Full disclosure, I own an almost entirely stock rust-free MFI ‘72 911. A nearly perfectly engineered lightweight sports car, perfectly balanced, perfectly designed. In my opinion quite a few years ahead of Detroit at the time and in most every way - except for some crazy reason they didn’t galvanize the bodies… Big problem.
Anyways, every time I saw a V-8 swapped Porsche my snobbery kicked in and I thought, “I can’t believe this abomination.“
Then, much to my chagrin, I found out that the LS one and the later model aluminum Porsche engines were nearly identical in weight.
And considering you bought it without an engine, and considering your driving video, and considering how that V8 sounds, all I can say is “Bravo sir!”
