I'm guessing the lineup itself for IVE and LeSserafim might be a major contributing factor as to why one group doesn't appear as close as the other?
LeSserafim has members of nearly equal footing - they all have something that only that specific member can offer to the group. They treat each other as equals, and they're treated by the company as equals, and thanks to that, they harmonize really, really well.
IVE doesn't seem to work that way. Their success is largely due to Starship depending on Yujin and Wonyoung's merits as former IZ*ONE members like a lifeline. Favoritism is prevalent in IVE as so far I've noticed: Wonyoung over Yujin, ove Rei and Leeseo over Liz over Gaeul, which might have contributed to distance between them.

SoMu and Hybe sells this idea of family among their groups so of course their groups are going to go that road. They seems to encourage them to get along among them. There is the fact that Hybe is one of the powerfull agencies right now so once a group debut under them their success is warranty and they do not have the same pressure to success as IVE.
Woonyoung being the 4th gen "It girl" is going to bring a lot of people to a group that needs all they can give to succed, they are still rookies, lets give them time and it is not like if SoMu had not used the previous fame of some of the members of their group to bring fans it is only that was marketed in a different way.
And to clarify I am not fan of IVE but I finally understood all groups deserve a chance to succed.
Tbh I can see why they're not as close, these girls have so many solo stuff compared to other rookies which do stuff mostly together. The group screams akward co-worker's which can be a make or break in the future (like 2 yrs down the line)
Also they debuted pretty fast , right after izone disbanded, it didn’t give them much time to bond , especially won and yujin , but I think it will happen as they go on

100% agree. i fell in love with all of their songs immediately and wanted to stan them really bad. after my dive into performances and other content i felt that they really lack chemistry as a group to me. maybe that will change over time, i guess we will see. that’s just my opinion, i still like the group.
I noticed that many of members tend to try to just look pretty on stage versus actually having good stage presence. It’s a vibe of them rather not messing up their hair then actually being exciting on stage

@@es-jm5fg i disagree yujin and wonyoung definitely have stage presence and gaeul shows out from time to time too, don't forget they do have a royal, elegant concept which isn't a concept we're used to seeing in the 4th gen. their stage presence is gonna be different from what we're used to seeing but they do it well.
ive is just an okay group overall so far, imo. everyones faves were "okay" at some point. ive is just in their okay era lmao. idk why some stans dont want their faves to improve at all, either. just because people think a groups chemistry could be better or stages could be better doesnt mean they think that group is dogshit. it probably means the opposite and that they have potential to be better. constructive criticism and opinions that arent backhanded exist, yall

