Nice of you to get the case of Early Times for your Patrons. (I've never seen an Early Times on the shelf.) EH Taylor ... last time I saw one on the shelf was 2018.
All of them are great in an old fashioned. My personal favorite is mitchers single barrel rye. Its a little lower in proof so i just add 2.5 ozs instead of 2. Thanks and cheers 🎉🎉🎉
Great list. I would add the Knob Creek 115 Proof Single Barrel Select. The store picks are out of the price range, but just the standard shelfer select is right at $50 and great in an old fashioned. Cheers.🥃😎 Hope you had a Great Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
That’s a good one to add, and I agree I actually made one with a KC store pick the other day, couldn’t agree more. I hope you had a great Christmas and have a good New Year as well!
Nice list! Completely agree with your choice of the Bulleit 12 Yr Rye. The most high end bourbon I like to treat myself to is Eagle Rare, simply can't afford to use EH Taylor when its over $125 as a mixer. I would recommend trying Penelope Valencia in your next Old Fashioned, especially if you enjoy orange citrus notes in your drink. Want to have a nice new experience? Use black walnut bitters, complete game changer! Cheers to all!
Love WT 101, as far as the grand mariner goes that’s one step too for for me personally with an old fashioned I’m basic when it comes to an old fashioned lol
Most of the time I include a splash of Grand Marnier to my Old Fashion............makes it just alittle more special!! Cheers
Never woulda thought about that….interesting

Wild!
ET BIB on every single shelf in SC (fort mill area)
I see EHT once a month at least. It’s getting even more frequent than that

Cheers buddy! I loooove Black Walnut bitters!
Suck EHT is 125 near you
Saz Rye makes an absolutely diabolical whiskey sour
100 percent does
Great suggestions; no shame in using allocated bottles for cocktails!
I didn’t get as much negativity as I thought I would lol
How about a Wild Turkey 101 Rye with maple syrup, bitters and Grand Marnier. Sweet & spicy.

@ only a splash (less than an oz) is used
