I just finished the Ryujin quest line, and it was one of the best BGS faction questline IMO. Its sad that we didn't get any questline like this in Cyberpunk 2077, it would have fit the setting perfectly, in general a Cyberpunk game with the sandbox approach of a BGS game would be amazing.
It's up there with oblivion quests. Easily better than fo4 and Skyrim factions.
Do the UC faction quest next, its amazing too
Brother, that was the first quest I wanted to do since my character just became unemployeed and going from a long hauler to a killing machine does not fit in my character' story, but I worked customer service for 10 years in my life, so I felt extreme rejection to having to go in to my 9-5 in a videogame haha
Just a few tips...
1) You can get a UC Military Cutlass at either the UC surplus store in The Well at New Atlantis or at the offical UC supplier at New Atlantis
2) The easiest way to get rid of illegal contraband is to sell it to the Trade Authority at The Den in the Wolf system...it's where I go after I "liberate" a ship from someone because they don't scan you and you can sell contraband and other ill gotten gains.
3) You have to register the "liberated" ship to get rid of the bhodies and get it back to a clean interior. Until you register the ship. the interior stays a crime scene.
This game but Star Wars, how is that a hard concept for Disney

The Neon Artifact quest was siiiiiick. Getting the security and door controls before the meeting made me feel like such a badass
Been playing starfield all week and I've barely made a dent in the story. I've just been exploring and doing side quests. It's overwhelming how much there is to do
I’ve just hit that point in the game where it’s just… amazing. I’m just loving this world they’ve made

Melee builds are super fun to me in this kind of game, especially when you master the zig zag dodge or boost pack down onto enemies and slice them up with the wakizashi
concealment's last perk is chameleon without having to have it on your gear
Starfield is very much like Fallout 4 in space.
Nothing bad about that plus this game proves little bit upon a lot of the features that that game had making it more enjoyable The quests in this game are fun as well, the main quest is not that great but it's ok

Melee feels really satisfying in this game which is vast improvement to other Bethesda titles. It's a shame that there are so few melee weapons in the game.
Really? Past games like Skyrim and Fallout how stealth kill executions, kill cams and dismemberments. You could duel wield or two hander weapons and cut off limbs and heads - plus mechanics like VATS enable you to string kills together where you could hack away multiple enemies in combo's.
I used to love baseball batting raiders heads off.
Starfield melee has regressed completely. All weapons swing the same, you can't mod them and there's no unique fun one-of-a-kind weapons.
Even unarmed in Fallout had unique powerfists.
@@luchi850 I agree with you about all that, I was more talking about the "feel" of hitting people with melee. It's hard to explain, but in Skyrim it always felt like you're slashing paper to me because there's very little indicator of physical resistance to your attacks. Fallout 4 did it pretty well, I forgot about that one for a second lol.
@driskollh8938 i definitely think you're right in terms of how it impacts feel. It may be less complex but the game feel is amazing
Wait until you get a "Sentinel" suit (75% chance to reduce incoming damage by 50% while standing still)
Then a helmet and pack that reduces incoming damage from ranged weapons by 15%, each...
Really helpful for Melee, on Very Hard, I can take on 1v4 with my blade which "Damage gets greater the more you hit"
I literally 1 hit the 3rd and 4th, and we're talking level 20-30 people.

it is fun playing melee when you already have unlocked starborn powers. i usually used creators peace and the enemies would just drop their weapons 😂😂

Melee goes from super hard to outrageously overpowered in this game.
I wasnt expecting much but I was hoping they took a few things from Outer World. It was just one thing and even felt little weird but the dodge/dash in that game made all the difference for melee builds to me.
I completely forgot there was a dodge system! That gane had such an interesting premise but just couldn't get it going in my opinion

The amount of options and the amount of stuff you can do but it has ok gun play and the story is ok, but besides that it's really fun
The variety of melee weapons in this game is just sad
Unlike Skyrim the weight of your equipment plays a HUGE role in detectability. So stealth assassin builds with melee weapons are much harder in this game.

Find melee weapon with titanium build maybe. Makss weapons light weight. Not sure if it can be on melee or not

It's so funny to watch this play through because it's like watching an exact recap of what I did
I found a sick katana during the Ryujin quest, in the gang headquarters (i forget what they're called, Seonguh or whatever). I had to steal it, sell it, and buy it back to untag it as stolen. It's really nice, and if I do a Ronin play, I'm doing Ryujin to get to it.