I swear, people need to understand that being a KPop idol is a JOB. It’s not this fun little thing that people do to make friends. It’s work. They’re doing this to get paid. Yes, plenty of idols are passionate about music and there’s no greater achievement in life than being able to make a living doing something that you love. But for the other idols, they’re just doing this because they want to make money, be famous, live the celebrity lifestyle, etc.
Sorry about that tangent. Back to friendship. The majority of groups are put together by the companies. There’s recently been behind the scenes footage of the formations of the groups One Direction and Little Mix. That’s a really accurate depiction of what companies are doing. First, do they look good together? Will they be able to sell music on their looks alone? Second, are their talents synergistic with each other? Or will they be a train wreck when creating and performing music. They don’t take time to think of “But what if they’re not the bestest of friends in the whole world?” They don’t care. They don’t have the time to put groups through a friendship camp. It’s up to the group to sort that out or leave the company and be forced to pay off their debts.
So yeah, IVE not being best friends may make them not the most interesting to watch (especially in behind the scenes and variety show content). But their job isn’t to make each other friendship bracelets. It’s to get people to like them as a group and to sell albums. As long as they’re doing that, their company will support them. Otherwise, they get shelved.
That's all good and fine but that won't create a lasting fandom. Plenty of people make friends at work too
I agree with that! The only thing the groups need for me is have a great work environment,not being besties,I do not care if they are I just want them to respect each other
@xapazc I agree that's always been the difference between groups like fifth harmony and little mix. 5h never felt like they really liked eachother and their chemistry and synergy was non existent. While they broke records, in the Long run their fan base was extremely divided and very toxic and eventually crumbled along with the group. While with little mix you could tell that they all cared about eachother, even with the whole Jessy scandal. The other three still seem very close together and that synergy and teamwork is what keeps the Fandom together and extends the groups longevity. I just hope that Ive can get to know eachother more over the years and really build up good teamwork because it really does mattet
I feel like being a kpop idol does include being an entertainer (why else do u think there are variety shows?) so i think it would help the ive girls if they atleast have a decent synergy.
But they are not solo artists.. Kpop groups are also groups.. For a longevity as sm1 mentioned they need to have some sort of synergy.. You can't just compete for the spotlight and be in a group. These are the kind of reasons why groups disband
IVE to me is a group I stan for the music quality they have great songs and MVs. I mean in 1 year they got 37 music show wins, Song of the year, and rookie of the year respectively. But when I look at the group chemistry yes they give co-workers I even watched an interview where they had to answer questions about each other and they sometimes didn’t know how to answer or gave the most basic answers about each other. Also when you break down there talent they are just average at everything. This isn’t bad and hasn’t affected them because they have amazing songs and song writers.
I would say theyre average, except in vocals, mostly of them are just weak, the only average in between them its Liz, like shes the only at real singer level...
I like Ive's songs. I like lee soo and liz. I also like their choreo they always get the majority of moves from Free Mind just like Izone.
I feel all their problems can be attributed to Starship's complacency. The money they get from IVE certainly isn't going to the group's development. They already have great title tracks and the popularity is there, why not improve to keep it going.

Mostly celebs were dancing hype boy but the more common folks were dancing Love Dive. I’ve heard some people complain that hype boy is hard to dance so that kinda worked against them and explains why mostly celebs (mostly idols) were mainly dancing it. I also watched a vid the other day where these kids told Gaeul that IVE is the most popular group in their school and all 3 kids knew the choreo to love dive so it’s not hard to accept why they won. Just bunnies and neverlands are bitter about their groups L’s.

They should focus on building their fanbase based on group chemistry, performance and behind the scene contents. A lot of people listen to their songs because its good but i feel like there are just a few actual fans. I would rather listen to their songs than actually pay to watch them perfom.
Agree, I feel like IVE would be way more loved by int fans and gp if they improved in performing. Yujin is AMAZING, but their choreographies don't help at all, especially after like, that choreography is BAD. Also, their chemistry is off. I am a wizone, I tried stanning IVE, but their content doesn't entertain me, on the other side, LE SSERAFIM got me hook up even when they had a scandal and a missing member. They are all very funny and enjoyable to watch. IVE seems fake, every time I watch a performance or content from them,, they just seem fake (not saying they are) but that's what I feel, and most people feel.
IVE has a lot of potential, and they would be WAY bigger if starship managed them properly. It's not the girl's fault alone.
Same here. I just can't get into them as much. With lsrfm, it was so easy for me. That's why I feel bad for Yujin and Wony and wonder if I should just try harder. I'm also wondering how those 2 are doing; while they're more successful chart-wise it feels like there wasn't much in the way of their individual growth. Side by side with ssamkkura, the difference is so painfully obvious, both in terms of artistry and skills.
Thank goodness I'm not the only one! Even Le Sserafim had their scandal,idk,I feel Le Sserafim hooked me better to their group since I feel their sincerity in a sense. Also,it seems like they can take care of one another in the group....

Wony and Yujin are friends and the rest are their co-workers and I felt this when Rei called Yujin her friend and Yujin said "no I'm not your friend because I am older" and she was being dead ass even though you could tell rei was trying to not show her embarrassment.

