Hey @mrsubaru1387. Not sure where else to turn so I’ll send my question your way…. I have a 2010 Fotester w only 157k. When driving in the heat (20C) 3 warning lights pop up on my dash (AT TEMP, traction control, and ABS) and my transmission feels off (shifts at different RPMS). This doesn’t happen ever time I drive? So thinking a sensor or something? Will be taking it to the shop this week, but thought I’d throw it at you to see if you have seen it before?? Thanks for all your great content!
Grip Edge's long torx's bit set isn't the most comprehensive on the market. The Quinn Master Set from Harbor Freight has exactly the same long bits but comes with A LOT more in the set. The TopDon - inflator and jump pack is BRILLIANT!! I don't understand why more companies haven't done this already.
That juice box is a cool deal. Vim boys doing vim stuff , can’t wait to pick up their stuff. Qbond looks really cool. Love me some tubby towels. Glad that guy stayed home, probably his best decision yet.
The grip edge stuff looks great, always makes me wonder how the other companies will keep up with their hex, torx, TS etc when the RPT stuff is so good
Definitely some interesting stuff hitting the market. Thank you for the video! Considering on grabbing some more VIM stuff for sure. Oh also MRSubaru if you see this. Are XFRRM705 set you posted up awhile back worth it? They are quite a bit pricey but my Mountain set has seen better days. Any input on it is greatly appreciated!
Hello and greetings from northeast Tennessee! New to the channel here. May I ask a question please- looking to buy an 09 outback with the 3.0r engine. 250,000 miles on it . Few seemingly minor oil leaks runs pretty smoothly ( former auto mechanic still doing my own repairs as well as lots of other equipment so not a green thumb but not an expert either) Is this a good engine or should I stay away from it. I watched a video where you mentioned the PCV valve and I absolutely agree and yes will definitely replace it . If you didn’t mention it I’m pretty sure I would have overlooked it) Got tune up parts was going to do the 5w-30 synthetic oil. Plugs fuel/ air filter valve covers ( leaking) Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks man!
Thanks for the video coverage of ISN. Is this show open to the public? I would love to go in the future. I'm super excited about that Sunex Power Box and the Tub-O lubricant spray.
@SUNEXTools77 I took advantage of Prime Day and ordered the full line of impact/universal socket master sets (1/4, 3/8, and 1,2). Need your cart to put them all in!
*GREAT* media product here. Should add right now current for USA now today *"WE DELIVER NOW"* as if they can't do that no need to part with your work flow.
If you ever buy Wiha tools and look at the back of the package were they are distributed out of It will say Monticello Minnesota that is there only us distribution center for the entire USA in my home town you want a tool from them just walk in and get it so cool how a big company has a walk in store which has every tool that they make in one spot and only store that has all of their tools in one place for the Entirety of the US I have almost all of there tools and love them all I would say if I had to buy all new pliers I would go with them due to their easy warranty claim process and vary good quality and value for the price
I love the gripedge/mac RBRT tools. They slick. But the price difference is pretty minimal. Mac 121 pc set is 299 and the gripedge 132 pc set is 249. Sure you get a few more pieces but there would be a dramatic price difference in not having the MAC logo on it. The hex bit sockets arent as complete as they could be and still asking 99-160 depending on the set. Does anyone else feel like gripedge tools are slightly overpriced?
Oh, and stop fighting with that guy here on RUclips. He's just dragging you down to his level. A long time ago I had a guy attacking me here on RUclips for posts that I was making on an online forum. I ignored him and he went away.

The way Qbond smokes, it looks like the reaction between super glue and baking soda
Sounds like something good to have in the bush

Nice!!
Love seeing the tools old and new on the channel
I know a South African accent as soon as I hear it.. love it that we can hear it all the way somewhere in USA.
the bit set!!!!! its a must!
That sunex cart looks nice. Wish they had it with a split slide top.
Great to meet you at the Expo. Love the videos.
130 pc bit set is nice
LOL @ me walking down the row in the first grip edge clip 😂
Luis got that hair slicked all the way back!!!
Just an FYI everyone Cornwell tools has the Gripedge Maste4 Kit on sale right now for $100 off!
Did your buddy run off when he saw you? 😂 i hope so.
Seems he didn’t show up, at all. 👀
@@MrSubaru1387 he's scared lol
@@MrSubaru1387he probably read all the comments on your video and got scared
I was falling asleep, until I saw Vim tools. That’s the kind of innovation we’ve been waiting for.
The mans hair on 12:30 is on POINT bro 🔥
Those milwaukee d/a's!!! 👌👏👏👏
Japan makes stuff like the Nora and The magnet holder looks exactly like The ktc one

That meeter looks pretty sweet. Save me from having to check out a separate bonding meeter
VIM has two things wouldn’t mind having
Nice work.......
Thanks!
15:40 so.. Cubon.... Is super glue and baking soda peeps.. If you mix super glue with styrofoam itll turn into god tier puddy
Dan is a salesman
He knows his stuff for real!
Good show
Yes it was! Had a great time!
@mrsubaru how are you? I need your opinion. My forester 2015sj won't start in one click but it will start on the second click.
Sounds like a starter
How do you get stubborn engines and transmissions separated?
Any tips? Are there any special tools for this task?
Big prybar and a prayer
Chisel to open a gap, then prybar down each side. Alignment dowels seize.
@@MrSubaru1387 I have an idea for a tool. I just used it to remove an engine from a '12 Forester.
No hammering, or prying. Interested? 🤔
I had a question do you know who makes the Mac tools SD60KL?
What is the run time on those Milwaukee sanders? And they didn’t sound that powerful

Honestly the Kabo sets are great for the money. No real advantage to the Snappy set other than made in USA and service ease.

What kind of lube do you recommend for Koken ratchets?
I use a light oil in them. Seems like grease, like super lube, was too thick and affected backdrag and operation.
@@MrSubaru1387 Thanks, I got a new Koken ratchet & was reluctant to use super lube so I used a couple drops of 3 in 1. Smoothed it out a lot!
The power probe ev meter is as neat as the guy's power probe shirt i thought it was pretty cool looking
I made a video I’ve yet to post on the Grip Edge RPT sockets, they’re the best ones I’ve used for a rounded off bolt yet.
Thanks for the video coverage of ISN. Is this show open to the public? I would love to go in the future. I'm super excited about that Sunex Power Box and the Tub-O lubricant spray.

Do any of those Torx sets have a T20+ in them?
Pretty sure most did.
I need that top don for flashing vehicles
Wait are they selling you the old stile m12 batteries with the DA or the new versions 🤔??
DA coming with the new HO 2.5/5.0 M12 batteries.
Mr. Subaru do you have a video explaining how you got involved with Subaru? I think that would be an interesting story. Thanks
Can you do a cam carrier re-seal video? Need to do it myself but I’ve been holding off. I can’t afford to pay a mechanic to do it.
I know grip is the manufacturer of the mac rbrt tools. I'd buy the mac brand bc of the warranty ease
Little late to the video but when is the e-torx set coming out does anyone know
Meme tool competition is fierce.
Vim tools stand looks really interesting
Qbond is interesting. 1st time im hearing about it.