Theres a tanto blade you can get at some shops that would probably fit the character better haven't come across a full sword yet hopefully they add one or mods add one
having played a ton on my other save i feel like there’s tantos everywhere! i actually searched so many shops while recording this video and could not find it. my only guess is maybe it doesn’t appear until a certain level
theres a katana you can get called the syndicate enforcer, find franks bar and pickpocket the woman bartender and open the door, explore the area until you find the weapon case, much better then tanto. i use it for my all melee build and its unstoppable

I'm Ronin Terra Firma, Introvert and Wanted. I need a lot of med packs and trauma packs, don't like alien DNA, it damages the effect of med packs.

I chose Ronin as well. I love this game and will still be loving it and playing it for many years and thousands of hours to come. 80 hours in so far and I've barely done anything yet, when there is so much to do. What a game!... I love it! 😎

I like to jump behind them and slice their leg before I land.
I don't like melee in most games, but Starfield is those few exceptions that let me jump over the enemies.
0:49 this is the first time im watching this video and it freaked me the hell out when i saw my legit same character on the screen. Like i started my playthrough september 1st, and im on ng+ right now and it scared me when i saw my face pop up

the about this game is, you need to play it for a few hours before it starts getting good. alot of people are giving up early on. because they think its boring. just grind it out guys. it will be wroth it

95% is walking, dealing with this incredible stupid loot- and nav-system and skipping the most boring dialogs I've listen to in a long time. And that's what it is: A waste of time so far (Level 9), fortunately just with GamePass. I didn't bought Mass Effect Andromenda until this year because of mixed/bad reviews and IMO it's in all categories better than Starfield. Better gun-play, better side-missions, more funny dialogs, nicer levels, Nomad, talking aliens, much better UI. I also was playing Fallout 3 this year and it's much better too. I'm just keeping on with Starfield in the hope it's getting better.
I was looking through your playlist and I don't see a, so I played Vanquish for the first time video. Vanquish is like Contra and gears of war combined. All funding was devoted to single player campaign. There is a remaster version available on all platforms. Too many people missed out on this one.
Harvesting from plants was also not that obvious for me. And this is from a Skyrim player who did a whole crap ton of plant harvesting. I think it's because when you are in the scanning mode it's not super obvious that you can hit a to grab stuff from the plant as well. Like I don't think there's a tool tip for it unless you come out of scanning mode
I tried axing those Kreet Pirates when I ran out of ammo...ignited their boost packs and got burned along with them ! 😮😢🔥

I have the specs and still early enough in my playthrough to convert. Even a full chameleon set...🤔..Melee is looking pretty fun..

I tried energy weapons and it was horrible
it's completely useless in the game , except if you have all of the talent points in Duel and sneaky . can do the job at low level anyways , but when you're facing a lv 100 elite enemy , forget melee forever .

I Would enjoy it so much more if it wasn‘t for the endless walks and the blank mini map (Or am i just to dumb to unlock a real map?). Navigation and exploration is so tedious because of the map
Bro... You can NOT wander. I wanted to wander for 100 km over a planet as the first thing. But i can not. There is not a single planet in this game. Only separated, disconnected sheets of landscape which get deleted, once you get more than 4 landing spots or so. So i can not do that. So the planets are not there. So i refunded my starfield bundle with a RX 7600. Even gave back the graphics card although it costs 50€ more now. I don´t care. I was fooled and i don´t play those games. And i defended Howard over 76. I´m done with modern day BGS.

It's a good game. Not groundbreaking but a solid experience. If you enjoy the other Bethesda titles this one should be right up your alley.

My opinion is it is the best game of all time, but with mods.
That's the best of it, if you don't like smth, there will be a mod to tweak that.
Right now mods are simple, in a few months they will touch every aspect, and you can just pick and choose your preferred ones.

I don't know if it's a bug or something, but for me, the game is ridiculously easy. Im playing on max difficulty but I could aswell be playing in very easy without any difference. I can go up agaisn't enemies thrice my level and I still ain't taking alot of damage. It kinds of bums up my experience so far :/ But apart of that, im really loving the game.

I don't know what you're going on about. I was on Very Hard and every encounter was a death sentence... Had to bring it down to Hard.
@@robotman011 I just reached level 40. I went to the high level zones (75-80) and it was still pretty easy (they were much more spongy, but I could survive the encounter without any problem.

The character facial animations and loads of fast travels killed the immersion for me. I am literally skipping every dialogue cuz it’s that bad….but the gameplay loop is good enough to keep me playing😅.

that moment. when you walk out those doors into the Bethesda world, and you think......... WTF this game looks like shit! What the hell, maybe it's my graphics settings. OMG nope they're on Ultra. OMG. This game looks like a PS3 game. Then 1 hour later you realise the loading screens are a problem, the UI is terrible. And it's ANOTHER game that claims to have the biggest open world, but as always has nothing in it. vast worlds of nothing. this game is terriblly done and Bethesda are stuck in the past.
