I am from Thrissur❤And its not similar to Malabar tamrind ,It is Puli = Malabar tamrind .For Kerala cooking we remove seeds and then put rock salt in that and then pound it and make round shape and dry under sun and then its get that black color.

I have tried biriyani in jail only 60 rs at time before covid now around 70 i think, its so small you need two biriyani for filling your stomach😂, which is okay because when you go normal restaurants, they say hotels😂😂, the price is 120,140,briyani is decent, they also had chappathy 20 rs 10 pieces, chiken curry i think 25 rs, and also buns, these are very cheap price than local restaurant, 😂, these are prepared by jail people😂,

Kerala derives its name from Kar - Ala - The Home of the Dark One ( which is none other than the Great Avenger Goddess Kali). Kerala is also the home of the Great Serpent Kings Lord Anantha and Lord Vasuki. The people of China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos say they are the children of Lord Vasuki. The dance of the Dragon during Chinese new year is that of Lord Vasuki.

Please don't say something so stupid if you don't know.. Kerala is english word for Keralam.. the name means land of coconut.. Kera means coconut and Alam means land.. so it is called land of coconut..

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I am an American and I have seen over the years many chefs from around the world go to India ( one of the most famous ones Gordon Ramsey) and learn about cooking and how to incorporate all the different spices into certain dishes then go back to there perspective country different dishes together, and when they get famous they never give the Indians credit for anything! Hahahaha!
