Don’t prune your suckers! You can get SOOOO much more fruit if you leave them

- Here’s why I keep the suckers:
🍅I like more fruit, not bigger fruit
🍅larger fruit is more likely to not survive in my garden 😫
🍅I like really bushy vines crawling up the arch trellis
🍅I tried it and it worked so well I didn’t want to go back
The good news?
There’s no wrong way to do it-
Pinch the suckers if you want bigger fruit, keep the suckers if you want more fruit.
Or try both and see which method you prefer!
And while you’re at it-

I used your method this year and have a load of tomatoes, even in this ridiculous heart we're having.
I started doing this because I trust you 🤣… I do still root a few suckers and have new plants!
Hmm interesting! So its getting what it can from the small leaves on top after you take those other leaves off below the suckers?
I had never pinched off suckers and my tomatoes (in rows of six to 12 in a 12' row) and my tomatoes bush out like a hedge!
This is the first time I have ever heard this recommendation. Nice!!!!
I will have to try this! Bc like you I want more not bigger! 😊
I just pruned all the suckers 😫 but I'm going to go back for the leaves and hopefully some more will sprout over the summer
I do the same! I want tomatoes not leaves!
I do the same.
Are cucumbers similar to prune?
I do the same thing and grow so many tomatoes I can’t keep up with them.
