Flown this wonderful craft many times on long haul flights and found it a much quieter plane to fly on than the B 777, but having flown the A 350, I am convinced that this is indeed the most relaxing plane to fly anywhere. I reckon that Qantas have picked the best plane for their project Sunrise......ready to book right now!

This was filmed on the 20th of June, and there was heavy rainfall on that day. Im happy to hear that you did enjoy the video 🙂
Jup i remember how surprised i was about the takeoff angle when i took off in 2014 with the 380 for the first time. Seems like they use the additional force of the engine (higher angle = more vertical force) besides the air pressure effect on the wings to gain height but idk how much that would play a role. Note to myself to calculate it tomorrow based on the thrust these engines put out and the mass of the plane. Maybe we just had a good headwind and this one here too.

Эмирэйтс окрасила этот самолет в специальный ливрею, посвященную Экспо 2020 Дубай, чтобы еще более широко распространить сообщения этого международного события по всему миру. Яркая отличительная ливрея в оттенках синего, содержит крупномасштабную графику ярко-зеленого, оранжевого, розового, пурпурного и красного цветов, которая простирается по фюзеляжу до хвоста и перьев, переплетаясь с характерным кольцевым логотипом Экспо 2020 Дубай. Особые надписи "Дубай Экспо" и "Будьте частью волшебства" размещены на обеих сторонах фюзеляжа А380. Двигательные обшивки также несут надписи о Экспо 2020 Дубай и датах проведения мероприятия.
Кроме того, на самолете присутствует приглашение посетить мероприятие со стороны смелой героини-каскадерши из рекламы Emirates, на доске с надписью "Увидимся там" и "Дубай Экспо октябрь-март 2022".
Знаменитый красный логотип Emirates на нижней части фюзеляжа, который виден только при полете самолета сверху, заменен на оранжевый логотип "Дубай Экспо", что дополнительно повышает видимость и осведомленность о мероприятии во время полетов по сети A380 авиакомпании в течение следующих шести месяцев.
Новая ливрея A380 была разработана, покрашена, изготовлена и установлена внутри компании Emirates. Это был не просто наклейка, а полноценный проект по покраске, самый большой из когда-либо осуществленных авиакомпанией. Процесс разработки и покраски ливреи включал значительное количество планирования и изобретательности. Дизайн был тщательно выполнен в рамках полноценного проекта по покраске, а не просто наклейки. Краска была удалена с выбранного самолета, и одиннадцать цветов были нанесены последовательно и методично. Команда Центра по внешнему виду самолетов компании Emirates работала усердно, чтобы воплотить дизайн на трехмерном самолете и управлять контрастными цветами и сложными фоновыми оттенками.
В целом, целью покраски этого самолета в такую ливрею было продемонстрировать партнерство Emirates с Экспо 2020 Дубай и визуально представить темы и сообщения мероприятия по мере перемещения самолета по сети A380 авиакомпании.
