Sure, it was done as most of these device supports control via wi-fi and Alexa(Amazon Echo) was configured to pass those commands to devices. Now, each of these devices have different control & configuration which needs to setup in order to automate. You could drop me an email on kapil.4u2@gmail.com with your specific questions and will and will answer.
@Kapil....Your setup is amazing. I just want to know how you connect all the devices to alexa. Do you need to wire it or any Alexa Wifi powered device can be connected through your home wifi to alexa.
Hey Rohan, different devices are connected differently. Ultimately you need each device to have capability to get controlled over Wi-Fi network. Any device which is WI-FI enabled can be configured with Alexa or Google Home easily and be able to controlled via them.
Cool you have I like your channel I I never seen this before but I really did it cause I love it I like your channel and I and I like all your Alexa because they look so cool❤
While it's nice seeing all the different things he has tied into his Alexa, this video shows (or does not show) the problem when the devices are from different manufactures. You can not create scenes across different manufactures in Alexa. For example he could not control the LED lights and the shades at the same time. Everything you want to do from a different manufacture has to be a separate voice command. That is not automation, that is just using your voice to control.
@Jeffery, that's not 100% true. Yes, if you use individual apps for your devices then you have to command them separately and your statement is true. However device/services like Alexa or Google home is the solution. They have apps/skills for almost all of these devices and you can very easily creates a scene with different type of devices. Example:- I have created a scene in Alexa for kids with the name "Let's Party", so whenever kids tell Alexa to "Let's Party", this is what she does: - Closes the blinds if open - Turns off main light - Turns on disco lights - Turns on LED lights - Plays the pre-set music. Now, all of the above actions controls different type of devices, but I don't need to do anything in their app. Everything can be pre-set sequentially in the Alexa app. Let me know if you still have any questions.

I love it. Hopefully I'll one day invest and do this in my house.
They are not that difficult.. You just need some time & patience... Good Luck with your Automation.

Like you I have Echoes all over my house and like you I also have Google minis which I dont use as much. I prefer Alexa.
