@jannboy326 yea, it's just how collegiate acapella goes. Every year people graduate and new people join the groups. The repetoires change too. It's the same in all college acapella groups. UCLA Awaken, USC Reverse Osmosis, BYU Noteworthy, CSUN Acasola, UC Men's Octet.. different groups every year. Some years are better than others.
I've been thinking this a lot lately, but I prefer the a cappella versions of these Octet songs...It must be my newfound realization that the voice is just as much a musical instrument as a piano or guitar and that todays music sounds very synthetic and hidden by those instruments

The '02-'03 Octet recently had a reunion in Hawaii, and someone posted a video of a short live stream concert they did. Just search for the UC Men's Octet's most recent uploads.