Personally I have been watching them since debut they were awkward at first but now I can see they have become alot closer LIKE ALOT. Also yujin once said that "we are a boring group. I realized we are a group with so many innocent members". I think since start we are used to seeing groups teasing each other and being chaotic and where as IVE is really shy and quite group. I'm a dive but I agree that their performance can improve alot like all the concert clips of their performing they do a great job but not on award shows.
I’m always the first one to call kpop a business but I always prefer when a group has good chemistry. I’ll still listen IVE regardless but a groups longevity is always based on how much the members can at least like each other enough to renew their contract. I obviously don’t want to assume they hate each other but naturally becoming close with your coworker after a few years is only natural and if it doesn’t happen than I can’t see this group have the longevity of other senior groups like TWICE, BTS, Red Velvet, and Seventeen

Prior to their debut, they already lived together for a couple of years and even went to visist each others families or went on family vacations together. I mean now, they just don't live together anymore and spend every day together, which is normal seven years into their career.
I honestly haven’t paid that close of attention to their performances. Like you said they are generally aesthetically pleasing and the songs are good so that is enough for me most of the time. I can pass off any lack of precision to their newness.
But definitely compared to Le Serrafim, the performances are not at the same level. And I finally watched a New Jeans performance on an awards show and think they have very good stage presence and performance skill regardless of their age and newness.
I feel like starship was like: okay we got Wy and Yujin, we need a group for them, lets add 4 trainees; a vocalist, two rappers and the maknae, its done!
Thats why we can barely can see them being properly "used", like Liz rarely get the vocal parts she deserve, since Ive songs aren't really for raps, Gaeul never gets chance to rap or sing in general, Rei is a little more lucky but not enough and Lesseo its treated like a maknae so
They have a lot of solo stuff because, the group who had ex produce group members only focused on the produce members, so it's good that they have solo stuff going on, it's good in the long run. This is also mainly after the third single album, otherwise you can see during eleven it was just wonyong and yujin got the limelight after earth arcade.Because whenever the 6 will be together the spotlight will always be on wonyong and yujin, everyone wants to capture them the media the local fans.
Plus Ive became too big too fast and starship doesn't have experience in handling this kind of situation, so i am curious to see how Starship manages them

I think one issue that they've been having is lots of individual schedules. When you have forces pulling you away from your group, plus you're not practicing or training, the rate of improvement suffers.
Honestly, it feels like the less popular members are improving faster, because they have fewer distractions. They can concentrate on their core competencies.
I like IVE’s music I just thunk as a group they’re mediocre.
1. Vocals- there’s two strong vocalists and, depending in who o you ask, three at most
2. Dance -I think there’s one member whos improved since debut but no one who stands out as their dances are fairly simple. (Also I hate when people say “well youre not a dancer so how would you know? You don’t preform these” bc 1. I was a dancer 2. Its not my job to preform these dances)
3. SP- honestly I watch one stage and thats it, bc once you watched it the only thing that changes is their outfits. I feel like im watching someone practicing half the time.
But I do love their music and once they drop a mini or full album I’ll buy something from them. They’ve had two comebacks and I don’t thunk they’ve improved much but, i don’t analyze everything they do so, if they have then, im wrong sorry

What i remember most is MAMA 2022 where all rookie groups covered a small part of each others’ debut song, and in ELEVEN Wonyoung was literally the worst one there. She got ate up on her own song😭😭
Also, and i dont want to speculate, but it looks like they keep the choreo for IVE simple because otherwise Wonyoung can’t keep up. Lately it looks like she lacks the energy to dance at all💀

IVE is just one of those group where I like their songs but don’t care much about them as a group 😅 I’ll add their songs to my playlists but that’s about it, I don’t watch any of their performances or videos.
i agree completely, i thought it when eleven dropped but just assumed it was rookie awkwardness but after like put a spotlight on how much they dont have chemistry as a group. no hate to wonyoung or yujin at all but ive has always felt like a group that was created solely to make wonyoung and yujin shine and to compare it to another post-izone group, lesserafim feels like a group that is intended to shine as an entire group. the group feels like it only has one purpose and i feel like that kind of reflects back onto their performances bc their concepts dont always fit all of them so it always feels like theres something missing.
I watched their live stages and it is really a miss. They don't seem to have that chemistry together on stage at all. Its like they added filler memebers.

