Most my videos prior to 2021 were done on this iPhone and glad it don’t look too bad. The audio kept going in and out which is why I don’t like using my phone but oh well. Haha
Thank you and i agree. Happy spouse happy house works too! 😅😁 either way i honor my wife and respect her choices. If it’s too loud for her she will get mufflers back on but for now she thinks it’s “okay” not too loud but she like stock sound in the family car. Maybe get her some Jones resonators at some point and call it good lol
Mustangs have such a nice sound when done right. I’m not really a Ford guy but I can respect a build of any brand. I’m not ashamed to drive anything though. It can’t hurt my pride if I have no pride 😁
@@TexasHondaChannel lol yeah. It doesn't sound too bad now for a v6 but wana little mote sound to it. Got it n a trade for the ranger right after my mom passed. She loved mustangs.
No it don’t affect anything other than sound and a less less restrictive. I didn’t get on it hard in this video but it really moves good and sounds good.
Almost all these newer Honda/Acura models sound pretty darn great with a simple muffler delete. If you just want better sound & looks this is it my friends. Cheapest route & probably the best unless you're doing some sort of performance build & actually require higher volume/flow.
Down pipe or j-pipe? And I’m going with the same setup right now, only because I can’t readily find anymore brand new RV6 PCD’s in the US. Used ones are also sold for a ton with the listings I come across; such a disappointment with the folks trying to price gouge…. Also, I used to run gutted and ported generic pre-cats, but eventually, I wanted some mid and low end power back. Thus, I went for the RV6 HFPC’s recently, and the ATLP V2-R j-pipe. Normally, I go with PCD’s up top and have a catted j-pipe. But this time around, I’m gonna see how this setup does. I’m also running a 2.5”-2” taper Rev9 catback, custom made to fit from a 9th gen Accord Sport sedan.
I wish i can do that to my 07 mdx too i just change my bank 2 catalytic converter and is running like a champ i wish i can install the rv6 but i live in california and all them side show racing ruin it😅 they wont even ship to me once they see the cali adresss there like Nope
Let's get real for a second, since GOD is listening. You wanting louder pipes means you want the attention of others. "Look at me! LOOK AT ME ! " That said, your wife likes the stock pipes, because they are quiet. You got lucky by getting the smaller ones. They will be quieter than the larger ones. Yes, the girls will think they are "cute" and when you are driving it , some guys will be winking at you! It sounds like you are working overtime to keep the wife happy. Getting her an MDX is a good start. Unless she got it on her own, then lucky you!
I did the same thing with my mdx. With normal tips of course but just a simple muffler delete. I love how it’s louder but not extremely loud
Always good to get a surprise video on my drive home
I been editing all night if you haven't noticed from my lack of replying. My bad. Hope you enjoy it!
Great idea on the tips man, you can't even tell it's on a iPhone tbh man in my opinion

Good morning brother. Awesome video as always. God bless.
Sounds great! The tips look cool too, never knew they made tips like that. Im used to seeing the autozone chevy bow tie tips
Yea man they have stars too. I was like Hmm 🤔 Maybe for the rsx.
Good mornin’

@@GlassWerx that’s awesome man and again sorry for you loss. 😞
@@TexasHondaChannel appreciate it
That's pretty cool, i'm gonna tell my friend about this who has a 2013 MDX. is there any check engine light from cutting off the mufflers? Assume not

@@TexasHondaChannel awesome
I cut my mufflers off last July so over a year ago and no check engine has come on yet
Cats are still good , helps keep the noise down
Yup 3 cats 2 mid mufflers or resonators and the rest is free flow. Still technically legal where we live so all it well.

Checking in bro. Sounds good 👍 keep doing what you and killing it. God bless.
Thank you man i appreciate you!
How long it take to get the job done?
My new 2007 mdx has high flow RV6 performance cats and downpipe. Makes a huge difference

I don’t hear shit. I hear the engine. The muffler is what controls the sound. The tips aren’t doing anything.
Sounds good. 🔧
Thank you 🙏🏻
Lol I’m still rocking my 6 s plus too. Best phones on the planet
I have had it a long time works good lol 😂
