De-risk your portfolios, shore up your core holdings, and take some profits while balancing your portfolio allocations. I’d also suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I. Swings in share prices are noise. Look at year over year trends in sales and annual net profit, comparing them to a company offering products or services for the same market. . Never invest in a company whose products, services, market and management that you do not fully understand. If you have confidence in the long term viability of a company, and you did a careful analysis of its worth when you first bought its shares, here's one approach. Have your investment account set for minimum taxes - sell highest prices shares first. If the share price. swings lower than your average cost per share, buy a fixnt ed percentage of the shares you have. Wait 31 days and sell no more than an equal number of your shares. Either use the proceeds to buy shares in a different company in a different category with good expected returns, or wait 31 days and then buy more shares of the original company. This will give you capital losses that you can deduct from your taxes, lower your risk and for a given number of shares, minimize your investment and maximize your long term return per share.

Companies have one task: to create productivity capital from innovation and either feed that back into their own innovation process or give it back to the market so the market can allocate it to other companies with higher innovation productivity eitrher directly through stockholding or indirectly through consumption. So companies which think they have more innovation potential than capital will recycle all profits into innovation and pay little or no dividend. Companies or industries with little innovation potential return it in form of dividends so shareholders can use their minds to make innovation investment decisions. I personally invest at least 5 years in high innovation companies with large growth and innovation potential. That is why Tesla is great, as it is the pure manifestation of innovation like no other company ever, not Ford, and not even Microsoft or Google or Amazon. The other 50% goes into stable productivity companies with stable dividends, which are mostly cycle proof. Wars don't change the macro economics. Every recession is just a bigger reallocation of capital. High innovation potential companies will always recover. Over 5 years any emotional corrections always even out again. After all where else can we invest? People always realize this after the panic has ebbed away.
Thank you Elon for your vision and your endless drive to get it done! Never take it can't be done as a answer. To the team and team members of Tesla, keep up the great work and defend your leader with vim and viger. He is truly special.

I was fascinated and mesmerized for the entire four hours. OK, I've nearly been at the Jeep assembly plant nearly 39 years, and what I see Tesla doing with wiring harnesses let alone the entirety of Tesla. OMG! 😲 I can assure you (anyone who hasn't seen or worked in assembly) that wiring harnesses are one of the most labor intensive, complex, costly, and problematic components/processes we and every other oem has to deal with in auto assembly. And, as was pointed out, wiring harnesses are one of, no actually, they are hands down the worst reoccurring, difficult to diagnose, expensive, and time-consuming things to repair. I mean, everything Tesla is doing across the board is amazing, and the level of innovation is simply astonishing. Tesla is not only focused on innovating the product, but their laborious and tireless innovation and improvements to "The Machine that builds The Machine" quite literally puts them in a league of their own. There is simply no comparison. So, another example of Tesla vs oem Tesla is removing dead space (zigzag lines, accumulators, buffers), whereas we added an additional 100 car buffer between the bodyshop and paint shop instead of solving the problem of incessant breakdowns in the bodyshop. In a nutshell, if we (the oem's) don't change, and I mean on a scale thats never been done, then we are toast. Imho, we're already in the toaster and starting to burn 🔥

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I think we should only be solar, and stay away from wind power, as I think wind can be quite dangerous. If you have a storm coming that would possibly make it to the center of a land mass, would a bunch of windmills at the edge of the land mass bring that storm down to a halt? We will be essentially draining the power of storms and the amount of distance they will travel and hydrate the land. On the other hand, maybe we can control hurricanes better with wind mills placed in the ocean that can be submerged underwater when there isn't any major storm.

150+ slides of information and presentations from 17 senior executives - an outstanding investor day. This long term investor very happy. Of course, the short-termers sold on the news after the price rose on the rumours.
Yep 👍
I was really glad to see and hear from so much of the team. Great event. Like always, leaving me wanting more.

