The Dodge Demon 170's Devilish Price

The Demon 170 basically one-ups every other muscle car out there, Chevrolet COPO Camaro included, for being the craziest thing you can drive right out of a showroom onto the street. The Demon 170's price is although not unexpected, really high: $96,666. The fully-reworked 6.2-liter HEMI V8 is now up to 1,025 hp and 945 lb-ft torque. The Demon 170 has been tuned to make those insane numbers on E85, unlike the previous Demon that needed race gas. Like the original SRT Demon though (though that ban has since been revoked), it’s already technically banned by NHRA competition rules for being too quick for its own good. Specifically, the Demon 170 has cracked the sub-9 second quarter mile threshold as certified by the NHRA - and it’s a street car with no roll cage and parachute! But just how does the Challenger Demon 170 get there?
