  • There’s no better way to send off an iconic sports car like the Dodge Challenger - perhaps the last gas-powered Dodge sports car ever - than with something so crazy you have to sign a waiver when you buy one. Cars.com Road Test Editor Brian Normile is checking out that craziness, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, six years after the first Challenger Demon debuted here at the New York Auto Show.
The 2023 Challenger SRT Demon 170 makes up to 1,025 horsepower in its max-power configuration when running on high-octane E85 ethanol fuel, and is said to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds on its way to an 8.91-second quarter-mile at over 151 mph. Like the previous Demon, the Demon 170 is hyper-focused on quarter-mile drag racing, and to be able to run at those speeds at some tracks you’ll also need to equip the Demon 170 with its available parachute, which deploys to slow the car at 150-mph-plus speeds, as well as a safety roll cage.
We’re getting our first look at this not-so-little-devil at the 2023 New York International Auto Show. Let’s check it out.

To bad it's not a legit price.without mark ups ,cause the factory list price is what we should pay.and maybe affordable for most.really sucks for people who have been saving for a dream car.