I have heard every member but Wonyoung sing in a live stage. I wish we could hear Wonyoung sing live. It’s not that she is a bad singer it’s how they edit her voice for the studio version. Like it’s so drastically different. So I mean how do we expect her to sound like it?

this was a deeply analytical video! i've fallen in love with your channel recently, just wanna give kudos to you for the way you phrase your videos. there's some points i definitely agree with, especially with maybe some lacking stage presence - but i personally feel like IVE's choreography being a bit more simple is kinda fine for me! In a way it reminds me of TWICE in their early days, because their cuter gestures and more simplistic choreography would be easy for people to copy and would be instantly addicting (Think the chorus of TT). I physically can't listen to Love Dive without doing the 'Narcissistic, my god I love it' moves, they're really fun and fitting for IVE's songs imo!
3:11 honestly, with the "Ive seen like coworkers" argument, a lot of people say their music show performances and award show appearances as examples when those are the two places they have to be professional, so it makes sense they aren't goofing off. Plus they are only a year old and must be nervous to do well. One small mistake and the girls are bashed like crazy. Honestly, people should watch their variety show 1, 2, 3 Ive to make their judgements, like those girls are just like any other rookie group. And sure they aren't laughing like crazy and doing chaotic stuff every time but not every group is gonna be energetic.
It's still too soon to say this since they just debuted but I agree the chemistry seems off. I mean if I want to invest more time, money, and become their fan, at least I have to be sure that they will stay together as a group for a long time. It's not great to have your favs separated and some start doing things not even related to music. The only "co-workers group" I know that lasts longer than 7 years is Brown Eyed Girl while other groups are like brothers and sisters.
I hope people would stop assuming rookie goups' abilities, friendship and chemistry as they want without giving them enough time to show what they have. IVE is the proof of that
There's nothing bad about kpop group members being 'coworkers'. Sure for a lot of fans seeing the group being close is important but ultimately they ARE coworkers. They 100% don't need to be best friends to do their job properly.

That's OK, but that's not how kpop business works. For group they have to be a one big happy family, it's part of their job.
It's true that they don't have to be friends since its just a job and music + performances is what really matters in the end but based from my experience, one of the big reasons why a casual fan can turn into a stan is group chemistry. Seeing a group who visibly look like they love each other and at least give off the image of best friends (or family if their relationship looks really REALLY close and is validated by staff and outsiders who work with them ) creating good music and looking like they're having fun together on stage is just a bonus to an already complete package.
Tho of course there are exceptions. Some groups don't need a visibly close relationship to succeed. If you have decent music and a really good company backing you up then I don't see you completely failing.
i have many mixed opinion on ive.
1. i love all the member but i think they don"t match their concept liz, rei and gaeul , don"t match yujin and wonyoung energy. The expensive and elegent doesn't work on them. They are cute and pretty very youthfull, they woudl fit izone's elegent concept more than ive's. recently we saw xiaoting covering eleven and she fit just right, so it's really a case of vibe and concept. it feel like they choose the concept based and woonyoung and yujin vibe and brand deal than the group vibe. ( as for leeso, despite being smaller in height , she balance pretty well, her cutness and highfashion vibe. If the group was made of "elegent member" let say : woonyoung/yujin/xiaoting/kazuha/ sullyoon
leeso would shine as the maknee so the cuter member and bring balance in the group, she really fit the group concept.)
2.I am tired by the wooyoung hate, because the girl work her ass off, her schedule is insane and all her peformance are solid. Yes she's not the best performer but she always do a good job. I am personaly satisfied by her stage presence because she has the princess concept and stick to it. that what make her popular and what the company ask of her and her image is what get the brand deal. Of course she won't change, why change a recipe that work well. She's litteraly the money maker of her group without her they wouldn't be here. And her being angry for the center, is 1 understanble 2 not that true. She's the center so , she go in the middle that what center do. Every single even irene is in the middle, every photoshoot yoona is in the center. They are the face of the group that how it is.
I like IVE but they seem like a group made to cater to tiktok: pretty with simple, but catchy, songs and basic dances that the masses can imitate. I gravitate towards powerful and energetic performers, so IVE wouldn't be my go to group to watch live. I'd guess their company doesn't want them to sing live much because it seems like their vibe is to look pretty and put together, and live singing opens up the possibility for mistakes.
You know I usually forgive groups that have bad stage presence and terrible choreography if they had a good vocal line. Not a good vocalist, a good vocal line. Because I am tired of it being one or (if you are lucky) two vocalists having to carry their entire group.
IVE's vocal line is underdeveloped as heck. Starship needs to find them vocal instructors (not a vocal coach) outside of the company, so they can improve because many times company vocal teachers suck or are nonexistent.