Impressive call- just shows how far Tesla is and well thought Master plan - Part 3(already in motion), great work!
That was excellent 👏👏👏👏
must be so nice to work for company that have clear goals and ambitions... engineering with bureaucracy is amazing to witness!
Keep it up Tesla
Nice work today guys! Shows just how far Tesla is ahead of the pack in all the areas that count. Legacy car makers are falling further behind. Keep up the great work and continue to push those boundaries 👍
Weren’t they rated the least reliable car manufacturer? 😂 Were you guys paid to write these?
Proud of the Tesla team this is amazing as a shares holder but most of all amazing for humanity ❤
My comment: such a team of geniuses ! Incredible ❤
3:57:28 - it’s okay to scrap equipment/money not okay to scrap time. So the way we’ve been approaching it is probabilistically what do we think is most likely to succeed.
This is awesome…Proud to be an investor!

They just showed the world that they have a world class team capable of scaling their production of electric vehicles, batteries, megapacks, and their neuralink ai while always improving the product and lowering their costs at the same time from efficiencies and innovation to the likes of which NO OTHER automaker can match. The way they run their business is extremely hardcore, always pushing past the normal limits. Its a company that should not be underestimated! Shorts will get crushed once Dojo and HW4.0 speeds up FSD to level 4 and level 5 autonomy within 2 years! Demand will be infinite, and as he said affordability will be the limiting factor.
Best quote from Elon: "It's not wishful thinking Earth can and will move to a sustainable energy economy and do so in your lifetime." This seems incredible...at least until a few years ago. Now, it seems inevitable. Awesome!! Lotsa of love to you all from Toronto ♥♥♥
whether some people like it or not, Tesla is a company run by pragmatic-practical-smart people who seems to be in tune with how technology can be applied for the betterment of humanity in the long run...

Currently the most impactful & technologically advanced company on Earth. Period.
Big business thinks of people as sheep, it's easy to steer people in the direction you want, with just a few persuasive claims. Do anything, say anything to make a sale.
Absolutely 100% why one day when I can get back on my feet after a severe TBI, I will own a Tesla and have a Tesla solar run house. Stay strong Elon. ✊
Finally a legitimate Tesla Live Stream, I've seen crypto scams everywhere!
"Manufacturing with Tom Zhu" actually starts at 2:05:00, not 2:23:00. Just a correction.
EDIT: Actually I think all of the timestamps are wrong, and are off by 18 minutes. So if you want the correct timestamps, just minus 18 minutes from the ones listed.
"Very proud that over the last couple of years, despite the ups and downs in the macro env. and interruptions to supply chain we have never once pulled back on our investment in growth" -Zach. WOW JUST WOW!!!;)
As an investor with the vast majority of my money in Tesla stock I really appreciate this in depth look into the companies operations. Fantastic!
VRITKN300 is young. Holding almost anything mentioned here is a good hold because the VHS or Beta will only show in time. I want to hold them early. Its sad that most dont think of these things as good future holds instead of being out of the market and bottom hunting. Are we the adopters or are we scavengers? surely one of these layer ones will become the standard and i dont want to sell any of them too early.
Awesome Investors Day!
Thank you Elon and he’s tim great job♥️♥️♥️♥️👍
Happy Water day!
Look forward to Tesla's innovations in water use in the next Impact Report.
Perhaps a cool video on this channel as well.
Thanks!
As someone who spends a lot of time learning about this company and following these events, I thought this presentation was solid and dropped a ton of cool and interesting updates. As someone who watches the markets and understands how most retail traders probably approached this event, I think the nature of the event and the goals of the presentation here could have been communicated much, much better.
As someone who takes atleast 2 shits everyday, thank you for your insights .
@@hariprasad_iyer As someone who needs to eat more fiber I thank you for your insight.
Do we want good engineering or good PR. I’d rather have the engineering. Because it’s the basis of what they do.
I hope everyone misunderstands what was said, until I finish buying the dip.
@@derrickstableford8152 It depends what the event is billed as- if they called it Engineering Day, then this was great. Right in line with AI Day and Battery Day. Very technical, and mostly for the Tesla nerds. But if they call it Investor Day I do think focusing on PR would have been more appropriate
Thank you everyone at Tesla. Thank you.
It's a master class in systems engineering! We see the emergence of a new production system in which simulation, virtual reality and AI can inform the development of manufacturing processes leading to radical productivity increases.
Elon is making the world a better place!

