The Potter’s House of Dallas Upgrades to Shure Axient Digital, TwinPlex and PWS RF Over Fiber

Founded in 1996, The Potter’s House is a 30,000-member non-denominational church based in Dallas. Production Manager, FOH Engineer, William Barnett, who runs the audiovisual experience at the 8,000-seat campus, sat down with us to talk about his digital wireless upgrade experience.
“The team at Highway Marketing brought out the Shure Axient Digital System and it basically sold itself at that point. “We bought 14 channels and it worked out to be amazing. We used my existing lavalier microphone and did an A/B comparison - TwinPlex with no EQ, no inserts, no any other devices - and it just blew the other microphone away. The audio quality just sounded amazing.”
Along with the PRZM RF over fiber system, the upgrade also integrated Professional Wireless Systems Alpha Multizone antenna distributor, LPDA antennas and wideband UF filers to ensure drop out free wireless performance for the installation’s special needs.
