Teri is pure gold dust - a rare breed that always makes me laugh & keep smiling. Just a lovely woman. An inspiring human being. The years of joy that she has given us is immeasurable. And I, like everyone else, always thought she and Dave should have wound up together. I was lucky to have met her when she was way ahead of her M.S. and promoting her autobiography, "Speed Bumps". I think of her often, because I have friends who are still fighting this insidious illness, and Teri has gone through so much - too damned much. I pray that there is a cure today that also reverses the damage that the illness has done. Teri Garr will always be in my prayers & I wish that Teri, her family and loved ones enjoy something beautiful together in every day. She's really one of the good ones. As per her suggestion in this interview, if I did meet her in an airport, I'd surely be able to tun through her entire IMDB, give her a hug, let het know how loved she is, and be on my way. 💜 Teri! PS: Teri deserved Supporting Actress for "Tootsie". Her co-star's performance was listless & anemic. Teri was as good as Dustin, Bill & Durning, (& often, better than them) in that classic film. She/*Sandy" stole every scene that she was in. ✨
Every interview she gives exudes her lovely warm and funny personality, she is self effacing yet a no nonsense person. The most engaging female actress on youtube
Wow she is so smart! You can tell she is a big thinker. I bet she has a high IQ. She deserved more pay than those guys on Sonny and Cher. A truly talented actor.
Re: celebrities when they're recognized in public. It's an odd thing, actually: because of where I live, I've run across many actors in public and their responses vary. If you act like you don't care, they sometimes stare at you as if wanting to be recognized and then look almost put off when you show no reaction. Some of them like to be recognized, some PRETEND they don't like being recognized, and some actually hate it (leaving you to wonder why they got into show business to begin with if they thought they'd get famous without being recognized!). I usually tell myself I don't give a shit, but sometimes regret it. I once stood next to the late Peter Falk on a street corner, where he briefly told me abt the movie he just saw and disliked. I only said a couple of words - can't recall what - and then we parted ways. I've kicked myself since, because he's one of my favorites and I blew my chance to tell him. I guess I thought I was "above it all", but I was being an idiot. He was SO nice. It's all abt being self-conscious and it cuts both ways.
What a great discovery! Young Bobby was a fan, but he was clearly out of his element with this firecracker wit and intelligence. Terri was decades ahead of her time.
She's wrong about Gleason. Her boomer prejudice is showing. There's nothing wrong with being a show biz giant and loving every minute of it. Would she say that about Lucille Ball? I bet not.
Teri Garr: If you read this stuff know that some of us still love and are wishing you the best life possible.

I LOVE Teri Garr!
Who doesn't?!
Now in 2024, we are all in a strange netherworld.
...God...I love this women...my favorite actress...
Terri Garr is so awesome. 😍
Such highs, and so many struggles for Terri. So happy she always had a good attitude
She taught Al Pacino to drive to get ready for his role in Bobby Deerfield.

She’s got the same vibe as Johnny Depp
What Knockers
I agree, perfectly preportioned from head to toe. A stunner!
Bob never came up to Teri's level in this one. He was AA to her MLB.