i’m so glad you said it lol. ive’s performances always seem so boring to me. the choreos seem like they’re made for tiktok and even if the group has one or more really great dancers you wouldn’t even be able to tell??? their choreos just aren’t be able to showcase their dance skills at all, which is sad because esp gaeul and yujin seem to be pretty good, but again, i can’t rlly tell with these choreos. they’re just so boring and they could’ve done so much more especially with after like. after like had so much potential for a good choreo and it was ruined once again.
and yeah they don’t seem to have any stage presence, especially wonyoung tbh which is a problem because she’s literally the center. centers aren’t just supposed to be the pretty member, there’s a visual position for that. she doesn’t rlly excel in anything either so it’s clear she’s just the center bc she’s pretty and popular, when imo centers should at least have crazy skill OR stage presence (preferably both, of course) but i don’t think she has either.

Also, about their chores: They are actually getting progressively worse. The choreo to Eleven seemed pretty strong to me, especially the intro. Love Dive was a little less impactful and a little more boring but it still fit the vibe of the song. But After Like???? Omg, that choreo was so bad. I don’t mind choreos being "easy" or whatever, but the After Like choreo just looked so repetitive and boring, which is especially weird considering the fact that the song is litteraly a dsico song. The choregrapher could have done so much better imo.

I honestly believe that Starship should have debuted Wonyoung as a model, Yujin as a soloist, and waited a couple years to debut the other members.
Just read the Vogue Korea interview with IVE, they specially talk about the teamwork behind the scenes and how close the members are even the Vogue themselves said, their teamwork doesn't look FORCED.
Like they had to mention it Separately, Starship is paying close attention to the fans.

Regarding their group chemistry: Some people in the comments are kinda over exaggerating. I get yalls view but this is way too reaching to compare them to missA or some kind of shit. As someone who watches every video of ive/ vlive i noticed that Most of the content non-stans watch of IVE is consumed by TikToks made by some 17 year old kpop account or RUclips shorts ( not to forger the twitter hate). For example that airport video looked harmless af since IVE always stans in their arranged standing formation when they pose for the cameras but kpop stans somehow made an issue and wanna paint wonyoung in a bad light. Some people WANT to push that coworker narrative on IVE simply bc they dont like the group. Especially IVE is tiktoks/twitter number one punching bag rn. For me personally, their close. Very close but once again i read and watch every one of their interviews. Plus i cant claim shit but so do yall. Idols dont have to be comedians or kiss each other every 5 seconds for u to judge if their group chemistry is right or not.

