The Erie SeaWolves win the 2024 Eastern League Championship

Erie defeats Somerset 3-2 in Game 2 of the Eastern League Championship Series at TD Bank Ballpark.
Austin Bergner was spectacular on the mound (1st part of the video), as he struck out 8, didn't allow a run and only gave up 2 hits. Erie won in spite of incredibly awful managing (or maybe it was "player management" despite this being the playoffs?) as Bergner was pulled after just 6 innings and 72 pitches. Jake Higginbotham promptly came in for the 7th and Somerset led off with a single, then home run. The SeaWolves survived however and hung on for the 3-2 win.
Credit to the 50 or so Erie fans that made the long 6+ hour trek to NJ to watch their team win.
