I'm sorry, this was an obvious sabotage. They did not give him the juice (or they gave him something worse), and the whole corporate media was given its marching orders. The coordination was typical orwellian theater, I am constantly surprised that everyone can not recognize this pattern yet.
Yeah, seeing every single person on CNN saying how awful it was right after the debate was so obvious.
Yeah, a major part of the media all changed their minds 180 degrees in 90 minutes.
Yeah, I heard reports of a “medical emergency” at the CNN building a few minutes before the debate began. I think they realized Joe’s meds hadn’t kicked in yet and were thinking of pulling out but realized it was too late and let him go on. The meds kicked in about half way through but the damage was done by then. I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever was in charge of his meds didn’t dose him right, probably on purpose.
@@chadchadchadchadchad I still do not know what their end game is, my feeling is that they now want Trump to win, just to give the appearance that voting is not completly corrupt, and to keep people from looking at our whole government (CIA, FBI, congress, senate, etc) and finding corruption everywhere.

The theory early on was that they used Biden as an excuse to not have a real primary because they were concerned RFK could win. Now they can say its too late to have a real primary so we just need to appoint a candidate to save muh democracy.

This whole thing was manufactured. There's some reason they want him out and idt it's dementia. If it was, the entire media would have said so 4 years ago during dem debates. Instead, they pushed him and covered for worse "gaffs" than debate night.
I was shocked Biden took the debate at all. Now I understand it a lot better. This was planned since they agreed to debate no matter what he said or did. In hindsight everyone now admits, Biden had senile moments at the debate. He's had way worse moments multiple times before debate night except CNN decided they would notice too and if they'd have decided to go the other way, dem voters would have stayed exactly the same. They'd have continued to believe his senility is a right wing conspiracy.
I like how Dave started calling them the "corporate media" instead of mainstream ever since he went on the Glen Greenwald show recently (it may have been Michael Malice, I can't recall atm). I hope that phrase catches on with everyone because it's an apt descriptor for them👌

Donald Trump showed good manners during the debate. He could have been his arrogant self towards Biden, but he didn't. He stayed quiet and you could see from his demeanor that he was showing respect towards an old man with dementia. I thought he should good graces actually. He did not engage in elder abuse, unlike the democrats and Joe's own family. For me, and I am an Australian, Trump was by far the winner. Just on that fact alone. I will admit that I am a Carer in the Aged Care Sector, so it was refreshing to see Donald stay quiet. Joe should not be in the running. Time to book him into a nursing home guys.
Trump always had good instincts, he agreed to a debate that was stacked against him and won by letting Biden speak and for once didn’t make the story about himself with outlandish behavior or bullying. Very well played. I don’t think it was compassion or respect though. And just because he is demented now doesn’t make Biden any less contemptible.

It more humiliating for Americans because we have a presidential candidate in RFK that is well read and able to make arguments but 2/3 of Americans can’t bring themselves to vote for him.
He has well read, well articulated, pro war stances. He’s a Kennedy, a self described addict, and rode on Epsteins plane. He’s compromised, thoroughly.
The best possible outcome would be for the Democratic Party to come crawling back to RFK Jr. knowing that Biden, Harris, Newsom, etc. are ALL losing tickets against Trump. In a Trump vs Kennedy general election, I could rest easy knowing that regardless who wins, at least someone sane, coherent, and competent will inhabit the Oval Office.

Apparently the rules set for the dnc and rnc are different in that the democratic delegates have an in good conscious clause while the rnc delegates are bound to their candidate. I don't know that Biden even has to step down for them to choose someone else

