garr die?
She has MS but I haven't heard anything about her dying.
