The way Brian majestically flops down looks both extremely painful and effortless at the same time. I also admire his control of not moving or laughing while Karen is casually slapping his face at the end. This man is a legend (so is Karen).

That flop is extremely reminiscent of Hugh Laurie's flop on A bit of Fry and Laurie Football Coach sketch where he nearly broke his own neck. Plz look it up on this site, it's quite something.
Karen's delivery of "Oh he's for sure dead" followed by 100 slaps killed me
Depending on who you ask, it was either 53 or 68 slaps.
One more slap and it'd be either 54 or 69. 54 is 6 times 9, and 69 looks like vultures circling their prey

I've gotten less than 4 hours of sleep each night for the past week and this resonates on a deeply spiritual level that words cannot express
Right? I've had a similar experience and damn, the feverishness of it all really made me question if my body isn't failing to stay awake while watching this, the sound design especially contributed to this.

You start getting to that stage where reality feels distorted and driving becomes a legitimate risk because you're having to be like "c'mon, we can get home, you can do this" and keep hitting the rumble strip.

having the sleep mask cover his eyes mid-jump on his one-way ticket to snoozetown was some great subtle editing
also love that the way she checks if he's dead is to feel if he's breathing through his nose.
Because of how often he's been seen filming his content, Brian can walk around town any time of day or night with full confidence that not only is he never going to be mugged or hassled, he's never going to even be approached by people for fear they might end up in the midst of some hallucinatory song and dance number about the years budget deficit.
He even doesn't get stopped by the police if he accidentally runs a red light.

absolutely love the tiny detail that happens between the one way ticket shot and the falling shot at 0:41. The mask actually changes to be over his eyes, under his glasses.
The subtitles are also incredible accurate, the correct number of "ha" when Brian laughs and the correct number of slaps (53). actually after recounting I have the feeling that there are more than 53 slaps

For real though, it’s so aggravating when you’re trying to change your sleep habits and your brain does everything within its power to stop you.

Try Use bed only for sleep or intimacy.
Avoid caffeine after lunchtime.
Avoid alcohol in late evenings, as it reduces sleep quality.
Keep room dark and cool.
Get regular exercise, but avoid heavy exercise in the late evening.
Avoid screen time in the evening.
Go to bed only when sleepy.
If you cannot fall asleep within 20 minutes, go to another room and do relaxing activities such as reading, but avoid screen time and avoid rewarding activities such as housework.
Limit naps during the day.
Set a regular sleep schedule.
Avoid late night snacks.
had this issue for so many years, it was getting pretty severe and its especially agony with adhd. would highly recommend trying melatonin gummies if u havent. just a small dose, like 1-3 mg. doesnt work for everyone but for me it was huge
i put something with audio on in the background (tv, youtube, music, etc.) and just lie there until i fall asleep. it works _much_ faster than not having anything to listen to/think about, but i definitely don’t think it'd work for everyone.

The amount of excitement I get from every new BDG video is growing exponentially. Also, this is more relatable than any piece of media I've seen in multiple years.
And when I say that its relatable, I mean that this is what I think about when I'm in BDG's situation: tucked in, 10:30, mind's racing', etc.
Little did I know that I would have severe issues with sleeping after this came out, the weirdest part is I'm watching it for the first time right now at 10:30pm trying to sleep