Yes, and that something big could be a planned attack on America before the election. Thousands of Chinese men (young, fit, militant) have been crossing our open borders for over a year, but nobody knows why. Biden can keep power during a domestic attack. We all know China wants Biden to have a 2nd term, and he’s been working for them for years. The ruling she was talking about had nothing to do with immunity, she was referring to the ruling on Cheveron Deference, which basically reduced the power of the three letter agencies to make federal rules that are not specifically related to actual laws.
It doesn’t matter what she was talking about because it was all incoherent nonsense anyway. She needs to retake 7th or 8th grade Civics class to understand how our republic was actually intended to function.
Congress has been writing exceedingly vague laws on purpose for decades and allowing unelected “experts” in federal agencies to fill in the gaps with their own regulations. Why should unelected bureaucrats get to rule over the people enforcing arbitrary regulations not even passed by Congress? Furthermore, why should the judicial system defer to these “experts” to interpret law, when that’s clearly the court system’s job? We essentially had unelected bureaucrats writing “laws”, enforcing those “laws”, and assisting the judicial in interpreting those “laws”.
Chevron Deference was struck down because it was an obscene overreach of executive branch power at the expense of both the legislative and judicial branches. The death of Chevron Deference means the restoration of powers to their proper, constitutionally delegated bodies. Congress will have to be much more specific with the language of the laws they write, and the courts are no longer forced to defer to the opinions of the IRS, EPA, ATF, etc.

Hey Dave, I think you need to give credit to Trump where credit is due. If you don’t think Trump had many opportunities during the debate to humiliate Biden while he was mumbling, you’re wrong. In addition, Trump has been saying Biden should NOT be in this position, he is not fit or competent and they need to get someone else.He’s been saying this!
I think Dave did give him that credit, I think the point he was making is that Trump’s answers throughout the debate were nothing special and shouldn’t get kudos just for being a halfway decent person and not knocking down Biden while he’s down. That’s just basic decent human respect. Doesn’t detract from him not running a good campaign and not addressing more central concerns about the country.

Regarding presidential immunity, it's not that they can't be prosecuted, it's that only Congress can prosecute and convict, as per the Constitution. Otherwise, any DA or even any foreign prosecutor in a country with an extradition treaty can blackmail a President: Do X or I'll prosecute you once you're out of office. The Chief of the Executive, elected by the people, cannot be blackmailed by some DA.
Yes, and it's also about the supremacy of the US Constitution compared to any other laws. If Congress, or any of 50 state legislatures, could pass a law that it's a felony for anyone - including the US president! - to pardon someone, that law would be automatically unconstitutional. In the direct sense that the US Constitution says the president has power to pardon people. You couldn't prosecute a president because he pardoned someone. To rule otherwise would be allowing legislatures to control the executive's specifically enumerated constitutional powers.
If it's a question of the plain text of the US Constitution versus some legislature with a 50% majority vote, the Constitution wins. The ruling here said he gets: a. automatic immunity if it's clearly in the Constitution; b. if it's probably in there, then he has presumptive immunity, and you have to prove it's not a Constitutional power he's exercising; or c. if it's not in the Constitution, well then there's no conflict.
Now, how the power of the US President is interpreted is the real question when it comes to limits to the powers of the President under the Constitution. I wonder if this ruling will give people pause about giving the Executive branch more and more power, especially in light of the recent Chevron decision, specifically limiting the powers of the executive. Maybe it's best to assume less power to the Executive, if for no other reason than to neutralize the potential negative effects of this decision. If you believe in an imperial presidency, this decision is a disaster. Otherwise, it's a reminder that limiting the powers of the executive branch is a constant battle that must be fought.

We must fully resist and _always vote_ against (& less authoritarian than) both the Democratic *and* Republican Parties- including Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Rand Paul (He’s _no_ Ron Paul), Thomas Massie, Warren Davidson, Ron Johnson, and all other Republicans. Vote in every single election- at all levels. And also _endorse or anti-endorse,_ in all elections you can, for outside your voting jurisdiction.
For _all_ public positions. And this same strategy applies against the same one or more party-monopolies in _all_ countries worldwide.
Real libertarians will never be Republicans or Republican loyalists. Never vote for _any_ Democratic member or loyalist either.
If no candidates for a position fit that bill:
-Where _write-ins_ are permissible, always write-in an anti-authoritarian person;
-Where write-ins aren’t permissible, always vote uncommitted or leave the ballot blank.
This will continuously reduce the power of _all_ authoritarian parties in the party monopolies. Until our task is complete.
Repeat strategy for all new authoritarian parties that emerge.
Consistently voting for the leader of two evils is still choosing evil.
