BMW E90 Boot / Trunk Wiring FIRE HAZARD! Repair Tips Advice

Here are some tips on replacing the boot lid wiring on a BMW E90 i strongly suggest you dont just repair 1 or 2 wires i suggest replacing them all because i found 7 out of 18 wires damaged and you cant see then until you cut them and pull them out! this could cause a fire if you are unlucky!
Its a long job but hopefully these tips will help you i would recommend just getting your own wires perhaps like i did from a pc power supply, not the wires for powering things like the graphics card or optical/hard drives use the main motherboard harness. then just but a new rubber for them to go through.
it can be a struggle to get the wires through the rubber so i suggest using some string or something tie it to the bunch of wires very securely so it doesnt come off push it through the rubber and pull the bunch through.