I love IVE for their music, and I really love the members. The issue is, like you said, there isn't much of a friendship vibe. Which is okay since it is a job, but when they're also producing content like 123ive and going on variety shows it's quite apparent. I just much prefer to watch other groups, such as le sserafim, since they clearly had time to bond. I don't think ive did. I think their debut process of getting to know each other and finish up training (as we've seen with wonyoung, not much improvement since iz*one as we've seen in other post members who waited and trained more) so the group doesn't feel complete.
And along with the lack of group schedules too. Like there's classic variety shows but very rarely brand shoots and sponsorships as a group like you would expect. You can see which girls are closer. And honestly I don't hate it, I think it's totally okay to have a quiet relationship like that, if you are just coworkers. And obviously there's the whole attitude issue that could be worked on by the company with training, and the unnecessary hate train that I'm sure sucks for the members.
But I'm really hoping over time that they get closer together as a group. And if not, that's okay. They can still produce good music and fun content. And with their recent concert I feel like as more footage comes out we'll be able to see the developing relationships as the members get closer.
There is of course the whole company issue. That's with the favoritism of wonyoung that has created a lot of hate towards the group instead of the company. Not any outward "sorry about this situation we'll do our best to prevent it from happening again" as you would expect when a rookie group makes mistakes. And the focus on the group as a whole. Instead it feels very individual member based. As I said I love the group. But even the name, ive, I Have, is very individual. It's not we have, it's each individual member and their strengths. Which could work great, but with the uneven promotion by the company, making wonyoung seem >>> than everyone else (even though it really just is in popularity, she's much more so than the rest of ive) it's creating problems.
We're still just over a year past debut though. There's lots of time for growth and change. As members activities shift, as time frees up and closes in, and time for the company to choose what to focus on, taking in criticism to present a good group.

Something that I notice is that Gaeul fits the more intense and powerful choreography more. When she dances with IVE she's okay but she's not elegant in a way Yunjin or Wonyoung does it. But when she does dance cover with more intense choreo she shines the most
i can actually completely agree with the points being explained here. though i feel like the reason for the group to appear as boring is actually the girls‘ personality that is shown or rather not shown.
it seems that the girls and here especially the ‚unknown‘ ones (so not yujin or wonyoung), are shy and hold back. hence, cant show their personal uniqueness which would add depth and create diverse characters within the group. (maybe they’re even intimidated to express themselves, or can’t, next to pretty established idols within their own group.) all in all, it is pretty sad because the music is great

Ive members r more interactive with other 4th gen groups. I've seen so many award shows in which former izone members from all groups would interact with each other.
But when it came to ive specifically, they were not interacting with each other that much. Even during the awards, when they were giving daesang speech, it seemed like all members were emotional but were not exactly thankful, idk if that's the right word. They seemed distant, particularly from won young. I've seen their vlive, yt content and other stuff, and they don't exactly show a great relationship with won young. But who knows, might be wrong.
honestly just my opinion i actually think that instead of them not being as close i think their group chemistry isnt as good as the other groups..

They don't have chemistry (I know being an idol is a job) but they are really awkward together...it all feels forced. I even tried to watch some of their content but I can't, it's too boring. I heard eleven, I liked the song, so I started checking out the group, for me to start liking any artists, they have to be a good performer at least, I may casually listen to their music but I don't enjoy their live stages and performaces, I have seen almost all of the award show stages and some of the live stage from their debut and as a group I always thought they lacked something, like no hate to the members at all but kinda like they were not improving, their stages felt like something was missing, i have seen some clips of them dancing in vlives with energy, some members singing live in live singing shows but the fact their most of live performance as a group feels like they often lip sync, well that thing kinda shut me down, I think everyone agrees that they have some of the easy choreo for rookie gg atm, like le sserafim has some hard choreo so does nmixx but they mostly sing live.
I really hope if it is the company stopping them from ceratin things then the next comeback they prolly will change things up andthey have good music but hopefully will start having more enjoyable stages, at least for me...