Mind blowing. Parallel assembly at its maximum
Thank you, Team Tesla. Truly an aligned synchronous effort in service of the mission. More exciting times are ahead for humanity.
Tesla stock swings too much to calmly accumulate and hold, After buying TSLA shares for just over 10 years, i'm struggling to make gains presently. How do i adjust or revamp my $2M portfolio? Should i consider some defensive investments?
Everyone needs a Margin of Safety in their portfolios and just remember, It's time in the market versus timing the market.
We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
I fired mine 13yrs ago. now I am beginning to see the benefits, how do I get one? Considering your point I won’t want to get into a bubble. Can you recommend any?
"Jennifer Leigh Hickman" is who i work with and she is a hot topic even among financial elitist in Texas. Just browse, you’d find her, thank me later.
Excellent report on what is coming for the planet. Thank you Elon Musk for caring about the future of our children.
Zach is awesome. He's always been impressive on the earnings calls, but he looked even more at home doing this presentation. Really smart guy and great asset for Tesla.
tesla team is definitely a world class one
Very excited!
Jemand sollte das unserem Bundeswirtschaftsminister Herrn Habeck zukommen lassen ☝🏼
The innovation is so beyond any historical companies. They are so far ahead in thinking and vertical integration.
Some highly impressive stats!
Outstanding!
Excellent presentation and good explanations on 2023 Investor Day 👏👏👏
THANK YOU TESLA AND ELON MUSK!
Just like Battery Day, AI Day 1 & 2, the majority wouldn’t be able to comprehend the impact of this presentation. Only a fool would doubt Tesla’s engineering supremacy after watching this.
Thank you tesla team !
I was very excited.
I am impressed that revolutionary improvements are being made one after another.
May the Tesla team be with the Force.🍀

With changes in the economy leading to instability in the stock market, some individuals may face a decrease in their investments in an effort to benefit from the current market conditions, I am considering liquidating my $725k portfolio consisting of bonds and stocks. Someone else in the same situation? Please tell me in the comments!..
would suggest you thoroughly evaluate the companies you have invested in and their estimated future performance, as we may expect to see the market decline further. To minimize stress and improve efficiency, it might be wise to seek the assistance of an investment advisor to help restructure your portfolio and identify any underperforming investments to offset. This approach has been successful for me and has reduced my stress levels.
@@MajorCockbern I have been exploring the possibility of utilizing advisors to help navigate the stock market during these uncertain times. However, I am still evaluating their potential effectiveness in providing the support I need.

Just WOW!! Very reassuring to see the true winning spirit of Tesla live. At the highest level, NONE of the competition has the CULTURE that tesla exhibits here. The results made, the plans ahead and every word shared just confirms that culture that we long term investors believe in so much. Amazing people onboard! What a team and brain sizes at display.
Have total confidence in the future of Tesla.

So, another example of Tesla vs oem
Tesla is removing dead space (zigzag lines, accumulators, buffers), whereas we added an additional 100 car buffer between the bodyshop and paint shop instead of solving the problem of incessant breakdowns in the bodyshop.
In a nutshell, if we (the oem's) don't change, and I mean on a scale thats never been done, then we are toast.
Imho, we're already in the toaster and starting to burn 🔥
This is sooo damn good. Thank you Tesla.

For humanity and planet earth!
They are not crushing anything.
I love the fact that every engineering branch in Tesla focused on increasing efficiency to the customer experience which is core part of any business.
thanks to all Team! ;)
Ready for an EV, just got solar panels - great job Team Tesla.
