I can shoot mine with my left hand In da terribly but my right hand had a tendon injury and is impossible to shoot. I'm not sure what worse though this DA trigger or the p64 da trigger. Still probablly the nagant by a few lbs. Sadly my single action trigger isn't that smooth either I can usually get a shot center at 15 yds or so but after that It shoots high because the hard trigger pull
@@redbarronreviews2429 yeah I got one for mine, still haven't put the trigger spring in but had to for the recoilvspring because the recoil was the worse thing I've ever shot
I missed my chance to get one when they were cheap and ever since then, I’ve been waiting for the price to go back down. I still want one, it’s definitely on the bucket list.
I hope they come back down. I don’t think they will though. I have been looking for about three years when I stumbled into this one for a decent price.
@@redbarronreviews2429 right? I don’t think it’ll come down either. Especially with the whole Russo-Ukraine war. I one time saw on eBay, that they had a .38 special cylinder for it that someone was selling. Made me wonder if it’s possible to switch to that without switching barrels, just the cylinder.
That’s a good question. I want to say no because I don’t think it’ll handle the pressures but I’m no gunsmith. I know they make a 32 ACP cylinder for it, but it’s pointless now because that ammo is hard to find too. I remember when these were $75 and it came with a holster, all the tools and the lanyard. There were crates and crates of them at the Tulsa gun show.
@@redbarronreviews2429 damn I ain’t old enough to experience that. All I remember is back in 2018, they sold em for 100 bucks with just the revolver and sometimes they’d have a holster with it. But yeah I wouldn’t think it would work out much and I kinda remember seeing the .32 ACP as well but like you said, it’s hard to find that ammo. I wish these different ammunitions still stuck around. They’re good and can be popular if they kept making it. Kind of like the .38 Super round came back.
I just picked mine up, and it's probably the cleanest Nagant Revolver I ever purchased. It was made back in 1931, pre-WWII, and it probably didn't see a whole lot of action.
I have a question, The noise of the shots is not appreciated in the videos, because in real life they sound much louder and in the vast majority of videos they sound very slowly, if someone can answer my humble concern please.
All handguns are pretty loud without hearing protection but this one wouldn’t be as loud as a 9mm or something like that. It’s a pretty small and slow moving bullet compared to most in the present day.
Not really, being historical and having a long service life are two different things. There are plenty of historical firearms that had nowhere near the service life of the Nagant Revolver. The 1911 is the only other service pistol. I can think of that comes close without major design modifications. The P 38 sort of counts, but it was modified into a lighter frame.
It also extends cloak by 40% and restores it on hit
Yes pears well with an old watch and a switch blade
I love the uncircumcised ammo
😂most underated comment i seen in a years 😂😂😂
You can pick it up from drawler after 60 years and shoot :)
Yeah you’re right I do definitively need one these Guns
This is one of my MOST FAVORITE Revolvers of all time🤟✊👌👍🔥💯
While 3 states accurate when used single action, they require superhero hand strength in when used double action.
It’s unusable in double action in my opinion. I think my particular Nagant is closer to a 30lb pull in DA

@Mibit911 they make a spring kit for P64 and it turns into a wonderful little gun.

About history. That's the gun used to play the Russian Roulette (traditionally)
Smith & Wesson 3 Russian more suitable imho -- Russian roulette is more like officer game among officers in 19 century
@@jorgvillger3591 I still wonder how the first person decided to randomly invent this game lol
@@Plague364 no wonder. In 19th century duel among officers was extremely popular entertainment. Many famous people died on duels during 19 century.

If it could have a swing out cylinder or schofield cylinder I totally would
Russia to this day is issuing nagant revolvers to their soliders
Think they’re using them in Ukraine? I’ve seen photos of a maxim being used
I haven’t seen any pictures floating around, but by quantity of these made alone I’m sure they’re in both sides stock piles at the very least.
How much do they go for usually
5ish in my area.

It isn’t extremely accurate. It’s actually bad accuracy wise.
I haven’t had that experience in single action. They do shoot pretty high up close but at 30-40 meters the 2 I’ve had shoot great!
