like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

This 4th gen speaker definitely does not disappoint when it comes to sound quality as well as having a strong mediatek processor. You can really hear the rumble of baritone voices and at the same time pick up on the finer instruments which are often lost in the background.

Alexa is definitely helpful in a lot of things especially because the new model can recognise voices from a wider range. This Mediatek powered Echo Dot seems like a decent addition in smart homes if you are looking for a compact upgrade.

Hey great video, but I would like to point something out using a multiplug with a smart plug is a bad idea, those things have current limits and if you exceed those you can damage your plug or even the devices
Yeah the host or video content creator himself abt this channel is not smart enough. Echo dot 4 has guard feature, hunches, occupancy detection etc. But this guy is talking about the one thing that should not be done i.e. overloading the smart plug lol