I like their music, that's it. I watch their performances when I want. And I'm really watching it for their visuals, settings, clothing and just to see them perform the song I saw in the mv. I don’t like to comment on Wonyoung a lot because she does indeed get hate but I must agree that her stage presence and just how she conducts herself in front of the camera overall is not appealing to me. Wonyoung is not the only idol to do this and some other female and male idols do it to and it’s just as boring. But Wonyoung is incredibly fixated on her appearance. It’s almost as if she’s constantly aware of how she looks that if you were to take a screenshot of the performance for a thumbnail, you wouldn’t catch a hair out of place. I don’t blame her for this at all since I’m sure the pressure of being a visual and so so popular means she’s being told to carry this certain image and aura. However, it’s not fun to watch and incredibly boring. I hope she gets to relax more since I’m sure that kind of pressure and expectation isn’t sustainable in the long run.

I like IVE for their songs, but I’d never pay for one of their concert tickets. My 1st issue: live vocals, my 2nd issue: their performances. Please don’t misunderstand: They perform well, are in sync, and I’ve never seen a bad stage, but it seem too… polished? Like a white room with no furniture or deco: It’s beautiful to look at, but it has no soul, no personality, doesn’t feel homey, and you wouldn’t want to stay there.

Everything about the group doesnt work many members role are ignored their shadow in attetion because of other’s. Some dont fit the concept . The stylist arent very creative and only a few smart choices. The groups connectedness aint nowhere were it should be and sorry but it not my problem they arent friends they have to act like it wheather they want to or not because it the korean industry none wants an group that a group fighting for attetion like middle school the want something that feels like a connection and “family” . Also izone members arent working. Izone members look like the members around where filler and overshadow them which doesnt have to happen considered hybe was able to easily the former members but didnt make the the overbearing stars of the show . The groups also has concept where all member shine because they are artist who are trained to enhance and enjoy the stage while the stage and concept of ive is plan and execution without and feeling of enjoyment or real. Its very robust like peform and done while other group like lesserfim are able to change and that what make them enjoyable to the public eye. Ive only has music and not enough talent (showcased) to keep them charting .and if ive were to have bad songs twice they dont have a very stable fanbase of people who love the members but just music and if those who are paying dont enjoy whats keep a group up it would very easily crumble . Wouyoung fandom are the only thing i see in the fandoms of ive. So the only loyal fans are hers which would be the only thing fandom the have loyally. And what starship fails to see is if they wanted an better money grab the could easily allow members besides woyoung to get attention for something and get more loyal fans and fandome for other members that would support and pay for them . But instead the rather make bank of one person instead of five others cause they dont want to invest in the possibility since it easily to work one till death like an puppet .
Also im not sorry people hate woyoung her and her company made all this happen when they decided she had to play the part of this perfect girl people are gonna be put off if when the get a feeling something is wrong or of putting and not natural maybe some people dont undertsand the feeling snd hate her wrongly but no one is that perfect cute girl that always flutter her eyelashes. I watched the last "end of year" awards and ceremonies and in general I found them boring, generic and forgeteable.
Actually I was half sleep in IVE stage but it was not like anyone else really stood out to me.
I don't think Le Sserafim sings live a lot more often than Ive.... i am obsessed with Antifragile and so i watched a lot of performances of that and none of them were live from what i remembered... so i just took a break from watching your video and searched for live stage cams... 2/7 were actually live, from what i could tell... one was a music bank performance of fearless from the 27th of may and one was the SBS Gayo Daejon performance in Korea... when they sing live, they are great, but the don't do it very often either, which is bonkers considering how good they are.
You have to consider choreography as well. Compared to le sserafim, IVE'S choreography is a child's play and parts like the first chorus parts or Yujin's part where she band backwards, etc are almost impossible to sing live with. I am honestly impressed that they sang live on the university stages and gayo daejon in the first place. The backlash for their fearless stage also wasn't the best thing (the redeemed themselve with another live stage, but obviously only the bad stage will get attention)
