As a longtime musician I need to pay respect to this pastor because he has to authorize the budget allotment for musicians and these are all top rate musicians so there is no “250$” a wk stuff going on here. Churches want this level of musicianship but rather do events and bring in 5000$ preachers instead of investing in their music dept. After the pastor/leadership, the music dept is the very next important element in the modern church.
You forget about the equipment that they have those nords aint cheap that Mpc ain’t cheap the video equipment isn’t cheap. That church brings in allot of money but at the same times puts it into being able to bring the message and sound in a quality format that does not take away from the gospel experience.
I agree with you doc, some of the churches I’ve played for try to only pay the musicians $50 or less to.One pastor tried to pay my band $150 and it was 4 of us🤨 I declined so fast but respectfully😂😂😂😂😂
Oh Men, I couldn’t have a better comment than this.. I second it, absolutely Spirit filled, GLORY TO GOD For preserving such vessels from HIS Glory.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
One of the only leaders I know who let their musicians play without calling it worldly. I love Pastor , there's a reason big bro Antuan has been there so long.
@@nattysmithmusic7236 still tired of seeing the arrogance of Gospel musicians man it stinks bad. 😪 if you ever hear the sounds of Heaven none of us can say that music we can imitate Yes I've seen some snobby musician's who belittle secular musician's but they learn from them too somehow lol 😆
JonJon is spot on and locked in. Can't say enough about that kind of support and taste, holding it down flawlessly so those solos can fly just like that.
Jubu Smith is a cold beast! For those of you who don’t know but Jubu also plays with Frankie Beverly and Maze. His “Golden Time Of Day “ solos are absolutely phenomenal !!! Peace and Love Jubu!!!
E.Dewey Smith is one of the BEST instigators as a Pastor I have ever seen. I love how he just let his musician's go. But he will nod or make a move to let them know it's time. Everything just flows so excellent down @ The House Of Hope Church. As a drummer I get excited when I see these guys play. Job well done, not just this video but all of there video's old and new this group of musician's just flat out get it down and welcome in the spirit. Peace to the whole group especially the Pastor.

When I first found this video few yrs back I was going through one of the worst moments and this was one of the first videos that came up. Being a musician of over 10+ yrs watching this then did and still till this day lifts my spirit🙏
This reminds me of 1 Samuel 19 when King Saul threw the spear at David. I imagine David played like this that day, because what is this if not pure anointing!
I love it!!!!!! I love it!!!! This moves me! Keep em coming. Been watching Jayden on these keys since he could hardly reach the pedals. Makes me want to cry Everytime I see him play. He reminds me of my son on those Keyes. check him out, his name is jlikelarry and he’s a Minister and over the music ministry at City of Hope in Columbus, Ohio. The piano lessons payed off and God knew his path. It’s just getting started for Jayden too. Get ready for the international travel for you and my son, Jeremy. Your music is needed overseas. Greatest Gospel ensemble I've heard where slow solos are involved! Jubu is one of the greatest out here! I like the love he showed to Rick. Future beast. JAYDEN! Watching him grow. I only yelled at the drummer one time ,being that I am a drummer. Much love Eli. Cadence is hard to keep with THOSE solos! Check out "I don't need no rock!" Faster but dope!

I moved to Canada from Jamaica when I was 6yrs old and became IMMEDIATELY hooked on hard rock and metal. Grew up as a total metalhead! There was NOBODY around who knew more about rock music old/new at that time. I remember working to deliver furniture in high school and the truck driver I worked with would always say, "God! How old are you?!?!?! How do you know that?!?!" whenever we discussed any type of rock music. That being said, i think that my Jamaican roots (even only after 6 yrs) makes me LOVE this type of music as much as I love the metal and rock I grew up with. I CAN FEEL EVERY NOTE! I have played rock guitar for a loooooong time. These solos are I-N-S-A-N-E and sooooooooooooo T-A-S-T- Y!!! American gospel is always sooooo emotive I cannot believe it! I'm always overcome with emotion when I hear it. I will have to learn some of these licks by these 2 amazing guitarists. Gonna stop now...tears of joy are falling onto my keyboard and I'm afraid my laptop will get a short.
