James Stacey had a very troubled life after this. He lost both a leg and arm in a motorcyle accident in the 70's and wound up in prison for molesting an 11 year old girl and stalking. Sad.

The highlight of this was Joni Lyman singing "King of the Mountain" backed by the Nooney Rickett 4. Supposedly this was going to be released on Colpix records but never saw the light of day. What a shame because it was a great tune and she had a nice voice. I sure wish we could return to this time. The 1950's and 60's were sure the best ever.

I loved the 'A Team' in the 80's and I still love it now in 2024.

How could they not have had her replace Johnny who stayed too long anyway? He was just a shell of the way he was the first 10 or so years of hosting The Tonight Show. Johnny never had a show this funny and he stooped to giggling at his guests' unfunny remarks the last few years. Joan had to like guests like The Hulk and Charles because she didn't have to say or do anything.

Now, 50 years later, I can relate 😂
