I changed jobs so I could be closer to home because of gas prices and so I could ask for a higher salary. Inflation basically ate all of that up and now I’m back where I started.
I feel you, I got a 13k/yr raise and the cost of living for me and my two kids went up about 13k/yr. Spinning my wheels when we should be breathing a little easier. Not due for another raise for at least a year, I’m sure by then they will just devalue the money so I break even again 😅 Wish me luck!
